Hiro Needs a Friggin Lock
by Rune

Kiyo walked down the stairs, which were shrouded in darkness. She thought she heard a voice telling her to leave as she continued walking, soon she reached the cellar door. 'This is it', she thought, 'It ends now.' She opened the door and fo-

"Hiro!" Quatre yelled out as he walked into the unlighted room, "How are you doing?"

Hiro swiveled his chair away from his computer and stared at Quatre. "I'm trying to write," he said in his usual monotone voice, "Go away."

"Come on, buddy," Quatre pleaded, "We never talk anymore."

Hiro kept staring.

"Just a little conversation?"

Staring.

"Okay, I get the message," Quatre sighed, "See you."

Hiro swiveled his chair back into place and began typing.

-und emptiness. She sighed and began to leave when she heard a creaking noise. "Who's there?" she called out, "Come out now!" There was no reply. The blue-haired detective slowly sneaked into the cellar, making sure that-

"YO HIRO!"

"Dammit, Duo," he Hiro snarled, "I'm trying to write."

"Cool, cool," Duo said, "I just need to borrow something."

"What?"

"Well, you wouldn't happen to have a high-energy fuse lying around, would ya? Hilde's building something and she needs one."

"In the closet. Now get the hell out."

"Okay, see ya buddy!"

"Oh Hiro!" Relena cried as she ran through the door and embraced the gundam pilot, "I've missed you so much."

"Dammit, woman, how many times do I have to tell you never to sneak up on me?" Hiro growled, "Now go away."

"Oh Hiro, you're still the same. What's that on your computer?"

"Nothing. Now get out."

"You're writing a story!" the princess announced happily, "I always knew you could channel your anger into something creative!"

Hiro calmly stood up and shoved Relena out of his apartment.

"I'll come back another time, okay?"

"Dammmit, I need a friggin lock."

-a humongous figure jumped out and attacked her. It swung a monstrous axe, which missed by a hair. The detective fired her revolver at it, with no effect. The figure threw Kiyo to the floor and was about to bring his axe down when-

"Wufei, get your ass out of here before I beat the crap out of you."

"I've come for a favor," Wufei said, ignoring Hiro's previous threat, "I request that you fight me hand-to-hand to determine who is truly the strongest warrior."

Hiro turned around, stood up, slammed a nearby chair on Wufei's head, and threw him out the window of the apartment.

"Friggin people," the gundam pilot muttered while he sat back at his computer, "Jean-Paul Sartre was right..."

-when a blast of gunfire tore through him and knocked him into a wall, killing him instantly. "John!" Kiyo cried out, "Thanks!" John smiled and lowered his rifle. "Let's go home," he said.
