Outside his mom's apartment, Andy walked to a window and stared at the kids outside standing in the rain. 'Who were they?' he wondered in his mind. He thought about what his mom said. 'You don't have to unpack or do anything tonight as long as you go out there and try.' 'Can you do that for me?' Her voice played in his head. Andy even questioned himself. "Can I do it?" He studied the 2 kids. He watched them talk and laugh. Laugh about what? Being stuck in the rain? Didn't they know that playing in the rain could make them sick? Maybe they didn't know. Maybe they didn't care. It was fun being a kid. Or maybe it wasn't. Andy stood there and watched the 2 kids laugh. 'What were talking about? What were they laughing about? I wanna know! I wanna join the fun!' After standing there for a while, Andy finally put his hood on his head and walked away to go outside. He was finally going to do it! He was finally going to talk to those mysterious kids outdoors! His mom had inspired him to do so! Andy took the elevator to go downstairs, he walked to the nearest exit, exited the building and then what? Andy thought about what he said himself. 'I don't know them! They could be anybody! They could be serial killers!' Was he right? So instead, Andy looked around outside and found the nearest bench. He found a seat in front of a store. Andy had a seat and thought some more to himself. "Mom came way out here for a fresh start. I don't think I like this fresh start. I miss the old place, my old friends. I don't have friends here. I wanna go back home!" Andy sighed with sadness. He wanted to cry. There was nothing to do at home. Watching TV sucked and he had no video games to play so his phone was his primary source of education and entertainment. Andy looked around on the ground, picked up a rock and threw it as if he was skipping stones. "This place sucks!"
