Love Me Too

He watched her from a distance, it drove him crazy the way she tucked her hair away
from her eyes. It seemed to him that she must know every single thing she did made him
want her more. Maybe that's what married life does to you he thought. Maybe it drives
you more insane then you already were. The thought that he would get to come home to
her every night, to see her in her long tee shirt and socks in bed in the morning, to hear
her sing horribly in the shower, to watch her dance while she cooked, to watch her laugh at
the t.v., to hold her when she cried over a chick flic movie, agian, to be there when she
thought everything was wrong, to argue with her just to get to the making up part, to have
kids and watch them be exactly like her these were the things he married her for.
"Hey?"
"Huh, what's wrong."
"Nothing. You just seemed dazed and I just wanted to make sure this was still what
you wanted."
"Don't worry our wedding is tomorrow and I couldn't be happier with anything in my
life more than I am with you."
She smiled at him and then after a few seconds of just staring into those eyes of his
she asked him to do it.
"Can you propose agian? Please?"
When she gave him the look of a small puppy and that grin that drove him wild he
knew he would do anything for this woman. He kneeled down and smiled at her and gave
her the look that meant whatever happens from now on you're the only one for me.
"With every person I've ever met, there's always been bad and good things. With you,
you make me not want to see the bad or if I do just change it into something worth seeing.
I've never met someone who made me want to do that and I don't think I ever will. So, it
would be the stupidest move I ever made to let you go. I want to wake up every morning
with you in my arms, I wanna go to bed every night knowing you're there, and I wanna call
you during lunch just to say I love you, and I even would want to have the worst day of my
life as long as I know I'm with you. No-one has ever put something in me the way you do
and no-one has made me feel as alive as I feel when I'm with you. Every moment spent in
my life could be taken away as long as I know I spent every single moment I could with you.
Gracie, will you be Mrs. Hank Beechman?"
Grace Williamson smiled what she knew was one of her bigest smiles she had ever used
before. That was the speech she had longed for, for 6 years from him. He had done it while
on a picnic with her family after asking for her father's permission. She had cried and
gone into complete shock and had kissed him in front of everybody not even caring. Now
they were a day away from being married and all she could think about were the days after.
Nothing could ever get better than this.
