Wanted to try my hand on Oliver/Nyssa.
Takes place in the aftermath of 3x23.
I do not own Arrow.
After the threat of Ra's al Ghul and the Alpha/Omega virus was over, Oliver had decided to separate from Team Arrow temporarily, if only to give each other time. Laurel, Thea and Felicity had realized that they had let their feelings get the best of them, when Laurel had decided to take up Sara's mantle, despite that she was not even halfway as good as Sara and Thea realized how big of a mistake she had made by trusting Malcolm and leaving with him, despite what he had done to Robert, Moira, Tommy and other innocent people. Felicity and Diggle were both very angry at Oliver for trusting Malcolm more than them, but Felicity at least had the decency to be apologetic and realize her mistake, when she had kept questioning him at every turn and kept secret Roy staging his death and Ray building the Atom suit, despite that Ray was going to hunt Oliver down.
Diggle on the other hand, while civil, was too petty and bitter to get over Oliver kidnapping Lyla, while undercover, despite that Oliver had explained himself countless of times already, earning a stern lecture from Oliver, Lyla and the rest of the group. Felicity, Laurel and Thea at least realized their mistakes and were ready to meet Oliver halfway overtime, Diggle was a different matter altogether, given how big of a grudge he currently held.
Currently, Oliver was in his quarters in the fortress of Nanda Parbat, the home of the League of Assassins. He had made a deal with Malcolm to hand to him the leadership of the League but that was only what Oliver wanted Malcolm to hear to help Oliver, since Malcolm was the only one who knew the League better than anyone and as if Oliver would trust Malcolm of all people with the League.
Oliver, Nyssa, Laurel, Diggle, Felicity, Ray and Thea waited in the top floor of Palmer Tech as Malcolm approached.
"Oliver. As we agreed?" Malcolm asked.
Oliver reached out his hand and Malcolm took it but then grunted in pain as he felt the bones in his wrist crack before Oliver punched Malcolm in the groin and kicked him in the leg as Malcolm fell on his knees, while Team Arrow and Nyssa smirked, enjoying every second of it.
"That was for my father." Oliver said before he punched Malcolm in the face. "That was for Tommy."
Malcolm looked up at Oliver with glare full of relentless anger for his 'betrayal'. "Oliver—"
Oliver took a sword and impaled Malcolm's hand to the table as Malcolm howled in pain. "And that's for my mother and Thea. Did you really think that I would let you take over the most powerful army in the world after what you've put us all through? My parents. Tommy. All those innocent people in the Glades dead and scarring Thea and forcing Roy on the run because of you."
Malcolm turned to Thea with pleading look but Thea, while disturbed by her brother's brutality and Malcolm's punishment, wasn't in a forgiving mood either.
"And this is for Sara." Oliver finished before he pulled the sword and swung one last time as Malcolm's head fell off his shoulders and rolled on the floor and the body toppled as blood poured from the neck.
"Well, explaining this to the janitor will be fun." Ray quipped.
"Good riddance." Laurel said, satisfied to see justice served for Sara.
"So what now?" Thea asked.
"I thought that my mission would die with me but I see now that it's in good hands, even though some of us still have a lot of work to do and a long way to go. We need to learn to trust each other and not act like we know better and keep secrets from us, despite that they might affect us all." Oliver said, giving the whole Team Arrow a pointed look.
None of them could deny his points after Oliver had given Laurel a lecture about posing as Sara and being the Black Canary, despite that Laurel was nowhere as good as Sara and was barely able to take on a street thug and Thea had realized her mistake by trusting Malcolm more than Oliver despite what Malcolm had done to the entire family and Felicity had the decency to look ashamed after Oliver had given her the lecture about keeping secret Ray building the Atom suit despite that Ray's mission would affect Team Arrow and Felicity speaking out against Oliver at every turn, despite now fully aware of the threat of the League and Felicity's suicidal attempt to smuggle Oliver out of Nanda Parbat, though Diggle was still bitter over Oliver kidnapping Lyla, despite that Oliver had explained himself already and Diggle had received more than one lecture from Oliver, Lyla and everyone else regarding his grudge.
"I know we all have a long way to go, but I'm willing to give you a chance to earn my trust back. I just hope you can do the same and trust me again in time." Oliver said and Laurel, Thea and Felicity nodded, willing to try to make amends, though Diggle seemed still sour, much to everyone's annoyance.
Oliver stared outside the window, when he heard the door open and turned to see a dark-haired woman in a silk black robe.
"Husband." Nyssa said, though it was more of a formal title than expression of affection. While she loved Sara and men were not her preference, she had grown to respect Oliver, while he did the same with her.
"We both know you and I are not pleased with this marriage, Nyssa." Oliver said.
"Be that as it may, we are husband and wife now, Oliver, whether we like it or not." Nyssa said as Oliver saw the Ring of the Demon on her right hand in her finger. Oliver had grown to trust her more than Ra's… but he knew that on a certain level Ra's still had a hold on her, so it was better to keep her in check. "And I will be honest, while I do not love you and I think I never will, I respect you and admire you. I can see what Sara and my father saw in you now."
Oliver smiled appreciatively at her compliment.
"And as your… friend…." Nyssa said the word carefully. While she and Oliver grew to trust each other, could there be any love growing between them? "I need to know… how are you doing?"
"I'll be fine overtime." Oliver assured.
"Are you sure?" Nyssa asked and as Oliver looked into her eyes, he could swear she was… worried about him?
"Time heals most wounds." Oliver said.
"I'm not cold and heartless unlike my father." Nyssa said. "Though I… admit I have let my feelings regarding Sara get the best of me. For that I am sorry. What I did to you, your sister and Sara's and Laurel's mother."
Next thing Oliver knew, Nyssa reached for her waist and untied the knot as the robe opened and slipped down on the floor as she stood in front of him naked as the day she was born.
"What are you doing?" Oliver asked, caught off-guard, even though he couldn't help himself but admire his wife's perfect body, even though her arms were rather slim, her thighs were bit bulky and hint of abs forming under her round breasts with her athleticly formed chest and it was obvious that as the Heir to the Demon, Ra's had taken great care so that Nyssa would shape her body into physical perfection and beauty. While he wasn't really complaining about seeing Nyssa in the nude, considering that Nyssa was Sara's former lover and Oliver was also Sara's former lover and now that he and Nyssa were married, this just reached several levels of awkwardness that only Oliver seemed to feel, not Nyssa.
"We have not even consummated our marriage yet, husband." Nyssa said as she placed her arms around Oliver's neck, pulling him in for a kiss.
Oliver was a bit taken aback as their lips touched but he didn't really resist before he gave in as they began kissing, while she began unbuttoning his shirt before she took off his pants as the clothes fell on the floor. They both laid down on the bed and Nyssa gasped as she felt Oliver's length in between her legs and he slowly pulled in and out of her as he placed one hand upon her thigh, another behind her back. She then wrapped her arms around his neck and moved her hips in time with his. She then laid her lips upon his and they fell into deep passionate kiss as their hips moved in perfect rhythm before Nyssa flipped them over to place herself on the top as she moved her hips in a rapid pace and Oliver saw her breasts jumping up and down and he ran his hands down her shoulders to her breasts as she let out a moan of pleasure before she placed a hand down on her abdomen, massaging her womb to reach the peak of her pleasure before she leaned forward as Oliver kept thrusting in and pulling out. They kissed fiercely as Nyssa's hands traced across Oliver's scarred chest and he moved towards her breasts and gave them a squeeze as Nyssa let out a loud and deep moan. Oliver continued massaging Nyssa's breasts, alternating between soft caresses to slightly more aggressive touches. Through it all, her pants and moans became longer and more frequent, culminating into involuntary spasms of her hips. Oliver then tilted his head down and began nibbling and sucking at her nipple as Nyssa's head lolled back.
Oliver then made his way up and began nibbling at her neck, causing her to moan within his ear as her hands traced across his back. He kept on pushing in and out, causing her to moan even more deeply and with his right hand he squeezed her breast and with the other her left butt. She wrapped her legs around, forcing him to go in deeper, making her moan even more deeply. He slowly began to gain speed and soon the entire room was filled with their moans until finally they both pulled away and with a deep breath Oliver fell to her side. Both them were completely exhausted and Nyssa snuggled up close towards him, placing her head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around her. Gripping his shoulders tightly, she felt his free hand wander downward toward her butt. Her eyes were shut closed now and her mouth was opening and closing wordlessly. Her body trembled with desire and her hips continued an incessant rocking against Oliver's fingers as he manipulated her body. A swirl of his tongue at her nipple caused her to twitch. A finger teasing her entrance made her toes curl. A calloused hand gently massaging brought out a sigh.
Suddenly, he pulled away and everything stopped.
Nyssa growled in frustration and opened her eyes to glare at him as he chuckled in amusement as they laid down next to each other with heavy pants escaping their mouths and their chests rising and falling in exhaustion, sweat pouring from their skin and soaking into the bedsheets.
"I must admit… this was quite exhiliriating first time." Nyssa said.
"With a man?" Oliver asked and Nyssa nodded.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm not into women exclusively, I have met my share of good men but… we never shared a true connection and no man ever earned enough of father's approval to be my match." Nyssa said.
"Before me." Oliver said, a bit boastful as Nyssa playfully nudged him.
"But tell me, where does this go?" Nyssa asked, turning to him.
"I admit, while it would be interesting to be together, I think that considering Sara, it's… awkward." Oliver said and Nyssa could see his point. "Maybe under different circumstances but… I guess there's too much history between us. I want to see where this goes but we have different paths to follow. And we both know I'm not really someone fit for the League."
Nyssa nodded. "Though that doesn't mean we can't be together at all. While there is some awkward history, we can work through this, can't we?" She asked.
"Maybe." Oliver said as they kissed again, holding each other by their cheeks before pulling away. "I'm not sure if I'd call it love yet but wherever this may go, I want to see it through."
"I'm willing to try." Nyssa said as Oliver looked outside. "You have a mission to protect your city. I and the League have a mission to protect the world. Our paths may cross again but… I suppose they will go separate now."
Oliver then turned to her. "Maybe… but we can always say 'goodbye' tomorrow."
Nyssa smiled as they kissed again, bathing in the glow of the moonlight. "I'm good with that."
Oliver/Nyssa under different circumstanceswould be interesting, since they have a lot in common. They hold a certain level of respect towards each other due to being warriors and given the extreme lengths they would go to for the people they love, there is a lot of potential there and there are moments when you would think that Nyssa would make a move at Oliver.
Plus, it has never been explicitely stated that Nyssa was exclusively into women, maybe the only slight hint was Harkness flirting with Nyssa and her threatening him with Malcolm adding "You're not her type anyway."
And let's not get started on how terrible in Season 3 Team Arrow had become and I was not in the mood to write some infighting with Team Arrow. Diggle would be petty and angry at Oliver and while Felicity was horrible in Seasons 3-5 and there were still some issues with her in later seasons, imagine Felicity in here like in the later seasons, where she is a bit more tolerable, if annoying but at least has the decency to admit she was in the wrong. Let's not get started on Felicity talking back at Oliver and keeping secret from him Roy faking his death and Ray building the Atom suit, despite that Ray's vigilantism was clearly going to interfere with Team Arrow.
Plus, after what Malcolm had done, he absolutely deserved to die in Season 3, Oliver letting Malcolm live and letting him take over the League was beyond stupid, even more when it could have been an interesting storyline in Season 4 but the writers, Guggenheim and Mericle, did nothing with the League until the pointless League civil war in 4x13 and Malcolm switching sides, which was just dumb and his redemption fell flat after brainwashing Thea again and kidnapping William. Just for killing Sara Malcolm deserved to die.
