"Mixed Emotions"
note: I do not own or claim to own any Rurouni Kenshin characters.
This is a poem about Seta Soujirou... (my fav. character! =^-^=)
Please, enjoy!
Long I've meant to see you hiding in this face,
Hidden all that is true banishing discrace,
While long a time it has been, since we've been right here,
My hope for naught within, I've been hiding in my fear.
I know I've done no wronge, you see that must be true,
But sinned I have along, I was hiding behind you.
The frightened child gently cries, hiding in my chest,
As my foe violently dies, and finds forever rest.
The rain came in torrents then, now a crimson red,
And beneath my shaking fingers where the bodies of the dead.
What good could come of "he who kills?" my spirit scared and meak,
My thurst then for a better life, but what's wronge with being weak?
I know it must be wrong for me to think the way I do,
But with this simple philosophy, my fate I follow through.
All I know is simply this: The stronger must survive.
But then there is the trouble, here: the weaker must then die.
