It was a nice afternoon in the magic convention where Sorcerers and magic enthusiasts would gather and see the wonderful presentations, memorabilias and all things that are related to magic. With this, there would be a lot of people in attendance, Men, boys, girls…

And of course… Women.

"Do you think this bracelet would look good on me, Ceedric?"

Sofia carefully inspected the pink bracelet on her hands with glitters on the corner. But her enthusiasm was cut short when she saw a reflection of Cedric from the shiny reflecting part of the headband

Cedric was currently looking around, and his attention was everywhere else but on hers – on a certain curvaceous lady up ahead to be exact. She had curves all over the place that one could mistake her for an hourglass

Sofia sighed and decided to walk ahead, but as she took a few steps in, she noticed that Cedric was still in the same place he was, looking all captivated and mesmerized over the lady that he was staring on.

Sofia rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, trying her hardest to contain herself.

Was this bothering her?

Yet it damn is.

"Mr. Ceedric, are you coming?" she raised her voice for him to hear

"I'm listening!" he hollered back, slowly closing his mouth that has been wide open since earlier when he was busy gawking at the woman "Y-yeah I'm coming" Cedric took a last turn for the woman before awkwardly jogging towards Sofia

When he finally reached her, Cedric playfully punched her on the shoulder "So did you find what you were looking for?"

"Not really.. I just can't make my choice.." Sofia whines softly with a pout on her face

Upon noticing this, Cedric sneaked behind her and gave her a quick tickle on her waist in surprise

Sofia jumped in surprise with a quick blush on her cheeks. She turned around with a frown and glared at Cedric who was chuckling at her

"What are you doing?" Sofia flustered with her arms waving at him "I almost tripped!"

Cedric put his right arm around her in a playful way and leaned closer "Now maybe, little princess Sofia over here is just too distracted to appreciate the little things"

Sofia couldn't help but feel weak in her knees being held by Cedric and him being so close to her, and also the distinct scent of him all over her "What do you mean by that?" she turns to him

"Well… my adorable little apprentice, here's the thing.." Cedric let go of Sofia's shoulder and looked

her in the eye "Sometimes, when there's too much of something that adores your eye, you might overlook the perfect one that's been there all along in front of you–" Cedric halted himself as his attention was taken by a lady passing by whose legs looked very nice with the stockings on.

He sounded like a man of wisdom right there, if not only with this sounding very ironic coming from Cedric himself

But despite this, Sofia got into deep thinking "So you're telling me…" she halted herself as well upon noticing Cedric was not paying attention to her yet again.

"Cedric!" Sofia grunted this time upon noticing what he was staring at

"Shh shh" Cedric put his finger on his lips in an emphasis to shush her "Sofia, look at her. Oh Lord do make such masterpieces.." he couldn't help but think out loud

Sofia's had enough.

Cedric, who was busy staring at the woman, suddenly felt something from behind. He then felt a weird force as his neck slowly moves to the side without his control. Eventually, it stopped as the sight of Sofia came to him holding a wand on her hand that she quickly hid behind her back.

Cedric knew instantly what was going on.

"Sofia, what did you do!?" Cedric grumbled on the spot, trying to move his neck back to its original position

"What are you talking about" Sofia looked away in response, looking whole guilty while doing so

"Your wand is literally sticking out from your back!" Cedric frantically reasoned out

Sofia didn't seem to listen as she then made her way to the side – which Cedric followed. Sofia then moved the other way again and Cedric was still looking at her

"What's going on!" he whined again

"It worked~" she murmured slow under her breath

"Sofia!" he called out for her "Please undo this spell"

"What spell?"

"The spell that you casted me!"

"No I didn't"

"You're literally carrying a wand!" Sofia hasn't noticed that she exposed the wand that she was holding. She was never a good liar, and it is indeed showing. Sofia was as pure as water and when it comes to times like this, she couldn't lie for anything

"Whoops.." all of a sudden, the wand flew out from Sofia's hand and out of the window where it flew out

"W-wha…" Cedric was flabbergasted of what he witnessed "Why would you even throw it away?"

"I didn't throw it away.." Sofia rubbed her arm behind her back "It flew out of my hand.."

"This is really ridiculous.. now how are you supposed to bring me back to normal"

"It only lasts for an hour.." Sofia turned around to leave a payment for the wand she just used at the stall

"SO YOU ADMIT IT!"

"La~ la~ la~ la~ la~" Sofia completely ignored him as she started skipping through different stalls and humming to herself with Cedric's gaze following her every move with the spell's effects

Sofia stopped at a nearby shack with Cedric following from behind

"I learned it from one of your spell books, Mr. Ceedric" Sofia winked playfully at him which he responded with a scoff

"I'm not even trying to hear that.."

"Well at least you won't be having stiff neck later.." Sofia softly grumbled, clearly pertaining to something

"And why is that?" Cedric asked her without hesitation while she was busy sorting out the jars of ingredients for a potion

Sofia then turned to him and looked him straight in the eyes with a smirk on her lips

"Because you won't be turning your head much anymore."

.

.

.

A sudden silence engulfed the both of them as they just looked into each other without a word. That is until…

"Now do you realize how you stupid you just sounded?"

Sofia took in a deep breath and closed her eyes

"Not really~" she responded in a sing-song tone

A sigh escapes from Cedric hearing this

"After all…" Sofia couldn't hide her smile as she slowly opened her baby blues "You're too distracted of other things that you overlook the perfect one right in front of you~"

.

.

.

"What?"

As expected, his eyebrows furrowed as his expression slowly forms into a grimace of confusion

"Oh nothing you dense fool.." Sofia just rolled her eyes with his response.

This was Cedric after all… it was to be expected.

Cedric was completely clueless. He didn't quite understand how his quote relates to this dilemma that he currently has, but as he found himself staring at Sofia more, he noticed something about her.

Looks like the wind of luck was about to smile in Sofia's favor when…

"Your hair.." Cedric slowly hummed under his breath upon noticing Sofia's auburn curls tied to fringes that covers her forehead entirely "I've never seen you tie it that way before.."

"Aww thank you, Mr. Ceedric!" Sofia smiled in response, her ears starting to go red with that compliment "Now you finally noticed.."

"Yeah.." Cedric definitely wanted to look away of embarrassment but he can't… unironically. Everything happening to him surely was poetic.

But as he cleared his mind, he notices another thing about Sofia as he stares down at her body

"I've never seen you wear that dress before too.." he added without thinking as he seemed to have noticed the lilac dress she's wearing. It was the same color that she was wearing when he first met her but different dress. It was almost ten years ago, surely she would've grown out of it by now

"It looks nice.." he whispers under his breath, hoping she won't hear

"Why thank you~" his luck ran out

"Which is a coincidence because Lilac is actually my favorite color…" he admitted slowly

"Oh my, isn't that a coincidence..!" Sofia grew shocked with a surprised expression as if she hadn't known this for years and has been planning to wear the dress to impress him.

"Yeah…" Cedric huffed softly "You should wear it often. It'll definitely catch eyes of any aspiring lads that'll wish to be next to you in an instant"

"Actually, I do am wearing it for a certain someone~" her voice low and soft, yet pure and innocent at the same time, had a message whole lot deeper than what it seemed to be "But he doesn't seem to notice. No matter what I do, he's always looking at others"

"Then that lad is nothing but a fool then" Cedric chuckled to himself in a degrading way "I mean, does he realize he's got the eye of the PRINCESS herself?"

"What an ungrateful bastard.." he added in a mean and degrading way, clearly making fun of whoever Sofia was pertaining to "Just say the word and I'd turn him into a frog for your sake, Sofia"

"Go cast the spell in the mirror then.."

"What?"

"NOOOTHHINGGG!" Sofia giggled in response as she skipped ahead in a childish way.

This was clever of Sofia. This way, she can hide the growing blush on her cheeks from him with that major subtle hint she's given.

"But seriously though.." Cedric scoffed yet again, clearly as dense as ever

"That guy is an idiot.."

Sofia stops on her tracks suddenly as a smile forms on her lips upon hearing this. She thought about that man she was talking about and turned around at the same time

"He is" Sofia confessed as she turns back and skips closer to Cedric to link her arms with him. She looks at him closer with a cheery smile on her face..

.

.

.

"But I still love him anyways~"

"Then you are an idiot for that too" Cedric couldn't help but chuckle in response

Sofia didn't take this too lightly as she lets go of him with an displeased expression

"Seriously?" Cedric looked at him in a demeaning way "This tool doesn't even look at you like that and you're still in love with him?"

A feint blush has yet again returned to her face with this with her heart pounding "y-yeah… is there something wrong with that?"

"Oh my naive apprentice.." Cedric put his arm around her casually "There's still much you need to know about things like this. Come over the workshop this evening, I'll tell you all about it"

"T-That sounds wonderful" her voice rose into excitement

Cedric grew startled over this "Ohhh-kay Princess, it's not that much of a big deal.."

"No need to get all that excited, it's just a normal mentor wisdom, that's all" he added

"Yeah, I'm sure your broad wisdom about WOMEN will be great advice for me" A sarcastic take from Sofia blurted out. His influence was rubbing off on her clearly "You've never even had a girlfriend bef…"

"Apupupupup! Now this is about you, not me" Cedric was quick to cut her off

"I know…" Sofia giggled in response "I'm merely teasing. Mr. Ceedric. I'm sorry"

"If you're really sorry, then turn me back to normal. Undo the spell"

"Why? So you can be a creep and look at other girls again?"

"No no… I promise I won't… I'll just stare at the wands they have"

"Nope!"

"Oh come on!"

"The spell lasts for an hour anyways so bear with it"

"Sofia, you're seriously punishing me because I appreciate God's creations and masterpieces…"

"Well, if you like to appreciate girls that much. Why don't you do it later at the workshop?"

"The workshop? There are no girls at the worksh…"

"AHEM!"

"I mean… of course there's you… but I can't do that"

"And why is that?"

"I mean… you know… you're different."

"Oh I'm different now huh…"

"Look Sofia, this story is already done. Can we just move on to another story now? I'm sure the reader is tired of this pointless bickering."
