Chapter 1: Running Away
It has been two years since Mowgli has left the jungle and started a life in the human village. However, he still has not accustomed to the way how humans live. Since he came into the village, bare naked, the villagers tried to force him wear clothes. They've succeeded to at least make him wear a red loincloth to hide his manhood.
The villagers had mixed feelings about him. While some welcomed the Jungle boy, others looked at him cautiously, with some fear, or even with disdain. Still, Mowgli didn't have many friends; usually hanging around with his adaptive brother Ranjan and Shanti, especially with Shanti. He would try to hang around with her every time and every day.
Anybody in the village could tell that Mowgli had a crush on Shanti. From her pretty face to the curves she recently developed, he would fantasize all about her late at night and pray that his wet dreams would come true. Naturally, the man-cub couldn't help but think of both her buttocks and breasts when he peaked on her stripping for a bath. Mowgli had once caved into temptation and was thankful to have gotten away with it too. Needless to say, he could feel his groin become stiff as tree branch and see the head almost peeking out of his trademark red loincloth as soon as he thinks about her.
Ever since she met Mowgli, Shanti had dreamed of life in the jungle. She dreamed of a life of freedom and adventure, living with the animals, and free of the sexism that dominated the village. For years she had dreamt of that perfect moment, where she could run into the wilderness and never look back. However, her human instincts always called her back. Same thing happened recently when she stopped Mowgli from leading the other kids into the jungle, only for her to unintentionally rat him out.
As Mowgli headed back to the hut where he lived with Ranjan and his family, he was exceedingly angry, hurt and betrayed by Shanti's ratting him out. All he wanted to do was show the children of the village the wonders of the jungle, but that green-eyed girl had to ruin everything and now he was going to be punished for just being who he was. Once he approached the hut, the 12-year-old half-naked boy groaned in frustration as Mohan wasn't alone. With him were the other people who assisted Mohan in running the village; the lead hunter and the local priest, and a few others. Two years ago, 10-year-old Mowgli first met them on his second day in the human village as they were attending a meeting to start preparing the village for winter, despite the fact it was only late summer. When it comes to the winters in India, you wouldn't really call them winters, as it's usually a season of endless rains, lashing everyday, but not that cold enough for a jungle boy running around naked as the day he was born. Mohan explained to Mowgli that since their village is built at a river bank, measures should be taken as the heavy rains can lead to the river overflowing and floods, and they need time to have everything ready.
As he explained this to the boy, Mohan also introduced Mowgli to the priest and lead hunter. The elders and Mowgli immediately disliked each other. It wasn't Mowgli's fault, nor was his fault that he ended up in the jungle as a baby in the first place, but the elders looked at the Jungle boy with disdain, calling him a savage boy, or even a jungle spirit. Mowgli, despite trying to be as much polite to them as possible, began despising them too. He despised the hunters for killing animals in the jungle, first of all, wolves, the kin of the pack that raised him along with Bagheera. He disliked the priest for treating him as a threat to the village.
"Mohan, we need to talk." the priest spoke not before making a deadly glare to Mowgli.
"That boy you adopted, Mohan, almost put the lives of our children in danger!" one of the elders declared, much to Mowgli's concern as he listened in from his room of Mohan's hut.
"He tried to lure the children into the jungle and consume their souls!" another one added, making Mowgli almost yell in anger as he would never willingly endanger the children of this village. Mohan sighed in annoyance.
"I understand your concerns, gentlemen, and I am well aware of what he did. But he's just a child." Mohan tried to speak as calm as he could, but it was obvious that the elders were picking on his nerves.
"He is nothing but trouble." the hunter argued. "Everyday, he causes nothing but trouble. He doesn't work at all, despite that all of his peers at his age begin working either hunting, growing crops, plough, or herd our cattle. All he does is play like a little monkey, no discipline at all."
He is a demon! He is a devil of the jungle. WE HAVE TO KILL HIM!" one of the elders was basically squealing.
"Mowgli is no demon, he's just a child." Mohan said trying to reason with the ignorant elders who glared.
"A demon in the form of a child. Some believe that he is the offspring of that tiger-demon." the squealing elder interjected.
"That demon must be eliminated, we must kill him before he kills us all." the zealous priest agreed.
"Blood is unnecessary," the lead hunter told the zealous elders. "All Mowgli must do is to leave the village. The sooner, the better. We cannot have blood of our young on your hands, great leader."
"Enough!" Mohan's voice was filled with rage that made some of the elders twitch in fear. "What I do with Mowgli is my business, not yours! He's my responsibility, blood or no blood, and I will decide what his punishment should be. This conversation is closed and I don't want to hear another word about it. We have gathered here to discuss the recent attacks on our cattle. Our boys, herding the animals, cannot even defend themselves against the wild beasts."
"It's all that jungle boy! He's causing the plague, somehow controlling these savage beasts attacking out cattle."
"I said enough." Mohan said before turning to the lead hunter. "I want you and your hunters teach the lads how to use bows and arrows, whether they are destined to become hunters or farmers, and also these guns of yours."
"We don't have much rifles, and each one is vitally dear." the hunter answered, as Mohan noticed him increasing his grip on his prized 1877 Martini-Henry rifle. Suddenly, Messua ran into the chambers, crying for help.
"Messua? What's going on?" Mohan asked his wife.
"Mowgli's gone. I can't find him. I called and I called, but he isn't here. He is not in the village." Messua said with tears in her eyes.
"We must find him. He could be anywhere in the village, or perhaps even-." Mohan said before the hunter spoke up. "Leave him be, Mohan. He had his chance to leave this village and he took it. I say good riddance, he never belonged here."
As the whole village discovered that Mowgli the Jungle Boy ran away, Shanti felt guilty as she approached the village entrance. She never meant to get Mowgli into so much trouble, she was just trying to keep him safe, for in her mind the jungle was a dangerous place. Not that long ago she admitted that she had a crush on Mowgli, though she wasn't sure if it was love, as her mother told her that they were too young for love. However, she began to understand that it was more than just a crush, it was love. She decided to go out and find Mowgli. If possible, she could bring him back. Though, she admitted, that she would have left the village too, as she was tired of the limited rights a female had in the village.
Mowgli meanwhile, ran deep into the jungle. He cried as he ripped off his hated loincloth, throwing it away. He had hated wearing that thing from the moment he came into the village, the moment he met Shanti when she was fetching water, the moment he fell in love with her. Part of him regretted leaving the man village, the other part of him was saying that he never belonged there. Most of the village thought that he was crazy or even feared by him because he had come from the jungle.
However, as much as he wanted to forget everything about the human village, Shanti was on his mind. Although he was angry at her for ratting on him, he still was in love with her. He just wanted to show her how beautiful and wonderful the jungle could be.
"Oh man…why did it had to be this way? Well, Mowgli…I guess you've wanted to come home and here I am." Mowgli said to himself as he felt relieved to be out of that loincloth. This time forever. Just as he was about to head deeper into the jungle, still thinking about Shanti, he felt his groin become stiff as tree branch. He almost wished the girl of his dreams could service him down. With nobody around, Mowgli smirked as he began lovingly stroking the shaft slowly, but surely. He began to imagine Shanti stripping before her bath only for Mowgli and just for Mowgli. He was deep in his fantasy, massaging his throbbing dick and picturing Shanti's mouth slurping on it like an endless noodle.
"Mmmm…S-Shanti!" Mowgli slowly let out, with a sign of desire, as he continued to pleasure himself. Suddenly, he heard a voice.
"Mowgli? Mowgli?" Shanti's voice called out, much to Mowgli's surprise as he turned around to see Shanti coming towards him.
"Shanti, what are you doing here?" He asked in a surprised, yet angry tone of voice.
"Mowgli, I'm sorry that I-" Shanti said trying to apologize before she saw that Mowgli was completely naked like the first time that they had met and tried to look away. "You're naked!"
"Just like the first time that we met, huh?" Mowgli asked, grinning. "When I was naked, you were fetching water, washing your clothes…you were also singing."
Shanti giggled in response, while trying to hide her emotions. While she was disturbed with seeing Mowgli naked again, she really missed his nude body. She then told the boy the reason she came.
"Mowgli, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry for getting you in trouble. I was just trying too hard to turn into something that you weren't. Do you want to come back to the village or not?"
Mowgli stood there in silence for a few minutes as he was trying to make a tough decision. Of course, he wanted Shanti, but he also wanted freedom; free to play, to be naked, just like his home, the jungle.
"No, Shanti. I can't go back. You heard them, I don't belong there and the jungle is my home, where I belong."
He expected sadness, and maybe even anger from Shanti. What Mowgli did not expect was what he saw next; Shanti began removing all her clothing starting with her red waist belt and then her pink strapless dress. Once she was done, Shanti was now as naked as the boy she was in love with.
"Shanti, why are you naked?" the boy asked her, immediately infatuated with her body. Shanti smiled.
"Well Mowgli, I wanted to live in the jungle with you, and since you're naked, I thought it would be fair for both of us to be naked."
"But I thought you were afraid of the jungle, Shanti?" Mowgli asked in confusion, though he could barely concentrate as Shanti stood there in all her naked glory.
"To be honest, I am still somewhat afraid of it. But I want to start a life with you, and I love your stories about the jungle." Shanti began explaining. "I'm tired of being told what I can't do and what I must do, just because I'm a girl. I want to more like you, Mowgli, be free, live my life, even if it means living dangerously. Because I love you."
"Shanti, I love you too. I love you, ever since I first met you. Back then when I did not knew what love was." Mowgli answered and with that he leaned towards her face, pressing his lips against hers. Shanti mentally moaned in pleasure once it was confirmed that Mowgli loved her, just as she loved him. Mowgli was touched and beyond happy that Shanti loved him, as she was sacrificing too much to be with him, betraying the village and its outdated laws and ways of life. It felt good to kiss Shanti and to be back in the jungle, this time with the girl he loved. He was happy to have her with him, and more happy to be naked with her in his jungle home.
Once they broke their kiss, the two naked 12-year-olds smiled at each other.
"So let's make a new life in the jungle together, so that we're always together and naked for each, just for each other." Mowgli said, happy that most importantly is that she will always be naked, for him and only for him.
"Let's stay here and make the rest of our lives with it." Shanti claimed. Together, they started to head deep into the jungle, their new home.
