"Hermione, it's private

"Hermione, it's private." Ron said, gesturing at Harry.

"Fine. I know when I'm not wanted." And with that, Harry stalked off.

"Okay, what do you want?" Hermione asked. "You know, you haven't been being very nice to Harry lately."

"I know. It's just I have been so busy lately."

"Obviously." Muttered Hermione.

"What? Anyway… oh Hermi, something awful's happened."

"Yeah, I figured that, but what?"

"It's… you know… You Know Who. He's back, and for good."

"How the hell did you find that out?" Hermione had turned pale.

"I overheard some deatheaters talking in the school grounds." Ron said.

"Why didn't you tell anyone?" Hermione was practically screaming now and lots of heads had turned to look at her.

"I did. I told Dumbledore and that's why I've been so busy. We've been working how to try and stop He Who Must Not Be Named. But…" Ron paused. "We thought it would be a good idea to not tell Harry until later."

"You could have told me."

"But you were always with Harry. I thought you didn't like me. Anyway, I've told you now, haven't I?" Cried Ron.

"Okay." Hermione said, and kissed Ron.

"Did you just kiss me?" Asked a shocked Ron.

"Yes," replied Hermione. "Let's talk about this tomorrow at lunch." Then Hermione walked up the stairs leaving Ron alone to think.
