The doorbell ringing woke TK Takaishi; groggily he made his way to the door. "Maybe it's Kari," he thought happily, but was surprised when he opened the door and there stood Jun Motomiya. "Uh, hi Jun," TK said awkwardly.
"Is Matt here?" She asked. TK looked out into the hall for awhile before answering.
"No, I'm sorry he's not" He said. There was an almost sad look on Jun's face as she listened to TK's answer. "Oh well, that's ok" she said as she head toward the stairs.
"Jun wait!" TK yelled down the hall, as he walked down toward her. "Do you want to come in or something?" Jun stared blankly at him for a moment then shrugged, "Sure why not." TK smiled as he led her into the apartment.
The two of them sat drinking orange juice at the kitchen table. "So, Jun why exactly did you want to talk to Matt?" TK asked. Jun took a long drink before answering.
"Well, I wanted to tell him that I realize that I don't have a chance with him, so I wanted to see id we could just be friends," TK sat stunned, Jun who had been obsessed with Matt for almost a year, now just wanted to be his friend, boy would Matt be relieved.
"Hey TK, why does Matt hate me?" Now TK was dumbfounded, she thinks Matt hates her. "Well I don't think he hates you, I think maybe you just come on to strong sometimes." Jun nodded, she glanced at the clock, she had been there almost two hours. "well I should get going" she said, heading for the door. TK stood to go let her out. "I'll um, tell Matt you came by ok?"
"Sure" Jun said smiling, "Hey TK,"
"Yeah?"
"I had a really nice time talking to you today." Tk looked at her, "Yeah me too" he replied. "Bye TK" Jun said as she left. "Bye" TK said as he shut the door. He smiled, Jun wasn't as bad as he had originally thought, in fact he kind of liked the idea of having Jun as a friend. Later he would tell Matt what Jun had to say.
It was kind of weird, he had always thought of Jun as kind of a weirdo, but now that he had given her a chance, he realized she wasn't so bad, he under stood now that you shouldn't judge people because who knows they could actually , be nice people, and in this case it turned out he was right.
