It was finally over. The Shadowman and his Apothicons allies were finally banished back into the Dark Aether once and for all. Every known dimension that was littered with the Shadowman's corruption and misdoings was finally gone from the reality of Agartha, never to corrupt a universe once again.

"With the evil vanquished, I can finally start making it all nice again." Dr. Monty spoke as he watched the sunrise on Agartha. The once-torn-down and destroyed landscapes that were corrupted from different planes of reality were back to normal. He continued to look at the sun slowly rising into the air and felt the heat beat down on his worn body. "No more undead. No more Apothicons, No more Shadowman." He continued. The last one slightly stung the elderly keeper deep in his heart. He knew that the Shadowman needed to be vanquished back into the Dark Aether for eternity if he truly wanted to save the multiverse, but he hoped, he prayed that the remnant of his old friend was locked away behind all of the corruption. However, his more logical side told him that his friend was long gone in the pursuit of total control.

The lives he had to snuff out just to reach here was something that Monty could never forgive himself for even if he tried. Abigail Briartown, Russman, Samuel J. Stulingher, Marlton Johnson, Billy Handsome, Salvatore Del Luca, Finn O'Leary, Albert Arlington, Jackie Vincent, Nero Blackstone, Ludvig Maxis, Sophia Eckelmann, Jessica Rose, Floyd Campbell were just some of the long list of people the Shadowman had a role in destroying for his gain. Dr. Monty wasn't stupid. He knew that lives would be lost to stop the destruction of the multiverse and reality itself. However, he wanted to save everyone he possibly could before his old friend corrupted them to the point of their demise. He tried to help them in any way he was able to do so. However, the Shadowman's grip on the multiverse was tightening with each passing second. Limited in options, All Monty could do was manipulate the Aether to drop weapons, ammo, or clues for the named survivors to escape the madman's clutches. However, it was all in vain. By the time the souls were collected and Maxis was pulled into Agartha, everything and everyone was on the brink of total collapse.

"All of it. Gone." He should feel happy. Ecstatic. Relief. Anything. All he felt was emptiness. Turning around, the Elderly Keeper looked at the four survivors of a universe long destroyed. Dr. Edward Richtofen, Staff Sergeant Tank Dempsey, Corporal Nikolai Belinski, and Major Takeo Masaki. He found it somewhat ironic that these four men, from countries that in their universe, could put aside their differences and fight for the common good, while the countries they originated from were enemies of the humans First World War. Weirdly, He was envious of the human race. He had watched the Human Race in every dimension and universe, time and time again until the cycle started. Every time, the humans would surprise him to no end. Although primitive compared to the Keeper race, the Human Race held something that the Keepers did not.

Courage.

He watched as the Human Race built settlements and townships, and strived to reach for the stars in the vast emptiness of space. He watched as his Keeper brothers and Sisters taught the humans philosophy, and knowledge, under the disguise of one from their race. He had watched country after country fight and argue with one another and send men and women to their deaths in the various battles and wars they fought throughout their existence. He watched as each country held some type of contempt and anger toward one another. And yet, time and time again, when all hope was lost and when they bound together, Humans were capable of pulling off the impossible and putting aside their hatred and forgiving one another.

He would've laughed. His very race was cursed with knowledge. He watched as several of his friends lost themselves in their pursuit of power in the Dark Aether and became something out of a nightmare. Now, Dr. Monty was the only one left alive from his race. Everyone he knew. Gone. Gone in this god-forsaken Cycle that was finally over. However, something wasn't right.

"However." Monty began. "None of you shouldn't even be here. With the souls of your counterparts safe in the house and your universe destroyed, you should be fading to ash. Written away. A glitch in the system that would've been corrected. And yet," Monty growled as he watched the four men hold empty blood vials in their hands. "Those Blood Vials." Dr. Monty spoke.

Sighing, Rictofen Slid the Wunderwaffe DG-3 On his back and holstered the Ray Gun Mark II beside the pack-a-punched weapon. Walking forward, he grabbed the empty blood vial that sat on his chest beside the M1911 Colt Pistol. "I was wondering when you bring this up." His heavy German accent spoke through the calm air as he continued to look at the vial in his hand. He knew Monty wasn't a fool. Sure, he had managed to give him the slip for several seconds as he took his allies to the prison so he could secure the blood from the four Prisoners. However, he was expecting Monty to bring them up the moment they arrived in Agartha and destroyed the Teleporter.

"They are from realties that we had closed off from here. They shouldn't be here! They CAN'T be here!" Dr. Monty felt the urge to scream at Richtofen as he walked closer to the German Scientist. "After everything that happened, Everything we did for the Shadowman to be stopped once and for all so this monumental FUCK UP to be over with!" His eyes briefly flashing blue, Monty sighed for a few moments to rain his emotions back in check. Taking one last deep breath, The Elderly Keeper opened his eyes and looked at Richtofen and the rest of the men. "They cause a paradox that could jeopardize everything we had worked for and fought for."

"The fuck are you talking about Monty?" Tank finally spoke as he stepped out into the open. "We did what you asked of us. We stopped the Shadowman before he was able to destroy the multiverse." The American argued. Gripping onto the Zeus Cannon and the Dire Wolf on his back, Tank pressed on as he continued to stare at Monty. "And what? Our "reward" is not being allowed to live? that's bullshit! I lost everything due to fixing this madness!" Tank Screamed.

"Dempsey is right," Nikolai spoke as he walked beside the American. "I have lost everything in this search to fix this.." He looked around the beautiful landscape of Agartha before looking back at Monty. "..Madness. All I was told is that I was investigating the enemy war machine the Germans had developed in the War. I did not know about alternate universes, Apothicons, or my alternate counterparts. I may never see my country again. I am glad I was able to stop the madness and destruction of the war. I would have even given my life if it meant everything will be fixed. " Nikolai continued. "... Now that it is all over... I am tired. Tired of Zombies, Shadowman, Apothicons... All of it." He sighed before looking at Richtofen. "It's funny, I use to blame the German for this nightmare... Weirdly, he is. But that was his other counterpart, the madman... But I understand now. He, along with all of us, were just victims of circumstance." He sighed. He slid the Estoom-Oth on his back beside the Dragon's Glare.

Monty sighed as he looked over the four men in front of him before looking solely at the quiet Japanese Soldier. "I suppose you have something to say in this?" He asked.

"I... remain neutral on this matter." Taeko began. "At first, I tolerated Dempsey, Nikolai, and Richtofen in this endeavor to make a better tomorrow. It was learning the truth about my..." Takeo cringed silently before taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. "... Treacherous Emperor and the reality of my other self and his timeline, I trusted them more and more. To me... they are my allies." He sighed. "Whatever happens, I wish for them to live good lives, where ever they may be," Takeo said.

The group stood in the field in total silence. The sounds of birds chirping and a nearby river was the only thing that rang through the air as Monty stared at them. However, after a few seconds, something happened that the Primis crew didn't expect the Elderly Keeper to do.

He laughed.

It wasn't a laugh full of anger, humiliation, or annoyance. He simply laughed. Richtofen raised an eyebrow in shock as Monty continued to laugh. In all of his travels and talking to the Keeper, he was always serious and to the point with every matter.

After a few seconds, Monty finally stopped laughing and looked at the group with amusement in his eyes. "You humans never cease to amaze me." He began. "I guess all of that fighting across the multiverse made you guys brothers in all but blood." He continued. However, the amusement left his eyes as he turned around and looked back out to Agartha. "However, you can't stay here. You all being here threatens to destabilize everything." He held his chin in thought. His mind raced through every possible scenario that would fix this issue. He couldn't erase them like he planned to. They did have a point in this matter, they were just victims of circumstances caused by Ultimus Richtofen and the Shadowman.

"You could..." Richtofen was the first to speak as he stepped closer to the Keeper who turned to look at him. "Send us somewhere... somewhere... we have never been?" He asked. He knew the multiverse was vast. Even though he, traveled to countless universes to collect, monitor, and record his findings to stop the Shadowman, didn't travel to every universe in existence. "There has to be some universe out there that the Shadowman didn't corrupt."

Monty felt his eyebrow raise as a solution came into his mind. "Interesting." He began before looking at the rest of the group. "There is one universe that was created long ago. Long before this bullshit occurred. A universe that the Keepers nor the Apothicons didn't bother themselves with. I highly doubt the Shadowman and his Apothicon pals would go there. There is nothing there at all that would interest them or help them in this war." Monty began. "Yes, yes that all works out perfectly. You lot are gone, The Shadowman is gone for good, and Agartha would be fine. Everything work's out fine." Monty waved his hand toward the group before they had the chance to speak. Their bodies began to glow a bright yellow color as they were lifted in the air.

Tank watched as his hand began to disappear into the light, followed by the rest of his body and the guns strapped to his body. Nikolai and Takeo were the next to go.

"I suppose this is goodbye, Richtofen. I thank you for all you have done for me and the rest of the universe. You have my eternal respect." Monty spoke disappearing German. Within seconds, the Primis crew were gone from Agartha, leaving only Dr. Monty who stared back at the landscape before sighing and beginning to walk back to the house where the children were.

Earth 10312010

Cold darkness.

That was the only feeling Edward Richtofen was able to feel. It was as if he were sitting in a swirling whirlpool of darkness. His body felt heavy. His mind felt like it were in an endless pool of quicksand with no chance of escape. Dr. Monty had sent him and the rest of his allies to unknown earth, not even he had known about after reading the Kronorium. A universe that was supposedly not corrupted by the Keepers or the Apothicons, a "failed" universe that Monty had no use for.

His hearing felt like it was underwater. Yet, he was able to faintly hear the sound of someone calling out to him.

Another voice spoke to him.

Edward strained his ears the best he could and forced himself to move. However, as he did so, a wave of nausea hit him with the strength of a Margwa. He felt the feeling in his body shoot back into him and his eyes shoot open like bullets. The German doctor shot up and began to puke on the ground. "Okay good, he made it. Starting to worry you kicked the bucket." Tank's voice, now clear, hit his ears as he patted him on the back. Richtofen coughed out more and more vomit while Tank continued to pat him on the back.

"Glad to see you back in the world of the living." Nikolai was the next to talk as he knelt in front of the doctor. Tank looked at the Russian with a raised eyebrow.

"He wasn't dead Nik. It was that way Monty teleported us to.. well where ever we are. The same shit happened to us when we got here a few minutes ago." Tank replied. Nikolai rolled his eyes as he stood back up.

"I know that Dempsey, it was a figure of speech." Nikolai sighed before offering his hand to the German. "Come, Edward. Take a deep breath and stand." The Russian said. Coughing one last time, Richtofen looked at the gloved hand before grabbing onto the hand and pulling himself up. It took a few seconds for Richotfen to find his balance. Shaking the last bit of wooziness out of his mind. He used the back of his hand to wipe the bile from his lips. Richtofen looked around and noticed that he, along with Tank, Nikolai, and Takeo who leaned on a tree, were in a forest. Trees as tall as small buildings surrounded the four men and broken leaves surrounded their feet. They felt the heat of the sun slightly beat down their bodies, only being protected by the shade of the leaves and branches.

"Glad to see, Richtofen awake." The heavy accented raspy voice of Takeo nodded to the German doctor who nodded back at him before continuing to look around his surroundings.

"Do you where Monty sent us?" Nikolai asked the German man who shook his head in response.

"I do not. This isn't a universe I knew before we went to Agartha or when we collected our souls." Richtofen replied. Tank raised an eyebrow before looking around the surrounding area.

"Thought that magic book of yours told you when and where shit would happen? Didn't it mention any of this happening?" The American asked Richtofen. At first, Tank couldn't trust Richtofen as far as he could throw him. When he read the report from his General about the Doctor he had to extract from France, he chalked it up to the Doctor being a key aspect of how the United States can destroy those metal monstrosities the Germans had funded Group 935 to win the World War. After learning about alternate universes, Apothicons, and his alternate counterpart, Tank's relationship with Richtofen soured by the day. It also didn't help that the Scientist was extremely vague about what they were required to do. However, after revealing his plan in the Der Eisendrache facility, as well as learning about the kronorium, he placed his trust in the man and his plan to fix what their counterparts had caused throughout the multiverse.

"The Kronorium never showed me such events taking place, Dempsey," Richtofen replied. Takeo pushed himself off of the tree and joined the group.

"What did the book show you, Richtofen." The Japanese captain asked the million-dollar question that was on the Russian and American minds. Edward sighed as he twisted his neck to get the slight kink out of his muscles.

"All it showed me was us fixing the wrongdoings of my counterpart and stopping the Shadowman from destroying the world. The book was completely blank after it told me we would win." Richtofen replied. He still could vividly see the pages filled with events that he needed to start if he wanted to fix and save everyone. How he had to kill the Ultimus counterparts and collect their souls, and how he needed the Summoning Key in Morg City. The only thing that was of his own volition was collecting the blood of the Survivors of the Ultimus timeline and the four mobsters in the Alcatraz prison. The book was completely blank after he read the final page. Nikolai himself sighed as he looked around the forest.

"Great. No, we have no idea where we are." The Russian sighed.

"Or when we are." Takeo continued. The group was stuck in some universe that not even their resident Doctor knew about its existence. After traveling from universe to universe, from the Castle of Der Eisendrache to the hellish, dragon-filled version of Stalingrad, this was not the outcome that none of them were expecting.

"Alright, We have no idea where we are but from the looks of it, we're back on earth. Or some version of Earth." Tank continued as he knelt and unholstered all of the weapons he had on his person. "We need to take an inventory of our equipment. After everything that happened, I don't want us caught with our pants around our ankles." The Marine emptied his combat pouch and took notes of his equipment.

"Must we? Didn't Monty tell us this was a "failed" universe that he or the Shadowman had no use for?" Nikolai asked the American who nodded.

"That's what I'm worried about Nik." Tank began. "This is a "failed" universe they didn't want. By that, I'm guessing neither of them looked around here while the other crap was going on. We don't know who or what is in this universe. Monty gave us another one of those Max Ammo before the Shadowman was defeated. We need to see what we got just in case." Tank began. He was done being caught off guard by the monsters in every universe. This universe he and his allies were in was no different. Call him paranoid, but he didn't want to be caught without a plan. Taking the Zeus Cannon and the Dire Wolf off of his back, he unclipped and sat the Remington New Model Army and M1911 Pistol on the ground beside the two pack-a-punched weapons. Unclasping the small latch on his belt, he took out the large Bowie Knife and slid it beside the Large Revolver.

The rest of the group began to follow suit and knelt and began to take out everything in their bags, holsters, and pouches. Nikolai took off the Estoom-Oth and Dragon's Glare from his back. He unholstered the small Hatchet on his belt as well as the two M1895 Pistols in the holster. Beside him, Takeo took off the Masamune and the Magna Collider and placed them beside the Zeus Cannon and Dire Wolf. Next, he unclasped the several buckles on his belt and took out the trench knife, M96 Mauser, and Grenades. He then swung his bag to his front and unzipped it. Digging around, he took out several monkey bombs and perk bottles.

"Wait a minute." Tank interjected as he looked at Takeo. "How the hell did you get those Tak." Tank asked. Takeo huffed silently as he pulled several bottles of Juggernog, Speed Cola, Double Tap Root Beer II, Stamin-Up, Widow's Wine, and Deadshot Daiquiri.

"Before we left each area of that godforsaken place, I made sure we were prepared for what was the fight for the multiverse," Takeo replied. Every time he followed the rest of the group to another part of the destroyed Agartha, The Japanese soldier would make sure he held several bottles of the mysterious bottles that aided them in their journey. He had no idea how they were made. But he wasn't going to let them go to waste, no matter how bad they tasted.

Ignoring the group, Richtofen took off the Wunderwaffe DG-3 and the Ray Gun Mark II from his back and placed them on the ground. Unclasping the belts and latches, he took off a large bone saw and a small M96 Mauser from his chest. He took in their count quickly as he rubbed his chin in thought. "Let's see, All together we have thirty bottles of those perks and four Monkey Bombs. It also appears we are fine with ammunition." The German scientist continued before looking at the group. "I am guessing that all of us are currently empty with rations of food and water." He asked.

"Yeah, had the last MRE before we left Stalingrad." Tank admitted.

"Last bottle of Water was used as well," Nikolai added.

"I used my final rations of food before we left the castle," Takeo admitted.

Cursing in German, Richtofen began to get his weapons back on his body. "Okay, first things first, we need to find some source of food and water. After, we can focus on where and when Dr. Monty sent us." Richtofen said before standing up. Seeing no better option, the group gathered their things before setting off after the German.

They didn't know how long they had walked. The sun went down long ago and cast the forest in eerie darkness. Primis however, kept going. In front of the group, Takeo held his katana in his hands and listened for any signs of movement in the forest. Behind the Japanese Captain, Richtofen held his diary in his hand and silently wrote on the blank pages with his pencil.

"Hey, Nik" Tank whispered as he walked beside the silent Russian who held the Dragon's Glare in his hands. "Let me ask you something."

"If it is about crazy patriotism, I want no part of it," Nikolai replied. Tank glared at the Russian in response.

"No, it's not. I'm not that Tank." The American glared at Nikolai who only laughed.

"I am kidding, Dempsey." Nikolai laughed.

"Asshole." Tank sighed. "I was going to ask. Have you ever stopped to think about... well, everything we been through?" Tank began.

"You mean being trapped in alternate universe or saving the multiverse from Shadowman," Nikolai asked.

"All of it." Tank elaborated. "Think about it, Before all this shit started. The biggest war we know of was the Great War. A war between our countries who were at each other's throats for four years. Then, by some dumb luck, all four of us get roped into saving the multiverse and fixing the mistakes we made from another timeline." Tank spoke before looking around the barely visible forest that surrounded the four. "Now look at us, Where in some other universe Monty sent us which not even Richtofen knows about."

"I understand your concern, Dempsey." Nikolai sighed before he slid the Dragon's Glare on his back. "Before all of this madness began, I was simple man. I had a wife. I had a daughter. I was a proud Sergeant for the Red Army. Someone arrogant enough to believe the words of men who wanted nothing more than to further their own goals without the care of those beneath him. When I saw some of my brothers act as monsters to the victims of war, all in the name of Tsar Nicholas who cared nothing more than to party and line himself more with women and drink, I was cast out of the Army, and name was dragged through the mud." Nikolai continued. Opening a pouch in his left pocket, he took out a small photo and held it in his gloved hand.

"My beautiful Sasha, my little Anya." Nikolai smiled softly as he rubbed the image of his wife and child with his thumb. However, the smile was soon replaced with sadness as he continued to stare. "My Sasha, who had no ill bone in her body, a strong woman who the biggest heart, was treated like a beaten, disease-riddled dog in the motherland. My little Anya, who had the biggest smile and amazing laugh my ears would hear, was no longer allowed to attend the same schools as the other children. The Belinski name was now associated with "traitor" and "treason". All because of me asking questions about who was truly right in this war." Nikolai sighed as he placed the photo back in his pouch. "And when I got the letter from the new leaders of Russia, offering me a position back in the Red Army and my family's name being wiped clean at the cost of delivering Richtofen to them, I jumped at the moments notice. Now, I will never see my wife or daughter again."

"I'm sorry Nik." Tank sighed as he patted the Russian on the back. "I can't tell you I know what you are exactly going through. I never had a kid, to begin with. And the closest thing I have ever had to a relationship was a woman from New York." The American continued.

"You never had wife? Not even a love interest? I thought America was all sunshine and rainbows." Nikolai half teased. He wasn't foolish enough to believe that America didn't have a share of issues. Every country had skeletons in its closet no matter the size. However, Compared to life in Russia, where they were still reliant on farming while the rest of the world was industrializing, He figured life in America couldn't be that bad compared to his own country. Tank let out a huff in amusement as he swatted away a mosquito.

"Heh, that's a fucking joke." Tank chuckled before sighing. "America... to simply put, was a giant clusterfuck." Tank admitted. Nikolai looked at the Marine in a silent gesture to continue and mild shock. "Don't give me that look Nik. I still am an American and I'll die as an American. But I'm not an idiot. America had problems of its own. Seen people beat each other into submission and fuck the other person over if it meant getting their way. Seen people of my race beat and kill those of another race simply because of their skin color." Tank growled. "I never saw the issue with someone being of another race. We all bleed the same blood. We are all born the same way."

"Let me guess." Nikolai could see where this was going. "The woman you liked... She was another race, was she?" Nikolai asked. Tank nodded his head before looking away with a sigh.

"Yeah, Martha. Martha Williamson." Tank let out a small huff as he recalled the woman. "First woman I met that was able to put up with my bullshit when I was young. Fresh Marine straight out of Boot Camp, put in place by a woman half his size." Tank laughed. "She wasn't afraid to speak her mind to me or to anyone she met." Tank continued. "You gotta understand something Nik, Interracial Relationships were looked down upon back in America. I didn't care about her being black. She was beautiful to me. We had our issues of course. Took me a while to get her folks to warm up to me. But when we did, It was me and her against the world." Tank smiled.

"I guess you and I have something in common when it comes to finding love." Nikolai chuckled.

"Yeah, Martha and Sasha would've gotten along from the way you described your lady." Tank chuckled before the small grin was wiped from his lips. "When the war started, and I got drafted, Martha didn't want me to go. I told her that when I come back, I'll leave the military for good. Leave behind all of the fightings and marry her. Start a family. Find a job in the city or maybe move to Canada." Tank sighed. "Now, she is part of the long list of those who were destroyed by the Shadowman and the Alien bastards."

"I am sorry Tank." Nikolai patted the back of the Marine. "Just know, she is now free from the torment of the Shadowman."

"Yeah... I guess." Tank sighed. Their conversation was cut short as they came across a small clearing in the forest. A small, decrepit cabin sat in the middle with a red pickup truck. In front of them, Takeo held up his hands for the group to stop walking. Putting his diary away, Richtofen silently walked to Takeo's side with Nikolai and Tank walking up.

"First sight of life we had all day." Takeo narrowed his eyes. His grip on the katana tightening by the second as Nikolai looked around the cabin.

"I am not certain of that, Takeo." Richtofen, standing on the right of the Japanese man, scanned a section of the house. "This cabin looks deserted for quite some time now. The wood looks rotten and the car looks like it has been here for quite some time now." He added. Walking forward slowly, Tank unholstered the Remington New Model Army and held the Bowie Knife underneath the revolver. Looking at Nikolai, He gestured to the cabin before slowly walking to the truck. Nikolai took his hatchet into his hand and backed Tank. Walking into the open, Tank looked into the truck as Nikolai slowly made his way into the cabin.

"No keys." Tank whispered. Putting the Revolver back, he opened the door and searched the truck for any signs of what year the group was in. However, his efforts were in vain as the glove compartment held nothing of notice. Shaking his head, Tank turned around and watched as Nikolai walked out of the cabin with a small bag in his hand.

"Cabin is clear. Found a few bottles of water." The Russian held a small bag filled with a few bottles of water. Taking one out, he tossed two at Takeo and Richtofen who opened the bottles and drank several large gulps.

"Any sign of where we are or what year this is?" Tank asked the Russian. Nikolai was about to reply but Richtofen beat him to it.

"Guessing from the make of that truck, we should be somewhere in the future. What country, I am not too certain. But this does confirm we are no longer in the past nor our version of the present." Richtofen began as he threw the empty water bottle to the ground.

"At least that narrows down the period of where we had landed," Takeo added. Primis looked at the truck with thought. None of them could place the year the truck was from or where it was made. The furthest they had gone was in 1945 to collect Ultimus Nikolai's soul from Stalingrad. They had never seen a truck of that model made in their respective countries.

As they continued to stare, they were brought out of their thoughts as several gunshots rang throughout the night and followed by indiscriminate yelling they couldn't make out properly. "Shit!" Tank growled as he took off in the direction of the gunshots that continued to increase in ferocity. Richtofen tried to yell for his American comrade to stop but he was already long gone due to the Stamin-Up coursing through his body. Taking off after him, the rest of Primis took off to meet up with their comrade.

After running for five minutes, They came across an opening into a large field. Tank was crouched low and watched into the opening in total silence. His body was completely tense, Dire Wolf was clutched tightly in his hand as he continued to stare in silence into the opening. Richtofen was about to chastise his ally until he noticed what Tank was watching in the opening. It looked like any other farmhouse in the woods. However, it was what was going on in the farmhouse that gave him pause. In the distance, the large farm was currently set ablaze. Several cars drove around the farm and took shots at an endless sea of walking individuals. He couldn't see them perfectly, but those hisses the seemingly endless sea of people who took slow, dragging steps towards the large house was something Richtofen was familiar with.

"Dempsey... Please tell me you see what I am seeing." Takeo said as he gripped the hilt of his Katana in his hand. Although sounding different, he knew the sounds of those animalistic hisses anywhere.

"Yeah... I see them." Tank growled.

"How... How is this possible? Monty told us that this was a universe that He nor the Shadowman cared for! What the fuck are hell pigs doing here!" Nikolai screamed. He had wished they were done with the madness. He believed that after the Shadowman was defeated, the problem with the Zombies would be gone and forgotten and the universe Monty had sent them was free of the issue of Zombies.

"Hold on, Nikolai." Richtofen calmed down his friend as he knelt beside Tank. "Look closely. Their eyes." Richtofen told the three men who looked closer at the swarming zombies that seemed to only grow in size. "They are not glowing. The ones we have fought usually had glowing orange or blue eyes. And yet, these do not." The scientist added. Looking around, the group did notice one notable factor of these particular zombies in front of them.

"You mean this isn't the same maggot sacks we fought?" Tank asked the German doctor who shook his head.

"I cannot say for certain what these zombies are made of. They could be a mutation caused by Element 115. However, that theory holds little ground at the moment. It could be a manmade virus that caused this outbreak. They do not seem to have the ability to sprint like the Zombies we had to deal with. Until I see acquire samples of the flesh of these particular zombies, I cannot say for certain what happened in this universe Dr. Monty has sent us to. It also seems like headshots are the only way to permanently kill one." The German scientist replied. The large van that fired round after round from a small handgun pulled to the side of the blazing barn and allowed a man and a small child to jump down to safety before sprinting into the woods. The two remaining cars kept firing bullet after bullet into the Zombie's heads before it abruptly stopped. The door that led into the main house was kicked open and several people ran outside. Three women and an elderly man to be exact. Primis watched as the Elderly man took a Pump Action shotgun in his hand and began taking out zombies headshot after headshot.

"CARL!" One woman screamed into the night before taking out a small revolver and beginning to shoot whatever zombie she could see as the other woman ran inside. After a few seconds, the woman came back out with two other females. "HERSHEL! COME ON! WE GOTTA GO!" The woman from before screamed at the elderly man. However, as if he were in his world, The man, Hershel, kept firing shot after shot. Seeing her effort for Hershel to run, the females turned and ran off the porch as the zombies drew closer to them. However, one of the women screamed in agony as one of the zombies came behind her and bit into her neck.

"Fuck this." Tank growled before standing up and readying himself. "I had enough of this shit. Zombie after zombie. Life after life. Fuck it." Tank growled.

"Before you rush in there like an idiot." Richtofen reprimanded quickly as he took the Wunderwaffe DG-3 off of his back. "We need to come up with a plan." He added before looking at the group. "Dempsey, you will assist the family here and drive as much as the undead to you. Nikolai and I have the weapons needed to take out as many of them as we can. Takeo, you will stay here and support him" The German added. As much as he did not like conflict, he wouldn't sit by as innocent lives was killed. He had already sacrificed everything to save the multiverse, he was done having blood on his hands. Nodding to Nikolai the duo turned around and ran as fast as they could to the open field.

"Alright, Tak, you are with me. Let's show these fuckers not to mess with a Marine!" Tank yelled before running out into the field and beginning to open fire. Takeo took his katanaand sighed before running into the field.

It was all wrong. Everything went to hell within the span of a few weeks.

When the outbreak first began, Lori Grimes believed that her husband was among the dead after Atlanta quickly fell into chaos and despair. All across the world, countries were becoming overwhelmed by the increasing infection rates with no signs of slowing down. In only a matter of days, the increasing infection rate across the globe skyrocketed to the point of total collapse. Asia was the first to go dark from the rest of the world, followed by Russia, Europe then eventually Canada. Within the third week of her husband being "dead", America finally collapsed.

Lori was a total wreck. She tried desperately to hold onto hope. Hope that somehow, Rick would have survived the infection and was out searching for her. However, in her eyes, the writing was on the wall. Atlanta was quickly falling into chaos with each passing day. When her husband's partner, Shane, raced to her house and got herself and Carl out to the outskirts of the city, she quickly accepted the fact that her husband and eventually her old life was gone.

As the days passed and the number of survivors increased, Lori tried to move on with her life as best as she could. Carl needed her to be strong. However, she knew he needed a father figure in his life after he tried to accept his father's death. In a twisted way of events, it was Shane who helped picked up the pieces. A part of her felt horrible. Horrible for the fact that her husband's best friend, his partner, a brother in all but blood, was there for her. To make matters worse, she felt herself falling in love with him. She loved Rick of course. But she had to accept the fact he was gone. When Shane was there, her mind closed off to the harsh reality that her husband was no more.

However, Fate decided to play one cruel joke on her.

A day like any other. Some of the survivors, Glenn, T-Dog, Andrea, Morales, Merle, and Jacqui, went into town to look for more supplies. Shane knew that with an ever-growing group, there would be more mouths to feed and there was only so much Daryl could hunt without making noise. While she didn't mind the Dixon brothers, she wasn't the biggest fan of Merle. Not only was he a racist pig, but she also couldn't stand his sadistic behavior, Something that the younger Dixon brother lacked. Unlike Merle, Daryl kept to himself and barely talked to anyone if he could help it. It was only someone like Carol who could get the young hunter out of his shell.

When she heard Dale call out that they were on their way back as he looked to the highway through his binoculars, she expected the regular duffle bags of food and blood caked to their clothes.

Instead, Her husband walked out of the SUV Morales drove.

A wave of emotions washed over Lori. Anger, Hatred, fear, love, and embarrassment were just tipping the iceberg of her emotions as she, along with Carl, ran to Rick and embraced him in a hug. Rick would hug them back and cry in relief as his family was safe. Lori would turn around and watch as Shane silently hugged his friend and welcomed him back. While the Grimes patriarch knew no better, Lori could see a look in Shane's eye. A look that terrified her to her very soul.

She tried desperately to stop her affair with Shane now that Rick was back in her life. However, it wasn't so simple. It was as if Shane had her in a trance. The look in Shane's eyes would grow worse day by day as they fled the CDC building and out into the countryside of the state. When they arrived at Hershel's farm, the strain on Rick's and Shane's relationship grew worse and worse due to the disappearance of Sophia, Carol's daughter. As the days passed with no sign of Sophia, it was the surprising revelations of Hershel keeping Walkers in his barn that they finally learned the fate of the young girl.

Lori had hoped that this would be the end of things, leaving with the last milestone in her life to tell Rick what was going on between herself and Shane. However, the worst possible outcome came to fruition. Rick had found her plan B pills after she had learned she was pregnant. To make matters worse, Rick knew about her affair with Shane. With the situation of Randall ending as Shane killed him. It was the final straw.

Everything. Had just gone downhill afterward.

Now, the farm was up in a total blaze. Dozens of walkers slowly made their way into the fields by the minute. They were low on ammo and her husband and son were nowhere to be seen. She took Beth in her hand and ran from the house as fast as she could. The young blonde screamed in agony as she watched her mother being eaten alive by the Walkers. Lori wanted to help the poor woman, but there was nothing she could do. She only had five rounds left in her revolver and there were too many walkers for her to deal with alone.

Firing another round into another Walker's skull, Lori forcefully turned Beth around and looked around frantically. "CAROL!" She screamed as she noticed the elderly woman about to be surrounded by several Walkers. Desperate, Carol picked up a large stick and held it in front of her to protect herself. Lori tried to save the woman, but Beth, still frozen with fear, tried to pull herself back to save her father. Lori, picking up and aiming her revolver at another Walker's head, was about to pull the trigger until...

Several flashes of purple light burst into the light. The sound was deafening. It was as if several missiles were fired point-blank near her ears. However, the noise intensified with no sign of slowing down in the slightest. However, one thing was noticeable almost instantly. The dozens of Walkers that were closing in on their position were simply being deleted. At one moment, they were there. The next, however, they were turned into a red mist.

"EAT IT! GUTBAGS!" A gruff voice roared into the night as the deafening sounds intensified. Looking around, Lori noticed a man holding a strange glowing gun with both hands. The gun itself was something she did not know of. Granted, she wasn't a gun nut like her husband or Shane, but she knew enough and the basic lessons on how to hold one. However, the large gun of the man in front of her looked like nothing she had ever seen before. Wearing a brown leather jacket with several pouches and straps, as well as black combat pants and black boots, the man in front of her looked ready for war more than anything. His short brown hair waved in the wind while another glowing gun was on his back.

As much as the sight of her confused her, she wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. She turned and was about to run and help Carol and stopped.

"Come, Madam! We must leave now!" A Japanese man grabbed ahold of Carol and gently pushed her back into the wall behind her as two more Walkers came into view. Seeing this, the Japanese man quickly swung his Katana and sliced their heads in half. Unholstering a small pistol in his hand, he aimed the gun and fired at three more Walker's in the field. The Japanese man, wearing a tan combat suit and black boots, had metal bracers around his forearms to protect himself against Walker's that got too close to him. Carol herself stood frozen in fear as the man continued to kill the Walkers with his Katana.

"Who are you?" Lori asked. The man firing the large glowing gun kept firing at the ever-increasing horde of Walkers before joining her and Beth. Behind the group, The Japanese man sheathed his katana and took another large glowing gun off of his back.

"Sorry, lady! But right now isn't a time for chit-chat when freak bags are surrounding us! Just know where on your side!" The American man yelled before the Japanese man began to fire his equally loud weapon. It seemed like more and more the two men killed, several more would take its place. Flash after flash of purple light illuminated the darkness as the two men fired the large glowing guns into the night. However, with each passing moment, more and more Walker's would come towards them. Suddenly, a loud honking noise filled their ears as T-Dog and Andrea pulled up beside them.

"GET IN!" T-Dog screamed. Andrea hopped out of the truck and ran towards Carol and the Japanese man.

"DON'T JUST STAND THERE LADY! GET IN THE DAMN CAR!" The man screamed before jumping into the back of the truck. Getting out of her stupor, Lori practically pushed Beth into the truck before getting in herself and slamming the door shut. In the back of the truck, the man kept firing shot after shot while the Japanese man defended Carol. Andrea began to open fire, killing two of the Walkers as she ran to the woman.

"TAK! WE GOTTA GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!" The man screamed to the Japanese man. The man, which Lori presumed "Tak" was his name, Fired more rounds of his glowing gun before running towards the truck.

"Madam! We must leave!" The Japanese man yelled to the two women. Andrea, not bothering to fully comprehend where the man had come from, nodded as she ran towards the truck with Carol in tow. As they got closer, however, a Walker suddenly grabbed Andrea and through her to the ground.

"ANDREA!" Carol screamed. Andrea strained her muscles to push the Walker off of her before its head was eviscerated into a red mist. Andrea tried to push herself up from the ground but more and more Walker's began to surround her. Just as quickly as they surrounded her, they were turned into red mist by those purple bullets. The Japanese man tried to run in and help her off the ground, and yet, more of them continued to surround the group.

"Dempsey! Use the Thundergun!" The Japanese man yelled.

"I can't! The fucking thing will turn her into a paste with the rest of them!" The American, Dempsey, screamed back as he reloaded his weapon. Andrea managed to pick herself up off the ground and aimed her Berretta and fired two shots. She turned around and tried to run back to the truck, however, The sea of Walker came too much for the group to handle. The shot's the men fired into the night were attracting every Walker within the area and caused more and more to come toward the group. Looking around, she noticed Carol was picked up by Daryl before driving off into the night on the man's bike. Seeing no better option, Andrea turned around and fled into the woods.

"Leave her and Come on Tak! We need to get the fuck outta here!" Dempsey screamed. Cursing in Japanese, Tak shot several more bursts of his glowing gun before jumping into the back of the truck. "Okay! We are in! Drive!" Dempsey screamed as he and Tak were standing side by side and fired into the endless sea of the undead. Not needing to be told twice, T-Dog slammed his foot on the gas and sped off as the American and Japanese continued to fire into the night.

"Did you see that?" Glenn Rhee asked Maggie as they continued to circle around the farm. His nerves were shot. His entire being was on edge as Walker's poured in by the dozens. His girlfriend, Maggie Greene, drove around endlessly as Glenn tried to control the herd of Undead.

"How would I not see that!" Maggie screamed. It pained her heart to see her family's ranch burned to the ground and surrounded by the undead. However, the two men firing glowing guns were something that was nearly impossible to miss. She could still hear the deafening sounds of those weapons firing into the night as the truck fled into the night. "Should I follow them?" Maggie asked her boyfriend.

"I'd say yes! Turn here!" Glenn yelled as he aimed his shotgun out of the window and fired. As he cocked again, his eyes widened when he heard a clicking noise. "Shit I'm out!" He yelled as he began to roll up the window. Maggie turned the car and instantly stopped as the horde grew close and surrounded them. Everywhere they looked, it was a sea of Walkers, banging on the windows and windshield to get inside.

"I can't get through!" Maggie screamed as she tried to push the gas down further. However, the amount of undead that surrounded the SUV was too much for the car to push through. She tried to turn back, and the result was the same. The Walkers were simply everywhere. She wanted to scream. She wanted to cry. She didn't want to die at all. She slammed on the gas as hard as she could. She heard the engine of the SUV roar and the car slowly propelling them forward.

"We need to get off the farm, Maggie!" Glenn yelled to her.

"But the others!" Maggie interjected.

"It's gone, Maggie! We need to go now!" Glenn cut her off. Maggie was about to try again by pushing her foot down on the accelerator until...

"OI! DUMMKOPH'S!"

Suddenly, a bright flash of blue light raced through dozens of Walkers instantly. Their rotten skin instantly turned black as they were fried from the inside out by intense heat before dropping to the ground. Although the windshield was covered in blood, they can make out the image of a middle-aged man standing in the field away from the SUV. Wearing a bloodied white button-up shirt with an equally bloodied brown medical vest and several pouches decorating his body, The Middle Aged man aimed the large firearm in his hands and fired again.

Glenn was absolutely shocked as a large bolt of lightning fired from the weapon and shot into another walker that was surrounding the car. However, the impressive light show wasn't over as the bolt arched from one Walker into several others before they dropped to the ground. They fired another bolt before running toward the SUV. On Maggie's side of the SUV, the remaining Walkers were turned into a chunky red paste as a man dressed in brown armor fired round after round of a glowing shotgun into the horde. Shaking his head to get himself out of his train of thought, Glenn rolled down his window and looked at the middle-aged man.

"I don't know who the hell you are but get in before more show up!" The delivery boy screamed. To prove his point, more and more Walkers began to seep through the woods and towards the group. The middle-aged man raced towards the SUV at a speed that shocked Glenn and the other man fired two more shells before getting in the back seat beside the man. Looking back to Maggie, Glenn nodded for her to turn around and begin to leave the farm. Behind him, the middle-aged man opened the car door and shot two more rounds of lightning before the SUV sped off into the night.

"Oh My god... Oh my god." Maggie whispered in horror as the nights memories played in her head on repeat. She could still hear the growls of the undead beat down the car and surround herself and Glenn. If it wasn't for the two mysterious men that were sitting in the back seat, she knew she and Glenn would be goners. However, that still meant that her baby sister Beth, her father Hershel, and the rest of the group could still be stranded back at the farm.

"Alright, let's just... let's just circle back to the highway." Glenn pointed out as he too tried to calm his nerves down. The sun was beginning to rise. The heat was slowly filling the car as it continued to drive out of the woods.

"Did you see my dad? did he... did he make it?" Maggie asked her boyfriend who shook his head.

"I couldn't see anything." He replied.

"Beth... What about Beth? I lost Beth we gotta go back there."

"We can't go back there, Maggie. It's gone. There's nothing to go back too." Glenn countered before sighing. "Lori... I think she was still with Lori and Carol when everything happened."

"Patricia? Jimmy? What if they didn't make it!? What If NO ONE made it!?" Maggie almost screamed. Tears threatened to escape her eyes as the SUV fled out of the woods. Noticing this, Glenn sighed as he unbuckled his seatbelt.

"They made it... I promise they made it. We all came too far just to have it end as this" Glenn countered before closing his eyes. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes and looked out into the woods. "Pull over... I'll drive." He sighed. Not in the mood to argue, Maggie slowly came to a stop and put the SUV in the park before unbuckling her seatbelt and pushing herself into the passenger seat. Within a few seconds, Glenn got into the driver's seat and slammed the door shut behind him. Throwing his hat to the dashboard, he looked at Maggie who was beginning to cry. "Hey, Hey, Hey, Baby look at me." He told her as he gently pulled her face to him. "We made it... Okay? We made it. We're alive. I'm sure the others are too. They are probably waiting for us back at the highway." He continued. Maggie tried to pull away but Glenn wouldn't let her. "I love you... Maggie, I love you. I should've said it a long time ago and it's been true for a long time." He confessed. Maggie felt her breathing begin to relax as Glenn's words registered in her head. "We're gonna be alright. I promise." He smiled before turning and buckling his seatbelt and began to drive.

"I didn't thank either of you back there." Glenn looked in the rearview mirror at the two men who sat silently in the back seat. The man in the steampunk-like armor held the glowing shotgun in his hand while the Middle-Aged man wrote notes in a small book.

"Do not mention it. I do what I must to save a life." The man sitting behind him spoke in a heavy Russian accent.

"Kinda hard not to notice with you two carrying guns from a freaking video game." Glenn looked at the glowing weapons in their hands and on their backs. "Seriously, what the hell are they? They don't look like weapons I have seen before. If anything, It look's like you raided Area 51 for them." Glenn chuckled. If he were paying attention, he would've noticed the man who was writing in his notebook slightly flinch at the mention of such a place.

"I.. Invented them." The other man spoke with a German accent. Glenn raised an eyebrow at the man's words as he turned left on the pathway.

"You invented a weapon that shoots lightning bolts." Glenn deadpanned at the German man who coughed in his hand.

"Believe it or not... I am one of the scientists involved in Area 51 and Washington's defense and research program. Me and my allies are the only survivors." The man replied. Glenn felt his eyebrows raise in shock as they got out to the main road.

"Wait really? You mean there's more of you? Do you have any idea what caused this?" Glenn asked the million-dollar question that even had Maggie intrigued. He had heard several stories of what and how the outbreak caused the world to go to hell. Everything from mad cow disease to it being a man-made virus was tossed around during the first initial days of infection however, not even the CDC was able to crack the code. His hopes were dashed aside as the man shook his head with his eyes closed.

"My research was destroyed when I had to evacuate my facility. If I ever want to continue my research, I need to acquire samples of the undead." The man replied.

"So.. you are saying you can potentially fix this?" Maggie asked the man.

"I didn't say that." He replied. "Until I know and see samples of the Undead, Anything is possible." The man replied.

"I'll take that as an answer better than "no"," Glenn replied before looking back at the group through the rearview mirror. "Name's Glenn. Glenn Rhee." He introduced himself before looking at the woman beside him. "This is my girlfriend, Maggie Greene."

"Hi." Maggie introduced herself before looking back outside.

"Nikolai. Nikolai Belinski." The Russian introduced himself before pointing at the man beside him. "That is Dr. Edward Richtofen." Nikolai continued.

"Pleasure is mine." Richtofen introduced himself as he bowed slightly.

"Well, Welcome to the group I guess." Glenn sighed before they turned onto the freeway and began to head back towards Sophia's meeting space they had given her when they were looking for her. Nikolai silently looked back out the window and watched several destroyed and deserted cars pass by as they continued to their destination. All the while, Richtofen opened his diary and began to pencil in the days events.

Always wanted to try something like this. IDk. Should I continue it?

I know in canon, the cycle repeats when Primus is sent back to the great war. However, I don't think ill continue the Aether storyline here with BOTD, Alpha Omega, and TDT if I continue this, This would just be set in the TWD universe.

Yeah, I gave more depth to Tank and Nikolai's backstory for the lulz.

Pairing? idk. You guys pick If you want this to continue.
