Theres a silence on the front lines
He looked out over the battlefield in disgust, and once again cursed Shin-Ra Inc.
He attacked the air as if it was the evil company itself.
You can cut it with a knife.
He wanted to get away, but they found him again, every time he ran.
You can stay and take your chances, or you can run to save your life.
"Sir," The SOLDIER said, "they're retreating!"
One side is retreating...
His heart pounded, that meant he would soon have to return to HQ, God no...
And the others running scared
He glared at the scientist who returned the glare just as coldly as his 'son' entered the building.
And the drums of war are beating, even though it's undeclared.

"How much money was lost?" asked the old man. "Hey Hey Hey! NONE!" replied another.
And both sides say they're winning.
The young Vice President just stud in the corner with a look of disgusted. Another city, gone, destroyed.
But both sides know they're losing.
"You make me sick!" He yelled. "You'll be grateful when all this money is yours!"
And neither one knows what they're fighting for.
===============================================================
There's not enough money," said a tired man, "I'll have to take the job." "But Dad! You're better than that!" said a teenage boy with dark red hair.
Papa needs a new job.
So he's swallowing his pride.
The boy looked around the corner to see his father in tears.
Oh but it don't go down easy
And it eats him up inside.
His little sister wandered out of her bedroom. "Hey little one, why are you up?" the boy asked, looking at the thin figure dressed in rags like his own.
And momma she don't notice, little sisters ragged dress.
He looked back into the other room with his crying father, his mother sat across from him staring blankly.
Lately she don't notice, much of anything I guess.
The next night, he looked over at his sister, then handed her a piece off bread, the last bit of food in the house.
And they're fighting of the hunger, trying to keep from going under.
"DAMN!" his dad cried, "If we don't come up with the money by tomorrow they're gonna take the house!"
But the wolves just keep on gathering round the door.
"Sis," the boy said sadly, "you're gonna go stay with aunt Marcy for awhile, I know she's mean but..."
There's no place to run for cover.
"What?!" the girl cried. "I have to go away, I'm joining the Turks, so things will get better." the boy said. "NO! I wont go, how could you do this? I HATE you Reno!" the girl turned and ran from the room.
So they're turning on each other.
===============================================================
"Sephiroth," the scientist glared at him, "You're needed on the front line." "Another battle?" Sephiroth sighed and picked up his masamune.
There really aren't no winners anymore.
===============================================================
"Rufus, you're not here to understand! Your sole purpose is to run this company when I die!" the old man shouted. The teenage Vice President hid his tears, something he was well learned at. "I understand," Rufus said coldly.
Just victims in this Uncivil War.
===============================================================
Sephiroth stared out over another battlefield| Rufus looked out the window at the destruction below| The first shot rang out from Reno's gun, and hit its target, dead on.
There's a silence on the front lines, you can cut it with a knife, you can stay and take your chances, or you can run to save your life....
