ok so I found the CYOA while writing the next chapter of reincarnated again and thought hey why the hell not play within the rules of the game. Then I thought hey why not put this up with the other fanfic. So here we go I'll also include all the choices I made in the ending note but here we go!

If you were to stumble across a choose your own adventure in the middle of the night on reddit, what would you do? Would you ignore it? Would you bookmark it? Well, me the idiot that I am chose to do it. And for my troubles I ended up getting the full effect of being put into my choices. Now granted things could be worse I could have not been a coward and done it with a hard mode. Then again, I could have also not chosen to have Eden be alive, admittedly nerfed along with scion from unkillable gods to nigh unkillable aliens.

"Please somebody!"

What did I want out of that CYOA again? Oh, that's right, a wish fulfillment for my teenage self. Then again, I basically turned myself into all for one with my powers. Though I did choose to have a good alignment, can I change that through my actions or is it set in stone? Well then again I'm also kind of peter Petrelli.

"Somebody! Can anyone hear me?! Just let me out! Help!"

Ok yeah should really get to work breaking Taylor out of this locker and making sure her life doesn't get worse at least to the point she doesn't go Khepri to stop scion. And I guess Eden…huh I'm starting to think reviving Eden was a bad idea. Looking around I start to wonder why I didn't get a thinker power to help me strategize when my eyes land on the only usable thing in the hallway, a fire extinguisher. Running over I pull the metal container from the wall and rush back to the locker I heard Taylor screaming from. Quickly I lifted up the fire extinguisher over my head and slammed it into the locker. In doing so I did manage to break the lock off but I also buried the fire extinguisher in the neighboring locker while it spued out carbon dioxide from a hole in its side.

"Well that was unexpected…Oh right super strength." I said chastising myself for forgetting with a face palm. Seeing as how the best option for this would be to just take the door off I lightly push my hands through the seams on both sides. Its not like what I thought having super strength would be like, the metal scrunched and folded with light resistance to my pushing like paper against my fingers. Lightly I pulled on the locker door hoping not to cause any more trauma to Taylor inside. With the loud snap of the metal hinges I tossed the door to my side, though guessing by the loud crash and scraping of wood I heard I think I may have over done it.

Finally, I met eyes with Taylor Hebert a light blue aura emanating from her, thankfully not coming from her powers but much rather mine giving me information about her powers. She triggered which actually does explain why she stopped screaming. As quickly as I took her in, her eyes closed and she fell out of the biohazard that was the locker into my arms. The first thing that I noticed were all the bugs on her.

Now I won't claim that I wasn't creeped out by them because I was, but I acted quickly and copied Taylor's powers—the same ones from the canon story. The first thing I did was command the bugs back into the locker and off of me and Taylor, the second was think that if my new biology would have allowed it, I would have thrown up.

Reaching into my pocket I pulled out my phone and dialed in three simple numbers 9-1-1.

"Hello nine one one what is the nature of your emergency?" the nine one one operator asked.

"Yes, I need an ambulance and I'm guessing a biohazardous waste disposal team? Oh, I'm at Winslow high school by the way." I say to the operator

"Ok paramedics are on their way; now can you tell me anything else about what happened?" the nine one one operator asked.

"Yeah, there was a girl trapped in a locker with a bunch of garbage, I managed to get her out but she's unconscious now."

"Do you know who was responsible for trapping the girl in the locker?"

Now here Is where I have to make a real choice that can butterfly cannon either for the best or the worse. Do I tell the police what I know? Emma Barnes was an absolutely deplorable person in the worm story, but I don't think she is entirely beyond redemption especially if I can get her in the right state of mind. Sophia Hess on the other hand I am totally willing to throw under the bus and get her kicked out of the wards or barring that some kind of investigation, plus pissing someone like her off is just my bread and butter.

"I heard her screaming about some girl named Sophia. The only Sophia I know of Is Sophia Hess." I say with a light smirk as I hear sirens approaching the school. "The ambulance is here thank you." I say as I hang up the phone. And with that I've butterflied canon all the way to the seventh circle of hell where it belongs.

"What da hell?" I heard one of the paramedics say as I turned to look at them, when I suddenly understood what the paramedic was talking about. That locker door that I had meant to lightly toss to the side…was buried halfway into the door of the hallway. Fucking superstrength.

"Over here!" I say waving them over. Once they're close enough to me, I gently hand off Taylor to them—suddenly more self-conscious about my own strength. I take a step back as they begin to examine her. After a few seconds pass the paramedics load her onto a stretcher and begin to walk away when I decide to reassert my presence.

"Can I come with?" honestly, I don't know why I asked, no that's a lie I know exactly why I asked it's because I want to be there when she finally wakes up.

The two paramedics look at each other a silent debate between them finally broken when one of them looks to the door and then to me. "If you're coming hurry and don't slow us down any more." He said as they began to sprint off, and of course I followed.

The ambulance ride wasn't what I thought it would be, but then again, I thought I'd be sitting off to the side while they looked her over and not the two of them asking me questions about how I got Taylor out of the locker. But they already knew how they just wanted confirmation.

"So how is it that you managed to open up that locker?"

"Yeah, buck not the thing I'm worried about with this. how exactly did she get in the locker?" the heavyset paramedic asked.

Ah here we go again lying to adults a proud childhood tradition "I'm not sure like I told the nine one one operator I heard her screaming about a girl named Sophia, and the only one I can think of is Sophia Hess she's was mean to her in the past so maybe it was her?" I said feigning ignorance. Evidently, I'm not that good of an actor because the paramedic didn't buy for a second that I wasn't certain it was Sophia.

Finally the sirens stopped as we walked into the hospital, and all honesty I was a little embarrassed as this was my first time coming into a hospital like this, that is from an ambulance when I'm not the one in distress.

Quickly everyone disembarked from the ambulance into the hospital as we were met by a doctor and some nurses…I think I've never really seen a doctor show I'm kind of squeamish. Maybe shouldn't have chosen such a gory superhero world to reincarnate into.

"who's that her brother?" a nurse asked

"nope" buck said popping the P.

"then why'd you bring him along?"

"because I don't think we would have been able to stop him if we tried." The paramedic said with a tone that basically told everyone who heard it I was a parahuman. Honestly secret identity doesn't matter that much to me but it might to Taylor so I'm kind of peeved at the moment as I'm told to sit and stay in the waiting room. I think I hate hospitals.

—Taylor Hebert—

Hazel brown eyes.

Its strange what you first think about when you wake up. I remember screaming for someone anyone to help, then nothing except for those eyes. The same eyes that are looking on from a chair to my side.

"I'd say you shouldn't satire but that would make me a hypocrite." He said it with some kind of smug confidence like he knew some kind of inside joke that he was laughing at me for.

"w-where am I?" I asked almost not wanting to know, maybe I had died, maybe I was taken, maybe it didn't matter and

"you're in the hospital, your dad's out in the hallway talking with the police and a school administrator about arresting your bully. Actually let me rephrase that your dad is having a nervous break down trying to read the school the riot act while the police are watching to make sure a fight doesn't break out." He said again with a smug tone that made me think of Emma's from the past few months when she knew something was happening because she made it happen

Bullies? Sophia. Emma. Madison. The locker. Dad. Dad knew about the trio. This boy knew about the trio. Who was this boy? Why is he here?

"why are you here?" I asked through a few heavy breaths obviously

"I got you out of the locker, and told the police about who put you there." He said as he scrunched his libs into a kind of frowning smile, like he was proud of what he did but still sad about it. Now that I'm really paying attention to him I can tell that it wasn't smugness that I heard in his voice it was satisfaction. He was a rather unassuming looking guy aside from the tousled curls of his hair and admittedly good looking face.

Pushing myself up to face the boy I felt the blankets covering me slide off and I felt a light breeze. His face went red within a few seconds as he turned his face away, covering it with his hand. Oh no

"y-you might want to stay under the covers. They had to take your clothes away because of the biohazard." He said for the first time in our exchange being nervous

I looked down hoping that it wasn't true, that I was still fully clothed and didn't just flash the boy who pulled me out of that locker. I think I would have rather died in that locker.

He turned to face the wall his hand still over his eyes as he began to fumble looking for something without his sight. Finally after a minute of him searching blind he found what he was looking for and presented to me a folded up hospital gown in his hands. "this is for you."

Slowly I took the gown from him unfolding it and putting it on, as I did I realized I looped all the way around from too embarrassed to think all the way back to calm.

"i-ill leave." He said all previous satisfaction and smugness replaced by pure embarrassment and shyness. Just as he made for the door it opened revealing not just my father but also a uniformed officer and the vice principle of Winslow

"oh right yeah this is a thing. do I have to stay? Or should I go? Or should I…" he trailed off as if someone finally told him how much he sticks his foot in his mouth, though given by the look he was giving to my father I think he might have just been worried about him finding out I flashed him. The heat of my embarrassment returned with a vengeance.

"I think it would be best if we spoke to the two of you separately." The officer said a bit of exasperation in his voice, like he knew what was coming was going to be more trouble than it was worth. Admittedly it was a tone I had become all to familiar with from the staff at Winslow.

The boy—I still hadn't learned his name—looked back to me a sort of strained pity on his face. I don't know whether I felt more mad or insulted by the pity in his eyes no matter how small it was. "hey do you mind if I talk to her alone? She just woke up and I kind of have something I want to say to her." He asked the officer, who surprisingly enough looked over to me for an answer, and with nothing else to do I just shrugged. I mean what could he possibly have to say that would make this situation worse.

"ok ill give the two of you a minute or two to get your introductions and thank you's done with. Ill be right outside the door, if you need something just shout." The officer said distinctly aiming the last part at me as he motioned the other adults to follow him out of the room. Once the door closed the boy let out a laugh "I didn't think that'd actually work." He said as he walked back over to me.

"so what else do you have to tell me about?" I asked suspicious of what exactly it is that he was trying to hide from the adults?

"your trigger event." He said so matter a factly that I had to do a double take.

"I'm sorry I think I-" I started to say before he interrupted "you didn't miss hear me. You had a trigger event in the locker before I managed to get you out." He said it—his arrogant tone returning—so certainly that I almost questioned my own lack of powers, but I knew from reading PHO what having a power should feel like.

"I'm sorry but I don't ha-" he cut me off once again "you do I'm suppressing it right now because if I wasn't you wouldn't have been in control of your faculties till you learned to deal with your quite frankly bullshit power which would have quite frankly taken you a while especially considering the surprise you would have experienced from." Even as he continued to talk I eyed him suspiciously and he definitely noticed as he gave an exasperated sigh as he figured out I wasn't falling for whatever this was.

"ho fine!" he said quickly snaping his fingers. And the flood gates opened because like A rushing of water I was hit with sensations of input, of information I felt it all, I could tell where all of them were, and I knew I had control of them all.

"yeah it's a lot." He said with an amused smirk on his face

"y-you're a parahuman too." I sated as I started to think of . He's obviously a trump with how he was able to keep my power shut off this entire time, he also called my power bullshit so that suggests some kind of power understanding aspect to his own powers. Does he need physical contact? Or is it based on his sight?

"hey not to belabor your freak out but we've only got like a few more seconds before they come in and I just thought that it was important for you to know that you're a parahuman. What you do next is completely your choice if you want to go join the PRT wards, go solo, or even just be a rogue its all on you." He said as he got up once again and stood next to the door.

Before I could even get a word out the officer was back through the door proclaiming that our time was up.

"oh and by the way my names Chris. Ill see you in class, and I hope we can be friends." Chris said as he walked out the door directed by the police and my father.

"ok so now I'm going to take your statement about the incident and your assailant."

—Chris—

Waiting is the worst part. Whoever said that didn't have access to a power that would allow them to spy on everything in a localized area. Admittedly the first thing I did while waiting to find out how Taylor was, was to experiment with my primary power. So I decided to "reroll" the expression of Taylors power and it took me a little bit but eventually I arrived on the ability to control all carbon based lifeforms, as well as use their senses. Sure it only worked within so many meters of myself but that doesn't really matter when I'm just outside the room I'm spying on.

And not being the complete asshole that I am I've only been using the power to spy and not take control of anyone's actions. So yeah I've been listening into the officer taking Taylor's statement since I left the room, admittedly nothing has happened that I haven't expected from an officer questioning a fifteen year old victim…but I'm still waiting for the PRT to get involved either to sweep this incident under the rug or check for a trigger event, or check for a fresh trigger considering that I left several signs of superstrength in my freeing of Taylor from the locker.

I really should have hung back and planned this a lot better but I cant change the past…yet. Oh well all they have is circumstantial evidence that I'm a parahuman, and it sounds like the interview is going all right.

"now we have a few questions on how it was you got out of the locker. It showed signs of being forced open by a brute. Do you know who that might be?" I heard the officer ask.

Well fuck me.

"N-no I passed out in the locker. I don't know who got me out."

Taylor to the rescue! Now I really feel bad about forcing her to wake up from that basically coma early. Meh I'll make it up to her by getting her to skip being a supervillain and go straight to being a hero. But until then I should start planning for the future.

Now who's powers would make a good addition to my arsenal? Skidmark? No. Über? Maybe. Purity? Oh now there's not just potential for powers to add to my arsenal, but just maybe another cape on my side.

I better start planning.

—Contessa—

Contessa was a woman who was rarely if ever rattled. But when THE PATH changed so radically as to the point where it was "derailed" she was shocked and then to have the new path to victory be visible only for mere moments before it was changed once again. Contessa knew that others actions could change her path but what she saw in those seconds was an entirely unprecedented completely unplanned for as well as completely unstoppable.

—Dinah Alcott—

Since the day she triggered Dinah Alcott had learned that she was being hunted, that she would eventually be taken, and that her family would eventually be killed. Out of habit she asked herself a question "when will coil come and take me?" it took an instant for her power to respond, and an instant for hope to be restored. 0 percent chance that coil would take her.

"Why won't coil take me?" 100 percent chance that she would be saved.

100 percent chance that she would be saved. She could hardly believe it

Okay so how was it leave your thoughts. Also reincarnated again is still in the works I'm going to uploads the final and interlude chapters together around the end of October so look out for that! And as I promised here are the choices I made on the Ouroumov CYOA.
