Soun Tendou sat at the bar and sipped his drink. The seminar just refused to end. What was the use? He thought to himself. Why did he even care about a martial arts seminar? It was not as if he ever intended to teach again. There were too many memories.

His family had forced it on him. They thought that a vacation in Hawaii would help him recover from his loss. (Or at least they wouldn't have to listen to his incessant bawling for a few days.) But what could possibly make him forget her.

Soun began to cry again. Many of the other patrons looked at him with a mixture of pity and disgust. Someone placed a hand on his shoulder. In surprise, he turned to see a beautiful, blonde, gaijin woman. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but you looked upset," she said, smiling, "and, well, misery loves company."

"Soun?"

Soun Tendou looked up from his paper. "Yes, Dear. What is it?" He asked.

"Do you know a Genma Saotome?"

"Why yes, an old friend of mine. Why?" he asked puzzled.

His wife handed him a postcard. "This just came," she said.

Soun took the post card and read it. His eyes bulged with excitement. "Ranma." he whispered. "At last, Ranma is coming!" Overwhelmed with emotion, he burst into tears.

"Is everything all right dear?"

"Oh yes! Every thing is wonderful! I have to tell the girls. This is fantastic!" Soun rushed upstairs to the girls' rooms, calling their names. "Kasumi! Marcia! Nabiki! Jan! Akane! Cindy! Come down stairs I have a family announcement to make!"
