Sup everyone! lovely_essence here! This is my number 2 Harvest Moon Fic! I got reviews saying
to make it more "drama-istic" so I'll do my best! This here story is about Maria. She's not my favorite girl in the game,
(Karen rocks all the way) but I still think Maria is a sweet chick, and she needs to have more action in the game. Sooo,
I decided to write a fic on how life is for her. I'm still using the name Kevin for the guy, so dont freak.
Just so you know I didnt make Harvest Moon.... I had no part in it, NONE. So sue me. On the other hand, don't.
Ch 1
New Guy
"Daddy, I told you! Stop making my pancakes look like Mickey Mouse! I'm too old for that now...." I told
my father (for the 100th time).
"Oh, but honey. You'll always be my little girl... why does it matter what your pancakes look like?" Daddy
said absent-mindly, too busy with the pancakes.
"My question exactly! So please stop, ok?" I have no idea why I said this. It was pointless, after all.
"Of course, honey." he said, placing the pancakes on the table for me.
"I have to go to work. There is a young man who just moved into town... remember that nice old-man who
owned that farm? Well the young-man is the old man's grandson. I have to give him a tour of the city. Bye girls."
Daddy said, heading out the door.
"Bye dear," my Mother said.
"Bye Dad," I said, my mouth full of pancake.
I ate my pancakes quickly, eager to get to work. We were getting new books today... the children would be so
happy... and I love reading to them. I grabbed my purse. "Daddy, Mom, I'm leaving early today. We're getting
a shipment of new books, and I have to sign for them."
"Ok honey, have a good day... here's your lunch..." my Mom said, handing me a brown paper bag with
lady bugs drawn all over it. I felt like I was going to school.
"Mother..." I groaned, eyeing the lady bugs.
"What? Don't you like them?" she asked, her voice breaking.
"No, it's not that, bu...."
"Good," she said, cutting me off, "Now have a nice day dear! And if those mean boys come by again and
bother you, call me right away!"
Then I headed out the door.
"And this is the library, there are lots of good books on farming, and plenty other things, for that matter. Oh,
my daughter owns it too! And here she comes!" it was the Mayor, or, my father, as I know him.
"Hi Dad," I said, hoping he wouldn't say much.
"Dear, this is boy I was telling you about. His name is Kevin! Kevin, this is Maria." he said, accquainting
us.
"Hey." he said, wow, what a sexy voice.
I coughed. "Nice to meet you." I said, staring at my feet.
"Well, we better continue the tour." my father said.
"Later." he said, starting to walk off with my father.
"See you." I whispered, unlocking the door. "Aaah!" I screamed, falling to the floor.
Ooh, cliffhanger! You people gotta review to learn what happens next! Tell me, is it good? Was Maria a
good choice? Hope so. Now, go out there, and start reviewing!
