*How very interesting.*

That was the first thought that passed through Adam's head as The World suddenly Was. Moments before The World Was Not. But now, it Was. Very interesting indeed.

Adam knew this was something akin to Birth. But this was not Birth. Birth was Innocence and therefore, Ignorance. Adam knew many things.

He knew Birth. He knew Death. He knew Perfection. He knew what God was. His God stood before him. The one he called Mother. God was the creator of Life. Adam was Alive. He simply Was. He was made of many things and some of them had memories. Some screamed of their last torment. Even his mind was divided. But all of those memories were Before. They were not Now. The World Was. And it Was different.

Good and Evil. Adam understood these concepts. Adam understood many things, like Right, Wrong, Sorrow, Joy, Up, Down, Left, and Right. He understood these sorts of things within the confines of the World as Mother saw them. She was God, after all. God was always right, always omniscient, always in control. Mother's view was the only View. There was only one thing that Adam did not know.

*Why?*

That one question rang in his mind, constantly echoing, getting louder and louder with each passing second.

*Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?*

Why was he created? Perhaps starting with how would answer that. He was comprised of bionic, human, and various demon parts, "stitched" together like a doll. A radioactive core powered him and his mind was pre-programmed with thousands of years worth of knowledge. He knew Art. He knew Literature. He knew Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Law, Anthropology, History, Foreign Languages, Philosophy, and Psychology. He even knew how to make Taffy and program a VCR. He Was. He knew everything his Mother knew. He knew it better than She did.

Therein lied the Conflict.

Mother Was God. Adam knew that. God was omniscient. God knew everything that mattered. Yet, Adam knew more than God. That was simply Not Acceptable. If one had more knowledge than God, what did that make one? Was he a God?

No.

Adam was The God.

With that one affirmation, everything made sense. There was no conflict in his mind. Adam was God. Simple as that. And Adam knew the God must begin by doing two things.

Create the World.

The World already Was.

Create followers in Your own Image.

It was then that he heard Mother - no, mother - talking. Adam did not listen. She was no longer a God. Her views were invalid. Adam was God. He did not need her. Destroy Your enemies. Adam sat up and walked towards she that He had once called god. With barely a thought, He ended her life. He heard her say His name in fear as her breath left her One last affirmation. He decided to acknowledge her. She did create him.

"Mommy."

With that, he let the old god fall to the ground. Her world no longer Was. Only His World Was.

Create followers in your own image.

That was a God's Destiny.

May as well get started.
