Would: Song of A Veela
a poem by Rynde
Would you like to feel me?
Wend your ways into my unknown depths
Feel the cold sullen unshed tears I keep back
Feel Me.
Would you like to taste me?
All the flavours from which you are forbidden
The eternal tangible melon
Taste me.
Would you like to hear me?
Woeful echoes of a veiled ocean
Hiding glistering pearls that quiver in the waves
I sing the soft song of a lost ocean
Hear me.
Sense my heart beating
When the rainbow melts into the shadows
When the dipples fade at dawn
Under the drowned and faded colours
I am a Veela.
