At The Park

Disclaimer: I DO NOT own the X-files. So there!

Thanks: To my Beta reader Erin Cale. Also to my dear friend Katy, who I have borrowed for these fics.

Notes: This is a Sequel to "A Conversation Between Scully, Doggit, And Katy Henslowe".

"You know what Walter? I could have worked at the FBI too, but I am to good for that." Walter Skinner smiled as his girl friend bragged. By now he was used to her saying such things. He kept quiet, knowing that it was pointless to try and get a word in. "I had an interesting dream last night..." Skinner was barely able to suppress a moan. //not another of Katy's dreams//. "Well, I was being sent to this weird military school where they taught knitting and then Kai from Lexx got drunk so I made him pancakes. When he ate them he was like..." Skinner tuned her out as he walked, instead enjoying the beautiful park landscape as the walked.

In due course they past by a woman who was using crumbs of bread to feed a large group of pigeons. Katy looked at the particles of bread that peppered the pavement, her eyes taking on an air of slightly crazy excitement. Skinner tightened his hand on Katy's arm as he dragged her past the bread crumbs.

"Foooooooooooooooooooooood" She cried kicking and screaming all the way. Skinner turned pink with embarrassment. Did she always have to act like this? Katy finally returned to her almost normal demeanor as they walked. She laughed to see that her lover was still blushing profusely. "My darling beloved, you are almost as pink as your Speedo." She remarked. "Now my dear, are you going to feed me or not?" She spoke in a high pitched, cartoon voice causing Skinner to laugh out loud.

"Of course," was Skinner's reply. "What would you like?"

"Ketchup!" Katy said immediately. Skinner rolled his eyes.

"And will you be having anything with your Ketchup?" Katy seemed to think for a moment.

"Three giant hamburgers, and four ice creams." She said simply. Skinner returned her slightly silly grin. This was typical Katy. Katy leaned over, placing a ketchup flavored but none the less sweet kiss on Skinner's mouth. "I love you." She whispered. Skinner patted her hand.

"I love you too."
