It was a great day in Royal Woods. Stella was going for a walk in the forest. She had gone off the hiking trail, and was walking past many trees and bushes.

Stella: It's a great day to go for a walk through the forest.

Just then, she heard another kid calling for help, and Stella ran to see where the kid was. She followed his voice...

Stella: Hello, there!

Kid: Help, I got lost!

She heard his voice even closer, and she ran to the source. She saw a boy that was stuck in a hole that was in the ground. His girth was slightly bulging around the hole he's stuck in.

Stella: What's the problem? How did you get in there?

Boy: (with his top half out of the hole) I got lost and fell into this hole which I didn't see in front of me. And now, I'm stuck!

Stella: Don't worry. I'll get you out!

Stella tried to pull him out with her arms, but he was so heavy that she couldn't hold on to hold, and she let go...

Stella: You are so heavy!

Boy: I'm sorry.

Stella: I have another idea. (she gets out a rope) Hold your arms up.

The boy did so, and Stella tied the rope against his waist, and tried to pull him out...

Boy: The rope is slightly squishing around my waist.

Stella: Just hold on a little bit longer!

After some extreme effort, Stella finally pulled him out of the hole. When he was out, she got a closer look at the boy. She saw that it was a rather chubby 10-year-old boy, with brown hair, black long-sleeved shirt, blue shorts, and tan shoes.

Stella: Are you okay?

Boy: I'm fine.

After Stella removed the rope from his waist, she asked him this question: 'What were you doing in the forest in the first place?'

Boy: I was going for a walk, but I went off the trail for a bit, and get lost, and couldn't find the trail back. Anyway, thanks for getting me out of that hole.

Stella: You're welcome. What's your name?

Boy: Ethan.

Stella: I'm Stella.

Ethan: It's nice to meet you, Stella.

Stella: Ethan, do you want to come over to my house for a bit?

Ethan: Thanks, I would like to.

The two kids then began to walk out of the forest. After they walked to the edge of the forest, they saw the back of Stella's house...

Ethan: Is this your house?

Stella: Yes, it is. I have to make sure that my parents don't see you.

Ethan: Why?

Stella: Because they're not used to my friends staying at our house.

Stella and Ethan then started looking for a way to get inside. Stella soon saw a small round window, and she knows that window led to her bedroom...

Stella: Ethan, that window is the ticket to getting you inside.

They saw that the window was slightly higher that their heads. Stella had a plan to help her friend get up to it.

Stella: (holds her hands together) Ethan, put your foot in my hands, and grab onto the window. I'll lift you up and push you in!

Ethan got ready to do that. He put his foot in Stella hands, then she went behind him, and helped push him up to reach the window. She had to push on his butt. But, halfway through the window, he got stuck at the top of his belly...

Ethan: Oh, no, how did I get stuck?

Stella watched Ethan's lower half struggling, and kicking his legs. She started to push him in. She used 1 hand, and other shoulder...

Stella: (straining) Good thing I play dodgeball and run track, because I would have the strength to do this!

Soon, Ethan popped through the house, and tumbled inside the room.

Ethan: Well, I got in.

Stella then climbed inside the window, and got herself inside. They talked about what happened...

Ethan: Why am I so chubby?

Stella: Well, what foods do you eat?

Ethan: I sometimes eat more sweets than fruits and vegetables.

Stella: (a little shocked) Wow, I feel sorry for you.

Ethan: Thanks. Your room is very nice.

Suddenly, they heard Ethan's stomach rumbling...

Ethan: I'm feeling a bit hungry.

Stella: Wait here. I'll get you something to eat.

She left her bedroom and went to the kitchen. Ethan was sitting on her bed, waiting. Soon, Stella returned with a slice of cake...

Stella: Here you go, I got you a big slice of chocolate cake.

Ethan: Thank you.

He then took it apart, then grabbed each piece, and ate it, like a pig, with his hands. Stella was watching him, shocked, and asked, 'We're you really that hungry?'

Ethan: I really was.

He went back to stuffing his face. When he was finished, his face looked a little bit messy with chocolate stains.

Ethan: That was delicious.

Stella: You've got a pretty strong appetite.

Ethan: Yeah, I must have.

After Ethan asked Stella where the bathroom was, he went there to clean himself up. He got a washcloth, put water on it, and cleaned off his face with that. Then he returned to Stella's bedroom, and says, 'I think I can find my house from here.'

Stella: Before you leave, do you have a picture of your family you could show me?

Ethan nodded, and got out a photo of his family from his pocket: it showed a girl with brown hair that was straight and free, up to her back, with pink pearl earrings, a rainbow-colored dress, and brown sandals, a man with brown hair and a gray business suit, and a woman with light-blonde hair that was free and up to her back as well, with black pearl earrings, and a blue business suit.

Ethan: The girl is my older sister, Marlene. And those are my parents, Larry and Cassie. My older sister works as a beautician, my mother works as an attorney, and my father works in real estate.

Stella: (amazed) Wow, they're brilliant. Anyway, are you sure you don't need me to help you get home?

Ethan: Like I told you, I think I can find my way back home.

Stella thought for a moment, and then she had an idea...

Stella: Ethan, I'm willing to let you visit me all the time, but only if we keep you out of sight from my parents.

Ethan: Well, how would I get inside without your parents seeing you?

Stella: You can come in and out through the window.

Ethan: Do you have a plan if your parents are near your door and could hear what's going on?

Stella: I'm sure that won't happen.

Ethan: Thank you for your generosity, Stella.

Ethan then hugged Stella, who was touched, and hugged him back. After they let go, Ethan started walking toward the window. He managed to reach it, but as he was climbing out, he got himself stuck again.

Ethan: Oh, no, I'm stuck again!

Stella: Do you need help getting out?

Ethan: (struggles) Are you sure it's safe to go down this way?

Stella tries to push him out using her back...

Stella: It's the safest way we have!

...but soon realized he wasn't moving an inch. He was just too tight.

Stella: I'll have to use my hands to get you out!

After a bit of struggling, she successfully got Ethan unstuck from her window. After he climbs down to the ground, Stella stuck her head out the window...

Stella: Will you come back to visit me?

Ethan: Of course, if you want me to.

Stella: I'd like that.

Ethan: Okay, I'll come back at about 2:00 tomorrow afternoon.

Stella: Alright, that's fine. I'll be ready when you come back.

Ethan: So, goodbye for now? (waves to Stella)

Stella: Yes, goodbye. (waves to Ethan)

Ethan then walked away. Stella then went to lay down on her bed, relax, and thought about her friendship with Ethan starting...

Stella: (happily) I can't wait to see him again.

She would see him again the following day.
