Prologue

Notes: OK. Let me get this straight. Shenlonia is NOT a self-insertion. This part will explain who--no, what--Tsiao Shenlonia is. The next parts will be all about her journey into the real world, her meeting of the G-boys, etc. So there. I simply put Shenlonia in my name because it's pretty and besides, I based Shenlonia off of both myself and her first form.

Summary: Tsiao Shenlonia is a lost, confused girl who only knows one thing--she was born to all in love with Chang Wufei. How does she find her way? And why was she born to fall in love?

Pairings: 5+Meiran turned 5+Sally turned 5+Shenlonia

"I can't believe this happened...." Nataku (the goddess, mind you) paced back and forth. "How could I have let that happen? Meiran was the perfect vessel for my plan! There has to be some way to get my spirit back into the Dragon Clan after it was shooed away thousands of years ago! And now Meiran is dead, and I need somebody else to replace her and get back into the Clan. Problem is, only Wufei is left in the Clan...I'll need another to pursue his heart...again. Mars? Mars, where are you?"

The Greco-Roman god of war stepped onto the cloud that Nataku had just been pacing. "Yes, Nataku-sama?"

"Create another mortal for me, from the Wildcat Clan...the Tsiao family. I need a female...she needs to know nothing except that she has to find Chang Wufei. And make her whole purpose in life to find him and to fall in love with him."

"Chang Wufei? You mean that last living member of the Dragon Clan?"

"Yes, that Chang Wufei. He's the only way to make sure that all those who are bred therein are both warrior blood and dragon blood."

"Ah, I see. And here's one now...Tsiao Shenlonia. She's searching for her purpose in life--she's a loner, and her family doesn't accept both her artistic talent and her fighting skills. They want her to be an artist, she wants to be a warrioress. She's named Dragoness, and yet she's a wildcat. Perfect for our purpose, no?"

"Yes, yes, Mars...what an interesting choice, a dragoness from a clan of wildcats...thank you, blah blah blah...I will enter her mind tonight in a dream, to ensure that she believes her purpose. Nothing like being visited by a goddess in dream, no?"

"Agreed. Is that all you wish me for, Nataku-sama?"

"Yes. Now go. You have other business to attend to, if I'm not wrong." Mars nodded and left.

"Dearest Tsiao Shenlonia, Dragoness amongst Wildcats...." Nataku looked into the break in the cloud, from which she watched the dragoness. "I will come to you, and show you your path in life. You will never learn as to why, though...but once you do fall in love with my chosen dragon, you will be able to become myself. Ah, Shenlonia, what a life to lead...I now proclaim you Ron Meiran's reincarnation, with your purpose in life being to find and fall in love with the sole, solitary remaining dragon in this world. So mote it be." She snapped her fingers, and it became so.

Shenlonia shot up from her bed. "So that's why I was born...." she said, mystified. Her black hair was out of place from its normal pigtails, black eyes half-closed. "I must find Chang Wufei. No matter what it takes."
