"They lived happily ever after," didn't quite cut it when Snow White went gallivanting off with Prince Charming. Once the maiden left the dwarfs in their tracks, bad luck started to arise.

Snow White got into a nasty quarrel with the prince.

"This horse is going too slow!!" Snow White complained.

"Well, how fast do you want Old Rusty to go?" inquired the prince.

"Well, MUCH faster than this. It will take years for us to get to the palace."

"Old Rusty can't go that fast! He's getting too old."

"Then why did you pick this horse?! I can see my cottage from here!"

And they argued on and on until they came to the footbridge.

The footbridge was a very quiet and peaceful place. Most people went to the bridge to think and meditate.

When they were in the middle of the structure, Snow White started to slip off the horse. In a few seconds, she was dangling upside down helplessly from Old Rusty. Her dainty, little shoe was caught in the stirrup. "Help!! Help!! Don't just sit there. Get me right side up!!" she yelped.

The prince lunged for Snow White, but at the same moment, Old Rusty reared.

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!" Snow White shrieked as she fell into the icy, cold depths.

Snow White surfaced and spit out a mouthful of water. "That's it. I'm tired of all these bad things happening to me. First the slow horse, now falling into the stream and getting my beautiful lilac-colored dress drenched. That's it! I'm going back to the short, little men. Goodbye Prince Charming!"

Snow White marched back to the seven dwarfs' cottage, never to be heard from again.
