Rei walked down the hallway toward Yucchrio's room. She patted her pocket just to make sure it was still there. She stuck the colorfully wrapped present behind her back as she opened the door. Yucchiro looked up from his desk where he had been writing. "Rei-chan," he said suprised. "What do you need?" "Nothing," she said as she stepped over the shaggy haired Yuicchiro and leaned in for a kiss. Yucchiro responded with his own lips and traced her chin with his finger.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Yucchiro," said Rei, handing the package to him. "I know we said we wouldn't celebrate such a trival holiday, but I finally got this and......" Yucchiro looked down to the package in hand. He couldn't believe this was happening. All he had given up to come work at the temple just to win the affection of this raven-haired beauty. Now his dreams of her love were coming true. They had been dating for a while now, and it had been bliss.
He snapped back to reality by Rei. "Well, open it." He nodded and began to tear at the paper. He opened the box inside to find a wooden heart-shaped picture frame. Inside of that was a picture of the two kissing in the park. He chuckled. Rei had nearly killed her friends for spying on them and Usagi even more for bringing her camera. He almost wished he could have gotten a picture of Rei running after her to get the film. He looked back up at Rei. "I hope you like. I had to promise Usagi my manga collection to get it....." He put the picture on the desk, grabbed Rei and pressed his lips against hers for a kiss that made Rei moan in pleasure.
"I love it," he said, caressing her hair. Suddenly his face fell. "What's wrong?" asked Rei, looking concerned. "Rei-chan, I didn't get you anything." He turned to head for the door to go do his daily chores. He made up his mind that he would have to go find the most perfect gift to win her love.
Rei grabbed his hand and turned him toward her. "You don't have to give me anything. I have my gift right here." She quickly pulled out a pair scissors from her pocket. She gently picked up Yucchiro's bangs and clipped them just to right abover his eyebrows. She brushed the loose hairs from his face. At last she could see what was kept hidden from the rest of the world. She stared at the gorgeous blue pools that would outshine the water of the Carribean. She smiled at the suprise and confusion on the sweet, puppy dog face. "I have what I want." She stroked his face. "I love you, Yucchiro."
She looked at the clock on the wall and realized she was late for school. She quickly ran out the door saying her goodbye's. Yucchiro picked up the picture and went to the mirrow to see his new look. He laughed at the face in the mirror and ran his hand over the image in the picture frame.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Rei," he said as he sat the picture back on the desk. He started out of the room to go do his daily chores at the temple, seeing the world in a different light.
