Pumpkin

"Can you explain to me again why you need so much pumpkin?" Paul asked, seeing Bella dance around his kitchen. "You made me buy pumpkin purée, Swan! Do you know what this has done to my reputation?"

Bella laughed and Paul smiled at seeing her so happy. When it came to his imprint, there was nothing he wouldn't do—not that he would let anyone know that.

"I told you already. I'm making pies, cupcakes and soup," Bella replied, coming over to him and hugging his waist. "Don't you love it when I bake something for you?"

Paul looked into her eyes and was lost; who cared about pumpkin when he could have his wicked way with his imprint? Without losing time, Paul leaned down and kissed her square on the lips, making her yelp in surprise.

"I love when you bake something, that's true, but I love even more when you're in my bed," Paul growled, kissing her jaw, loving the sound of her heart racing in her chest. "What do you say, baby? Forget the pumpkin, and let's go to bed."

Bella softly moaned and Paul almost let out a victory cry, but an alarm ringing in his kitchen distracted her again.

"The pie's done!" Bella said before sprinting to the kitchen right out of his arms.

This is all wrong; she should be running towards him, not in the opposite direction. Defeated, Paul trudged towards the kitchen. Leaning against the doorframe of the kitchen, he smiled, seeing her so at ease in his house.

Paul had never imagined he would be so domestic. He was never the type of man who would commit to someone, but with Bella, everything was different. He wanted everything with her, and if it meant buying pumpkin purée, then hell, he would do it for her.

"The soup is already done, it just needs to be heated when we're hungry—or when it's time for dinner, since you're always hungry." Bella said, turning to look at him. "This was the last pie I made, so I'm pretty much done here."

Paul walked towards her, looking every bit the predator he was. Bella, to her credit, didn't even bat an eye. She smiled at him.

"And why would you tell me this, Swan? Do you have any ideas on how we should spend our time before dinner?" Paul wound his arms around her waist, leering down at her.

Bella put her arms around his neck, bringing him closer to her. "I can think of a few things."

Before Paul could reply, Bella stepped up on her tiptoes and kissed him. He would buy her a thousand cans of pumpkin purée, just to keep kissing her.
