If mine would be the last

blood you spill and the last life you take,

then let this be the end.

...but I find I only want to protect you...

If mine would be the first tears

to touch your heart and soften your soul,

then I'll never cease my weeping.

...but I can't bare to see you sad...

If mine is the presence

that distracts you, enrages you, and pushes you beyond your limits,

then I'll make sure you never have to see me again.

..but I can't live without you...

But if we believe two souls can find a common ground,

A shared life...a shared peace...

for this hope I trust my soul in your hands.

...but I do not deserve this....
