One fighting the evil tormenting his family.
The Other fighting the evil tormenting others.
One her Brother, her C.O.
The Other her Friend, her Undefined....
One with strong legs. Fast.
The Other bound to a chair, the use of his legs lost in war.
Both tall and beautiful and blond. With eyes hiding years of pain.
Yet both softening as they look at her.
Both with strong arms that reach for her and hold.
Both comfort with a gentle touch.
One, a link to her past. She holds him close to her heart.
The Other, her future. In fear she pushes him away then pulls him back.
One in trouble calls to her and pleads for help.
The Other hides his pain behind cutting words that wound her heart.
She fights the One to help the Other.
Then fights the Other to help the One.
Each protecting a wounded heart asks her to leave the other for him.
But she won't. She will never abandon either. She never will.
