Scarecrow
"Sirius Black, can you explain why there's hay all around my living room? What the fuck?" Lily asked, looking around, at the mess Sirius made. "What's happening?"
"I don't think I have ever heard you curse before, love. Everything okay?" Sirius asked, coming near Lily, dressed in a strange plaid shirt and jeans.
"No, everything isn't okay! Where does all this hay come from? And why is there hay here?!" Lily knew she was almost hysterical, but she was trying to understand what the hell had happened. "Sirius, what were you trying to do?"
Sirius beamed at her, and Lily knew without doubt, that he was going to tell her about a plan that is probably thought alongside the other Marauders, and if that wasn't a recipe for disaster, she doesn't know what else would be.
"Halloween is right around the corner, Lilypad, and the Marauders and I decided to be dressed as the characters from the Magic of Oz and I'm the Scarecrow!" Sirius was smiling like a little boy, and Lily giggled at the scene. "There's the reason for all the hay…but I think it was supposed to be inside my shirt?"
Lily sighed, knowing exactly what she was going to need to do, and if she was being sincere, it wasn't such trouble to help Sirius with his costume.
"You know you're a wizard, right? Why didn't you charm some of the hay to stay on the inside of the shirt before you had put it on?" Lily asked with a raised eyebrow, trying not to laugh at the face Sirius was making. "It looks like they choose the perfect costume for you."
Sirius scoffed, "Don't be mean, Lilypad, isn't like you to be like that. And I didn't know the hay package I brought home would explode all over me when I opened, did I?"
"I supposed not…but again, you're a wizard, so why were you trying to make a costume the muggle way?" Lily asked, starting to grab some of the hay and missing Sirius' flushed face.
"I'm dating a muggleborn, aren't I? And I thought you were going to find it hot that I tried to make it the muggle way," Sirius mumbled, making Lily stop in her tracks. "You're probably thinking that I'm stupid, aren't you?"
Dropping the hay she gathered, Lily walked towards Sirius, hugging him and kissing him square in the lips.
"You, Sirius Black, are already hot without trying to do things the muggle way, but you just turned ten thousands hotter now," Lily said, before kissing Sirius again. He was too adorable sometimes. "I'll help you, if you want, to finish your costume."
"Of course I want your help!" Sirius beamed at her and Lily smiled. "And don't worry, you won't be left out. We all think you should dress as the Wicked Witch of the West."
Sirius' smile was so big that Lily didn't have the heart to tell him she'll look awful in green.
