This short story is inspired by the scene in the kitchen in episode 3 where Greta is helping Carson wipe off beer from her dress and tries to kiss Carson again but gets rejected with the words "I am not like you". at the beginning of episode 4 we see a montage of Carson and Greta sneaking way to make out, but I am not so sure the beginning went as smoothly as it seems.

Note: This is the first queer shipping story I am posting, so please be open-minded to it.

The entire team is sitting in the living room and enjoying a beer. Carson and Greta are sitting on opposite sides of the room, but Carson can't stop sneaking little peaks at Greta. Greta doesn't seem to notice Carson at all. She is seeming to have a lot of fun chatting and laughing with Jo and some of the others. Carson is sitting by herself. She mostly just wants to get up and sneak away with Greta, but that doesn't seem to be on Greta's mind right now. It is starting to get late, and Carson is not really in the mood to mingle more for the night. She decides to call it a night and get up. She says good nights to the team and walks to the kitchen with her empty beer bottle.

Carson enters the kitchen and places her empty beer bottle on the table. She takes a moment to look out the window and up at the dark sky with the shining moon. The moon is so big tonight. Suddenly Carson feels someone behind her. At first, she gets stunned and lets out a small scream. Her heart beats heavily in her chest until she recognizes the familiar hands sliding around her waist in a flirty hug while she starts feeling a warm breath on her neck and the so-familiar smell of Greta's cigarettes.

"You thought you could just go to bed without me noticing you?" Greta whispers in her ear in between placing flirty kisses down Carson's neck. It causes Carson's entire body to shiver at the feeling of Greta's warm breath on her neck.

"You scared me," Carson whispers while looking at their reflection in the window. Her stomach gets filled with butterflies when she looks at Greta's eyes and when she feels Greta's arms hugging her from behind. "don't you want to go back into the others?" Carson asks looking into Greta's eyes through the reflection in the window. "Do you want me to leave you alone?" Greta asks uncertainly and starts to loosen her hug around Carson. "no" Carson quickly says and places a reassuring hand on top of Greta's that is resting on Carson's stomach. "You seemed to have a great time with Jo tonight," Carson says. "I was," Greta says and places a soft kiss on Carson's neck. "You didn't," Greta says concerned. "You noticed?" Carson asks surprised. "You noticed?" Carson asks. "hmmm" great response against Carson's neck. It brings out a soft smile on Carson's lips knowing that Greta actually noticed her but also the feeling of the vibration from Greta's voice gives Carson a shiver. "You were looking at me every 10 seconds," Greta reveals and it makes Carson feel a bit embarrassed that Greta had actually noticed. At first, Carson wants to object that it was definitely not every 10 seconds but before she can object Greta says, "I like the way you sneak little peaks at me." Carson feels a blush on her cheeks. She wants to hide it but a reassuring soft kiss on her cheek from Greta makes her not do it.

"I really wanted to sneak away with you tonight." Great whisper in Carson's ear after a moment of pleasant silence. Carson turns around in Greta's arms and looks into Greta's brown eyes. "Really?" Carson asks. Greta's smile says more than her words could. "Why didn't you just make an excuse to pull me away?" Carson asks with a suggestive tone and a smirk on her face.

"Because…" Greta starts with sadness in her voice and walks to the other side of the kitchen table while looking down at the floor. Carson gets a bit worried now that she might have been too seductive. Every time I have come on to you, you pushed me away." Greta says with sadness and disappointment in her voice and even more sadness in her eyes.

"I am sorry," Carson says and walks over to Greta and takes Greta's hand. "I promise I won't do that again."

"Until the next time, you might get spooked and push me away," Greta says with an angry tone. Carson looks down at the floor with despair. Greta waits a moment for Carson to say something. When Carson appears frozen on the spot Greta signs heavily.

"You know what… I was pretending to have a good time but most of all… all evening I was thinking about you." Greta says with anger and sadness in her voice. "Good night, Carson," Greta says hurt, and walks towards the door leading into the adjoining living room where the latter is still heard from the teammates. Greta is stopped when she gets pushed lightly forcefully up against the wall and her body gets pushed towards the wall by Carson pushing herself as close to Greta as possible. Carson has one hand firmly placed in Greta's dark curly hair and the other one grabbing lightly but firmly around Greta's wrist. All this while Carson is kissing Greta with so much passion and feelings that it is making Greta's heart skip a beat. Greta is completely surprised by Carson's sudden bravery to express her feelings for Greta. It is a long slow passionate and heated kiss and once they finally break the kiss for needed air, they are both stunned. "wow" is all Greta manages to say and they both just smile at each other.

"Do you believe now I am not going to push you away again?" Carson asks while she is trying to control her heart which feels like it is about to beat out of her chest. "I think so," Greta says without a smile. "Think?" Carson asks confused. She was convinced that Greta would have a big smile on her face and be fully convinced now. "I might need another one of those to convince me," Greta says, and a big smile breaks out on her lips and a small laugh when Carson's face goes from worried confusion to a relieved smirk. "You really know how to mess with my head," Carson admits a little shy. "I kinda like how you react," Greta admits with a smile. It makes Carson blush and looks away from Greta when she starts blushing. Carson takes a step away from Greta to try and hide her blush. "Hey," Greta says to get her to make eye contact again. "It is okay. Don't be shy." Carson finally makes eye contact with Greta again after a moment. "Go to bed. You can fully convince me another day." Greta says with the same suggestive look and voice Carson used earlier. It makes Carson smile nervously. Greta places a soft kiss on Carson's cheek as she walks by her and back into the living room to the others. Right before the door closes behind her, she looks back at Carson with a soft smile and a knowing look that makes Carson feel warm inside and her heart beats fast.
