Something inspired by Stand with Ward and Queen's other one-shots, where Warren gets his dues and one or two conversations with Aragorn II Elessar.
And before we get started, any power level comparisons comments and such shall be ignored and deleted since I don't care. Warren may have the strength but none of the skill and while it is debatable how strong average demons in Supernatural are in comparison to Warren's strength and Slayer's, Dean was no average demon at that point and he already was an experienced fighter as a hunter, plus, he had the Mark of Cain and Cain himself was already OP'd with the Mark on him, so any attempts to argue about power levels and such just shows your pettiness and immaturity, even though in terms of strength Slayers can overpower demons in Supernatural theoretically.
No. One. Cares.
Takes place during 10x01-02 of Supernatural and BTVS 6x19.
Disclaimer: I do not own Supernatural or Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
While on their road trip, Dean Winchester, now resurrected as a demon due to the Mark of Cain after his death and Crowley, the King of Hell, made a pit stop at Sunnydale, California in a club called The Bronze to fool around. Even though Dean and Crowley had heard the stories about The Slayer and it certainly would be fun to face her, it was just heat they didn't need, whether they would win or lose against her.
Dean and Crowley shared some drinks, were having some laughs, when Dean felt the pulsating feeling on his right arm. The Mark of Cain was hungering for another kill, though Dean was doing his best to suppress the urge, when he and Crowley heard some commotion and turned to see a scrawny dark haired man in brown leather jacket shove another man who was taller and bulkier shove across the floor. Warren turned to another man throwing a punch at him and caught his fist and broke his hand as the man fell down before the third man tried to smash a stool at him, only for it to break upon impact and Warren backhanded the man, sending him falling over the counter.
Dean and Crowley narrowed their eyes with piqued interest. No demon or vampire or any other supernatural monster, at least who had been around for a while and had some experience already as a supernatural being, would be so stupid to show off in public. So either this was a freshly turned monster or there was something more supernatural at hand of a human playing with forces he does not understand.
"Fascinating." Crowley said before turning to Dean. Someone needed a lesson at who was the superior as they smirked at each other. "You or me?"
"Let's party!" Warren cheered as he approached the counter.
"Been a while since I killed someone." Dean smirked as he approached and whistled, getting Warren's attention as he turned to Dean. "You wanna dance? Mind if I join?"
Warren just fumed and looked annoyed since Dean seemed like Frankie Warren had just taken down.
"Who do you think you are? You've got any idea who you're messing with?" Warren taunted.
"Buddy. You think you look strong? You're just a cheap fucking knockoff." Dean said.
"Boys!" The bartender shouted as Warren and Dean turned to him. "Take your problems outside. We don't need this here."
"Fine by me." Warren said.
"Whatever." Dean said.
They walked into the back alley and as soon as Warren saw an opening, fuming, he whirled around and threw a punch but Dean dodged, having expected it already before he backhanded Warren, sending him down on the pavement.
"That's all you got?" Dean taunted.
Warren got up, roaring in rage and throwing punches but Dean lazily retreated as he effortlessly avoided and deflected Warren's blows, though not without feeling at least some strain, since Warren was stronger than he should be, given his physique and that was when Dean saw the leather pouch strapped to Warren's belt, which must have been the source of his strength. As Warren threw another punch, Dean sidestepped and grabbed Warren by his arm and threw him to the wall, dazing him for a moment but that was all Dean needed as he reached for Warren's pouch and ripped it off his belt before Dean smashed the contents of the pouch against the wall as bright glow shone out, sucking some energy off Warren. As Warren recovered, Dean slammed his arm against Warren's neck and pinned him to the wall as Warren tried to struggle out, but to no avail as his strength left him and he struggled to breathe.
"You have no idea what you walked into here, do you? None." Dean smirked.
"What are you?" Warren choked out.
"I'm a demon." Dean said before his eyes turned pitch black briefly upon blinking before they turned normal and Warren paled, filled with utter terror.
Dean then reached for his jacket and pulled out what looked like a jawbone-shaped blade as Warren saw some red symbol on Dean's left arm glowing upon touching the blade. Warren gulped as he felt the metallic taste of blood in his mouth as Dean plunged the First Blade into Warren's heart and twisted, while Warren coughed with eyes full of fear and begging for mercy but Dean twisted as Warren gagged and spat out blood before Dean pulled the blade away and Warren's lifeless form slid down the wall and his head tilted aside as his eyes stared lifelessly onto the pavement.
With a fresh kill and the Mark of Cain satisfied, Dean sheathed the First Blade, while Crowley examined the shards of the orbs.
"The Orbs of Nezzla'Khan. That little chap was playing with things he doesn't understand. Bloody idiot." Crowley said.
"Not the first time stupid kids try to play with fire and burn." Dean said indifferently.
"We've made bigger mess than expected. I'd leave before the Slayer or someone else catches up with us. That's heat we don't need." Crowley said.
Dean considered and smirked. While it would have been fun to take on the Slayer, given the stories he had heard about her, he didn't really want to draw more attention to him and Crowley than they already had, alongside the chance that his own brother, Cass and other hunters might be onto him and catching up with him already.
"Whatever. I was tired of this place anyway. The demons and vampires here are wimps." Dean said.
"Not arguing with you there." Crowley said as he and Dean walked away, leaving Warren's corpse in the back alley.
Was Warren physically stronger than Demon Dean? Probably, but Dean had the experience and skills, plus, even before becoming a demon, Dean took on stronger foes than he was and with Dean being a Knight of Hell-class of demon with the Mark of Cain, Warren stood no chance here.
Plus, I couldn't resist Dean saying the same line Soldier Boy delivered to Homelander due to Jensen Ackles playing both characters *chuckles*
And to the idiot(s) whining about power levels: No one cares, so get lost and stay lost.
So, what do you guys think?
