Yusuke managed to deliver the omega's food without incident before returning to work. But he still kept a close eye on the omega anyways since he had a bad feeling that something would happen. And sure enough, nearly ten minutes into her meal- a couple of drunk Alpha's got up and started to make their way to the back where she was located.
Yusuke had just seen the men turn into the back and heard the bark-like sound of an Alpha using a command in Alpha voice, and he quickly jumped over the counter to go and put a stop to whatever the idiots were trying to do.
He had seen all manner of horrors from the time that he'd been very young. And knew just how terrifying things could get for an omega given a command. Especially since Alpha voice practically made sure that the intended person couldn't fight the command.
So, when he made his own way over to save the omega, he was weirdly surprised to find her standing up from the table where she'd been eating. It was typical of most Alpha's to give an omega the command to drop to their knees so that they could assault them.
But in this case, whatever command was given hadn't put the girl on her knees. It was a small blessing. Especially, given the fact that he had no idea what she'd been commanded to do. Yet it was no less worrying to him.
He moved up to the nearest Alpha and put the bastard in a choke hold.
He wasn't very nice about it either. He made sure that the son of a bitch in his grasp knew that he was going to have trouble breathing for a while after tonight.
"Hey, assholes." He snapped aloud since the other men hadn't looked away from the omega yet.
It took them a moment longer than he liked. And his fists positively itched to smash their stupid skulls in. But they finally looked at him, their expressions startled since they hadn't thought that anyone would be interrupting them. Least of all him.
"How about you guys get the hell away from the nice girl. And get out of my restaurant before I throw each of your sorry asses out by force." He growled as he bared his teeth at them a bit in a nightmarish parody of a smile that was known to send even demons like his buddy and packmate Hiei running for cover.
And that was saying a lot considering that Hiei was one of the most unshakable people that he'd ever met.
For god's sake the man had nerves made of more than just steel. He would have to, in Yusuke's opinion. Especially since he and Kurama were courting and living together now.
"Mind your own business Urameshi," One of the Alpha's closest to the girl snapped and then turned back to face the omega. "An unescorted omega is fair game, and you know-ack!" He yelped as he suddenly hit the ground coughing and hacking as if he were choking.
Yusuke blinked, startled by the fact that one of the men just went down and his eyes widened with the realization that the omega had just dropped the guy without being seen by him or the other Alphas.
Weirdly enough, a hysterical giggle escaped him as he watched the girl step up to the next Alpha and drop his ass too. She was vicious about it too.
Using one of her chopsticks to stab the second man through the hand and then once he was distracted by the fact that he'd been stabbed- she backhanded him and then used her foot to crush one of his knees from the back of the joint while grasping the guy's hair and then slamming his face onto the table and rendering him unconscious.
Which only left one dumbass Alpha left.
And believe it or not, Yusuke was so thoroughly freaked by what was going on that he decided to use the guy in his grasp as a shield. Just in case she decided to come after him next.
He peeked around his shield's body to see how she would deal with the next Alpha- because he was nothing but morbidly curious right then. And saw her use one of her other chopsticks to pin the guy to the wall by his shoulder. Literally. And then knocked him out when he opened his mouth to scream with a harsh uppercut to the bottom of his jaw that caused several of his teeth and some blood to come flying out of his mouth.
Once that was done, she turned her attention to he and his shield and Yusuke would swear, on a Bible no less, that he was pretty sure that he pissed his pants when she raised her hand to motion for him to let her take his shield from him.
Yet since she wanted the Alpha in his gasp instead of him, he was also all too happy to hand him over before he dived for the side of the table and hide while he quickly fished his cell phone out of his pants pocket and dialed Kurama's number with shaky fingers.
She dealt with the last Alpha just as swiftly as she did the others before finally turning her attention to him and another chill skittered down his spine as he finally heard her say, "It's okay to come out now."
Which had him peeking over the top of the table at her with wide frightened eyes before asking, "Are you sure it's safe? You're not going to do anything to me, right?" He paused for a moment before tacking on in a rush. "Cause my wife will have a fit if I wind up black and blue again."
"I have no intention of doing anything to you." She said patiently. Speaking to him as if she would a terrified child.
He wasn't exactly sure why, but he believed her. Which went a long way to calm him down enough to come out of hiding just enough to survey the damage to the Alpha's and the rest of the back room of his restaurant and mutter a few choice words of utter shock and disbelief underneath his breath before turning back to her and seeing what she was doing now.
She had a wallet out and was digging out a wad of money bigger than anything that he'd ever seen before and was also pulling out a card of some kind before saying again. "I'm sorry about the trouble. You have a really nice place. I feel bad for this happening. Especially since I was really enjoying my meal."
He frowned and nudged one of the Alpha's with the toe of his shoe before saying, "S'not your fault that these guys were trying something... They antagonized you. Not the other way around. Besides, this still would have happened even if you hadn't been the one to throw the punches."
"It still shouldn't have happened."
He agreed with her on that part. It shouldn't have. But Alpha's were problematic creatures and that was hardly her fault. He didn't bother to voice his thoughts on the matter though since he doubted that she was going to listen to him.
He felt her gently tug on one of his shirtsleeves and turned his head to look at her curiously and noted that she was holding that big wad of cash out to him along with the card that she'd pulled out.
"Here. Hopefully this will be enough to take care of paying for the food and the damages. But just in case it isn't, I'm giving you my business card too."
Yusuke balked a bit at taking the money and card from her. Which he felt was perfectly natural considering that he now knew that those dainty little hands of hers were incredibly deadly weapons. But as much as he balked...he knew that not taking the money and card may make her angry again.
And frankly he would like to avoid that at all costs for self-preservation's sake.
Reaching out hesitantly, he took the money and card from her and watched as her expression lit up as she smiled at him as she said, "If the money isn't enough to pay for the damage, you can use the address on the card to find me."
"Yeah sure."
"Thanks again." She said as she turned and started to walk off.
Likely to leave before something else occurred. Not that Yusuke could blame her any, the current situation was nothing less than a horrible mess. And not something that an omega would want anything to do with. Yet even so...he couldn't help but glance down at the card in his hand while making his way through the small hallway leading to the bathrooms and even further to the back door.
Just because he knew that she was a badass, and menacing as fuck, didn't mean that he wasn't still going to make sure that she got home safe. He was just going to keep his distance about it.
