Ninth returning Jump Girl for Month of Pink; Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho.

Genkai watched on as her apprentice continued with his training. She was glad to see that Yusuke was still taking his training seriously, even after everything. Off to the side she noticed that Yukina was watching on, but it seemed that something was troubling her.
She heard a sigh escape Yusuke, who then turned to Yukina.
"Don't you have something better to do?" demanded Yusuke, earning a narrowed look from the pink-haired master.
The ice girl fidgeted as she avoided eye contact. "I'm s-sorry, it's j-just…"
"Look…I get it. I miss her too."
Genkai raised an eyebrow at this. Ah, so they were talking about her then.
"You…You don't look like you do though," replied Yukina with a slight frown.
A grunt came from Yusuke as he turned back to what he was doing. "Trust me, I do. But I'm not going to just sit around and mope about it. The old hag would probably kick my ass if I did."
That got a smirk of amusement from Genkai as she continued to listen.
"So…this is a form of grieving?" questioned Yukina, tilting her head slightly.
"Pretty much," said Yusuke as he performed his katas. "Helps keep my mind focused."
"…Do you think I should do something like that? Find a different way to grieve?"
"Couldn't hurt," replied the boy with a shrug.
"I wonder what Kazuma would say."
Genkai glanced over at Yusuke to find a grimace on his face.
"Kuwabara is the last person you should be talking with about this," started Yusuke. "With how into you he is, he's more likely to coddle you than help you."
The old woman couldn't disagree with that. Kuwabara was so smitten with Yukina that he treated her like a glass flower to the point that she really wished that she knocked some sense into him before she passed. It was a good thing that Yukina was so pure-hearted; otherwise Kuwabara would have been easily manipulated.
She turned back to where Yukina was to see her stand and walk over to a now confused Yusuke.
"If I need another outlet for my grief, would you be willing to train me then?"
That surprised both master and student with Yusuke answering immediately.
"Not a chance! No offense, Yukina, but you're not fighter material. With your personality, you're more suited as a healer or something along those lines. Besides, I don't need Hiei on my ass because his little sister got hurt training."
Genkai just rolled her eyes while Yukina couldn't help but giggle.
The old woman floated up into the air, ready to head back to the afterlife. She just wanted to check on Yusuke and she was satisfied that he was doing well. He was even helping Yukina with her own grief, now telling her that he'll talk to Botan about looking into finding someone who could teach her healing spells.
Before she left, she looked back down towards them and couldn't keep the proud smile off her face.
"You've grown into a fine young man, Yusuke."

Even in death, Genkai's that one grandma who will still worry about her kids, even if she won't show it.
