"Now hold still," Langa spoke as he placed a bandage on Reki's scratched up arm, the other teen grumbling in response.

This had to be the hundredth time Reki fell or got injured from skateboarding.

It certainly won't be the last, either.

"Yeah, yeah, I know what you're gonna say - you shouldn't be so reckless, I told you, and all that," Reki replied, and he winced as Langa smoothed the bandage over the fresh cut.

It hurt, but then looking at Langa, Reki didn't feel as winded or hurt as he did earlier.

Langa pulled back, and an amused smile grew on his face. "I was going to ask if you're feeling better," he replied, sitting himself next to Reki on the ground.

Reki blinked, and then crossed his arms in a huff. "Well I am, thanks for asking," He then looked down on his arms, littered with band-aids and bandages, and he nodded again. "Yup, I'm A-okay, thanks to you." He then looked up at Langa, giving a bright grin.

Langa returned the other teen's grin. "Well, I learned from the best, but you already knew that."

"Not gonna lie, one of these does look sloppy."

"Really? Where?" Langa leaned forward, even closer to Reki, and the other boy pointed to the bandage near his left elbow.

"Right here."

"Oh, that's not that bad." Langa answered back, getting up to his feet. "Besides, there's more skating to do. That is, if you're up for it," He lent out his hand, right front of Reki.

The grin still on his features, Reki took Langa's hand, and he jumped up to his feet.

"Bring it on!"
