Through my eyes

On Friday afternoon the mail arrived at 1187 Chestnut Street in England.
"Oi, Tegan you got some mail." Billy shouted.
"Cool, pass it over." Tegan said reaching over to Billy, Tegan's older brother.
She looked at the emerald green writing on the envelope, shrugged then opened it. She reached inside and pulled out two pieces of parchment.
"What is this?" She said as she read the writing on the parchment.
"Let me have a look," Billy said "Congratulations Tegan, you got in!" "Got into what?" Tegan asked, but Billy was already running to the stairs.
"Mum, Dad Tegan got in!" He shouted down the staircase. Tegan's mum and dad quickly ran up the stairs and gave her a big hug.
"What did I get into?" Tegan asked again, getting a little annoyed.
"Ok then I guess its time to tell her." Her dad said. "Tegan, you're a witch."
"What? You guys are kidding right?" Tegan said in disbelief.
"Nope, your Mother, brother and I are also witchs and wizards. Remember that boarding school Billy had to go to for a few years? That was Hogwarts, it's a school for young witchs and wizards so they can learn magic." Dad said.
"I'm actually surprised that you didn't get this letter a few years ago." Her mother said.
"How old are you suppose to be?" Tegan asked.
"Well they start at eleven years old and go to seventeen." Her mom said.
"But I'm already fifteen, shouldn't I have gotten one four years ago?"
"When you where eleven we tried to coax some magic out of you but we couldn't do it, we almost thought that you weren't magical at all." Her mom said.
"Wait, what day is it today?" Her dad asked.
"The 28th. Why?" Tegan replied.
"Your leaving in three days we've got to get you to Daigon Ally so you can get your stuff." Her dad said.

"Here it is, Daigon Ally." Tegan's mom said.
"Whoa." She said under her breath. "Umm, dad can I go and look around for a bit while you guys go and get a coffee?"
"Sure, meet us back here in half an hour."

Tegan was fascinated with the things they had here. She checked out the owls, flourish and bolts, and quality quittich supplies.
Just as she was going into Mr. Ollivanders wands, she walked right into someone.
"I'm so sorry I should have looked," She trailed off when she looked to see who it was. He was tall, maybe five nine, brown eyes, sandy haired, probably fifteen, and incredibly handsome.
"Sorry it was my fault." He said.
He stopped and looked at her.
"Whoa..." He whispered under his breathe. "Umm, my names Seamus."
" I'm Tegan." She replied.
"Nice to meet you," he said as he shook her hand " Do you go to Hogwarts?" he asked.
" This will be my first year but I'm a fast learner so they put me in fifth year." She said.
" That's cool, I'm fifth year too. Hey, umm...would you like to get some ice cream with me?" he asked.
"I'd love to."
"Great."

"So your parents even tried coaxing magic out of you but it didn't work?" Seamus asked.
"Yeah, it sucked a lot." Tegan said.
"heheheh." He chuckled to himself.
"What?" she asked playfully.
"Nothing." He said.
"Wait, what time is it? Tegan asked.
"Quarter too three, why?"
"Aww crap, I've got to go but I'll see you later. Ok?" she said.
"Ok, meet me in the second to last compartment on the train." He said. Then he stood up and kissed her on the cheek.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that." He said.
"No it's ok, I actually kind of liked it." She said.
They both just stood there for a second.
"Well, bye." She said, then she walked away.
"Bye." He whispered.

"Well, Tegan what do you think of the wizard world?" Her dad asked her on the way home.
"I think its going to be awesome." She said.
