The Elf, the Kender, and the Sock
by Katana Whistlebridge aka Pmacca01

There was an elf, a kender, and a sock.
The elf said to the kender, "Let's rest on this rock."
The kender agreed and they all drank their mead,
But not a comment came from the sock.

The elf, the kender, and the sock
Stopped to rest upon a rock.
As the elf stretched his feet, the kender fell asleep,
But wide-awake lay the sock.

The elf, the kender, and the sock
Lay where any thief could spot.
While the kender snored, the elf ignored,
But a new noise worried the sock.

The elf, the kender, and the sock
Almost got their heads chopped off.
The elf was sacked; the kender lost his hoopak,
But everyone left the sock.

The elf, the kender, and the sock
Were separated and were mocked.
The elf was killed, the kender grilled,
But ever lucky was the sock.
