Here's an introduction of Electra in DEATH BATTLE style. Enjoy.
David: Despite growing up in the most crime-filled neighborhood of Dakota City with her twin brother Virgil, Ember Hawkins was a pretty good kid.
David: She spent her time playing video games, listening to music, and helping fix electric appliances. But she had one problem. Bullies. I always hate bullies for ruining people's day.
David: During school, she was frequently harassed by local gang leader, Francis Stone. Ember's only refuge was one of her brother's few friends, Larry Wade.
David: Larry convinced Ember there was only one way to get rid of Francis for good. Join his own gang. However, things got a little intense, and Ember didn't like it at all. She was about to bail.
David: But the damage was already done. The police arrived and released a massive canister of what seemed to be tear gas, but wasn't.
David: It was actually some experimental gas, which was supposed to tag each gang member so the cops could track them down later, but it was actually laced with radioactive Quantum Juice which killed almost everybody. I hate character deaths!
David: Luckily, Ember was one of the few people who survived, but the Quantum Juice still had an effect.
David: You could say she was 'shocked' to find out what it did. HAHA!
David: Yes, she began to develop electrical powers. Before this, Ember always wanted to help people, but now she was able to help a lot of people and became the superheroine, Electra.
Electra: You're in for a big shock!
Background
- Real Name: Ember Hawkins
- Age: 14
- Aliases: Sparky, E, Fly Girl, and Livewire Wannabe
- Aplha-level Metahuman
- Dislikes: Guns, Bullies, and people getting hurt
- Member of the Justice League
- Hobbies: Video Games, Music, and Physics
David: Heck yeah! With these new powers, she was unstoppable. She can fire electric bolts at her enemies, make balls of electricity called Taser Balls, and use her electricity to power her punches which can cause shocking damage called Zap Punch.
David: But she's not just good with shocking people. Electra can alter the electron attraction of any object or surface. She can create extremely durable electric force fields that block most attacks. She can even telekinetically move objects by firing multiple electric bolts at them like a young version of Livewire.
David: And can use her electric powers to take to the sky. By focusing her electric powers through the bottom of her feet she can use them like rockets with an electric bolt coming out of each foot, allowing her to fly. Think about it, do you wish that you could fly like that?
David: Turning superhuman overnight caught Ember a bit off guard. But after a few speed-bumps, she became a well-known superheroine throughout the city of Dakota.
Electric Powers
Electrokinesis
Crackle Bolts
Electron Grip
Electric Burst
Shock Coil
Impulse Disruption
Electric Barriers
Mechanokinesis
Electromagnetism
Static Electricity
Can become electric energy
David: Electrokinesis is far more versatile than you think. The blood in your body has electrolytes, the air has traces of electrons, electronics have electrical functions, and the brain can even generate electricity which is enough to power a lightbulb. The nerves are like telephone lines, carrying messages from the brain, telling muscles like the heart to beat. Duck-Billed Platypuses can use electroreception to navigate through dark murky waters without using sight, smell, and hearing. Electricity can even start a fire, generate heat, and produce light.
David: Electra was always one step ahead of herself. She learned how to control the electrons in a person's blood, and how to make people glow. You may wonder what's that got to do with shocking people. Well, that would be her ability to detect bio-electric auras.
Electra can use her powers to teleport by traveling through electricity and electronics. She can also manipulate electron particles through her electrokinesis to change her clothing at will.
David: Electra can also create electric whips to electrocute her enemies called Shock Coils, disrupt the electrical impulses of others, and can heal herself by charging with electricity, which accelerates the healing of her cells.
David: She can even reattach her severed limbs with shock power! I'm not kidding! Who knew electricity can do that?!
Feats
- Charged the Justice League's Watchtower
- Melted 2,000 tons of ice
- Can telepathically communicate with someone by using electricity
- Matched Madelyn Spaulding's telekinesis
- Enter machines to force them to perform actions according to her will
- Survived being punched by her own Zap Punch
- Run on electrical power lines
- Defeated Ebon, Joker, Livewire
David: Clearly, Electra has a lot of power with electricity.
David: She can survive being punched by her own Zap Punch, lift hundreds of tons, and can melt a huge chunk of ice in just a couple of seconds.
David: She can use that power to melt metal, start a fire, and produce heat that's around 6 times hotter than the surface of the sun. Electra can even see the memories of other people by suppressing or redirecting the electrical signals in the brain.
David: She's able to resurrect by restarting a person's heart or reviving their dead nerve cells by applying electric energy.
David: Absorb electricity and redirect them, including lightning.
David: And can even transform herself into living electricity to transport herself as an electric current and enter electrical cables.
David: She can summon a powerful lightning bolt directly from the sky, travel through wires, and can use her electric powers to run at lightning speed.
David: She can use her electrical powers to deliver a painful shock to her enemies on contact by releasing an extreme electrical current or simulate an electric shock by manipulating the electric currents inside of a person from a distance instead of contact. She can even release a powerful burst of electricity from her hands that can short-circuit electronic components and temporarily paralyze her enemies. She can also release electricity in tiny short bursts to cause stimulation, pain, or discomfort to her enemies by touching them.
David: Electra can even control the electrical energy generated by the Earth.
David: Dang, and I thought electricity can just shock people or cause a fire. But...
David: Her electricity manipulation could play tug of war with Madylen Spaulding's telekinesis. That's really impressive for what electricity can do than just melt ice.
Electra can use her electric powers to create storms with both lightning and thunder.
David: However, despite Electra's incredible power, insulators are her kryptonite, and she can run out of juice if she pushes herself too much.
Originally, Electra possessed a huge weakness to water, but she eventually overcame it when she got her powers back in Power Outage.
David: However, even without her powers, she's a very skilled fighter, who's good at martial arts, gymnastics, and combat. Heck, she was good enough to join the Justice League. I guess even Ember herself was 'shocked' to see how powerful she really is.
Electra: Electra!
I forgot to mention, Livewire may be afraid of water and doesn't do boats, Electra's different. Despite her vulnerability to water, this doesn't make Electra afraid of water, and she wouldn't hesitate to go on a boat. She wouldn't let water stop her from saving the day. Her powers are also stronger than Static's since she has the same techniques Livewire has. Anyway, Please Review.
