Author's note: Hello, I know this one's short, but I was thinking about it being something else, but then this came out. For those of you who didn't know, Terry is Rhyno. I don't know if I should write more for it or just leave it at this. But regardless...this one's for you Nik.
I quietly unlocked and opened the door of the apartment and walked in. I heard Aerosmith singing " Angel" from the bedroom and walked in to see my girlfriend of almost two years asleep at the computer desk, the screen in front of her saying only three words.
"I miss Terry."
I smiled and sat my bag down in the corner and cautiously picked her up out of the black leather office chair. She opened her eyes and looked at me sleepily, but with a smile on her face.
" Terry, your home." She said, resting her head on my shoulder.
" Yes I am, now go back to sleep." I said, kissing her forehead as I put her down in the bed and covering her with the blankets. I looked at her as she drifted off to sleep, snuggled deep within the cotton surrounding her. I quickly changed into a pair of pajama pants and crawled into bed beside her, knowing that she wouldn't be completely happy until she was wrapped in my arms. I put my arm around her and she turned to face me. She put her head on my shoulder and smiled.
" I love you."
" I love you too." I said into the darkness, holding her close, hoping that she knew how much I really did love her.
