A Bird and a Fish
I watched a sparrow fly over a pond-
She was gazing at a fish;
How she longed to swim with him,
Yet he seemed not as willing.
I sighed, feeling the sparrow's quiet heartache,
Then I suddenly saw his face;
He smiled ever so tenderly at me,
And his mere presence left me dazed.
Oh, how I wished to tell him
Just how much I care
But he seemed so far away to realize
That I was always gazing his way.
His arms, they were so strong!
I had always dreamed of having them around me.
And his eyes, oh his eyes! Were so kind…
I melted into them instantly.
Jyou.
His name, how it tickled my tongue!
His voice teased my ears
And sent pleasant shivers down my spine.
But…
He was lost in his own world;
He'll never know how much I care.
It would be impossible
To reach him…
A bird may desperately love a fish,
Yet…
How could they be together?
Well, what'dya think? I hope it wasn't insanely sappy…Anyway, I don't own Digimon or anything like it. It's just my made-up poem about 'em.
