Cho quickly rejoined the group of Ravenclaw girls, who were huddled together and giggling like crazy. One of them, a little brunette, stepped forwards, eyes sparkling with excitement.
- So, what did he say ?
Cho shrugged.
- He invited me to the Ball.
The girls exploded into a new fit of giggles.
-THE Harry Potter invited you to the Yule ball ? Then, what will you be wearing for the occasion ?
She raised an eyebrow.
- Who said I said Yes ?
The other girls gasped.
- What ? Harry Potter asked you, and you didn't say Yes ?
- Well, I'm not really interested in him.
The girls' eyes widened. A tall blonde with glasses spoke up.
- Well, if I were you, be sure I wouldn't be wasting such an occasion.
Cho seemed to fall deep into thoughts for a second.
- Yeah, you're probably right, I could use it. Just perhaps toy with him for a while, you know.
- What about Cedric ?
The dark haired girl laughed.
- Cedric ? He's a cute and kind boy, but definitively not the one for me !
She flashed a smile, and walked pass her friends, in the direction of the library. A girl named Samantha sighed.
- I so wish I could be like her … Boys are falling all over her, and she doesn't even seem to care !
- She's just so popular, she can allow herself everything, and she even is good in class !
- Not as good as that Granger girl, thought.
The same little brunette frowned.
- Yeah, she only classes fifth. Well, that's not too bad.
- At least she's not as ugly as that bookworm.
Her friends nodded in agreement, and on common approval, made their
way to the library.
