Title: If I Didn't
Rating: PG (only because it's slightly slashy)
Summary: Aeryn and Gilina. That's all that can be said.
Spoilers: Umm... There's not really any.
Feedback: Please. I can't get enough.
Disclaimer: I wish I could say these characters are mine.... Well, I could, but that would infringe on copyrights and get me in lots of trouble. So, these characters do not belong to me, they never have, but I hope that some day, they will. At the moment, however, they belong to Jim Henson Productions, the SciFi Channel, Nine Networks, and Hallmark Entertainment. I'm not getting anything from this story besides the enjoyment of writing it and, hopefully, other people's enjoyment when they read it. Even though the characters don't belong to me, the story does. © Rehanna, 1999-2001
A/N: I worked on this as I tried to write an answer to a 55 word challenge (as mentioned in "Forever") and this is one of the two that was short enough. (It's 39 for anyone who was thinking about counting) I lost it for a year, found it, and now I'm posting it.
"Aeryn," Gilina said softly to the shadow at her side.
"Hmm?"
"Do you love me?"
"Would I be here if I didn't?"
"I don't know, that's why I asked."
"Yes."
"'Yes' to which?"
"You know to which," came the reply.
