Be careful when you walk through the woods of Sleepy Hollow at night
Because something is lurking in its forest, waiting to give you a big fright
There, among the mist and trees rides a specter in search for his head
And if he can't find it, maybe he'll take yours instead
His name is The headless horseman, Sleepy Hollow's most infamous specter
And I can promise you one thing, he's way more terrifying than Hannibal Lecter
He's wearing an armor and a cloak as dark as the night
And in his hand, he's wearing a Jack-O-Lantern that is shining bright
He once was a Hessian soldier who got hit by a cannonball
This made him fall of his horse, and it also made his head to fall
Now, he rides through the night on a quest to find his missing head
If you happen to run into him, you better run or else you'll end up dead
A man named Ichabod Crane met him many, many years ago
When the moon was full and no wind blow
And poor Ichabod never forgot this night
Because when he gazed upon the headless specter, he almost died of fright
If you don't believe what I say is true
Take a trip to the village of Sleepy Hollow, but, I'm warning you
Because if you do, you might never be seen alive again
Because The headless horseman spares no one's life my dear friend.
