Queen takes
The pawn
Alice stood on a rock that hung is black space, and before her was the ultimate degeneration of her mind. The Queen, a burning red beast that was the poison of sanity, and the bane of the brain. The Queen was a mighty opponent, but this black space, this entire world, Wonderland, was Alice's creation, and even the Queen was born of her mind. Her mind was broken, and she had come here to mend it. And now the Queen was the final crack in the perfect metal, and when she would be disposed off, all would be well.
She held in her hand a knife, it's sharp surface wet with the blood of the thousand enemies she had faced and slain. She was a warrior, and the queen would fall.
The knife glimmered in the sunlight, coming from nowhere.
The hand gripped it's wooden handle.
The eye centered on the foul Queen.
The Queen laughed.
The hand threw the knife.
The knife hit the Queen.
The Queen screamed.
Screamed, with pure pain and agony. Her song of madness, her tune of discord faded into silence. All she had created faded with her power, and the scream faded with it.
Then, the image of the Queen, screaming in agony and twisting as wounds opened all over her, pouring thick, foul blood into the world, shattered. The small crystal fragments fell, and fell, spinning like small snowflakes, little bits of great evil.
The shards hit ground, and broke again. The thin dust that was once the Queen of Hearts began to evaporate, and the light wind of fresh and sane thought carried it away.
Alice stood alone, triumphant. She had won the ultimate battle, and her prize was her mind.
And with the sickness gone, Wonderland was restored. The twisted hills and jagged ground bloomed, and evil was wiped from the minds of it's inhabitants.

Alice stood before the door. The door was in front of her, and beyond it lay freedom. Her days at the Mental Hospital were not yet forgotten, but they had already begun to fade as excitement settled in. She would have a home again, and loving parents, and friends. She opened the portal, and stood in the warm late spring sun. Green grass sorounded her, and on the nearly pure blue sky, a few small clouds lazily crept on. They looked like sheep. Her depressed eyes glittered, and her pale face smiled. She could feel hope, thick enough to cut with a knife.
No. Please, no. I don't want to remember that. Don't want to remember-
Her mind jolted and pushed back, unwilling to relive the nightmares. That era was over. Never again would she have to spill blood, and hack through flesh and
No. Please, no. I defeated you. You're dead. You're-
Tumbling down the rabbit hole? Yes, please.
Not again. Please, god, not again. Just not again-
Cat killed the curiosity, my dear.
Go away. GO AWAY. Leave me alone. LEAVE ME ALONE!
Up above the world you fly, like a teatray in the sky, twinkle twinkle
Away. Not again. Defeated. You. Remember that. Please, God, just-
OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
And Alice lost the sun, and the happy green grass, and the happy summer days.
Returned to Wonderland, the place of maddening horrors and wicked alien evils.
Tumbling down the rabbit hole, she fell into the Black Abyss.
The darkness held her tightly.
Welcome back, Alice. I think you're staying this time.
