This poem was inspired by one of my favorite animes of all time - Gundam Wing. Pretty much deals with the whole thing. ^_^
Tainted Secrets
Deep in the depths
Of outer space
Secrets are kept
Lined with black lace
Secrets of a war
Once waged between men
And war always scars
Without and within
Innocence forever lost
Righteous still the same
Humanity was the cost
Righteous just the same
Confusion in the midst
Of this grand, black abyss
To be on death's dark list?
Without a farewell kiss!
Loves were lost and gained
Friendships given and taken
None shall be the same
Pure souls cruelly forsaken
Dire mistakes were made
Sweet forgiveness was granted
Dark memories forbade
Such feelings to be sanded
And to those who gained
A deep understanding
Their lives to be famed
For their comprehending
Dark dreams can be real
Bright ideals can be realized
Evil ambitions sealed
Pure souls will be idolized
There is more
Than what meets the eye
There are more
Hurdles to defy
Five random souls
United together
Five pleasing souls
Battling forever
Death plagued the endless abyss
Tainted with dark blood
Of those they will surely miss
With an endless flood
Their efforts were good
For the most part
Peace to be our food
For the most part
Man will be man
All has been said and done
Some like a lamb
Some rabid as the sun
But the endless abyss is quiet now
Battling long ago ceased
However, the dark blood still smells foul
Such beauty is now diseased
To dwell on it would be pointless
For these unfortunate five
Expected to be so selfless
Some grateful to be alive
But these lonely five still know

Harbored and kept by this now
