Prologue

In a residential home in Canada, a young 5 year old girl and a 9 year old boy are watching kids television at night. The 9 year old boy was laughing from the entertainment of the show while his younger sister watched on with curiosity.

"Tamu. Valentia." called a young woman as she came to the living room. This woman has light brown tan skin with black hair and wears a white vest with an African blanket around her waist. "It's time to go to bed."

"Awww…" groaned a 9 year old named Tamu. "Can I stay up for a little longer? I'm older and I can do whatever I want." he stood up on the couch and placed both hands on his hips looking proudly. His mother giggled a little.

"Yes, but you're not that old." said the mother as she came up to them. "You're still young and you need to sleep. Look at your little sister, she seemed to be half asleep." she gestured to a 5 year old who is named Valentia, feeling a little sleepy as she tries to wake herself up. "Come on, you need to sleep so you can regain your energy by tomorrow."

"Fine…" said Tamu reluctantly. Their mother picked them up in her arms and headed over to their room. The room is a little small but a nice place for the two siblings. The mother first places Valentia in bed, who awakens from feeling a different environment. Then, she places Tamu in bed, still feeling a little grumpy from not staying up for the night.

"Good night, you two." said the mother as she kissed both their foreheads before she was about to leave their room. Tamu then had something in his mind.

"Mommy?" asked Tamu, causing his mother to stop. "Can you tell us a story...about Atiena Howler and how she gets her powers?" The mother smiled at the young boy's request.

"Alright then…" said the mother as she came and sat on the bed, facing her children. "Let me tell you the tale about her. "You see…Atiena Howler wasn't the first wielder of The Eyes of Jandra…"

Flashback

The scene changed by a purple mist that suddenly came out of nowhere.

"In the early days of Wakanda, not long after Bast made the original Black Panther who he was, the Wakandan Wolf Goddess 'Jandra' needed a female protector, to make sure that all genders are equal."

The mist made some shapes showing Bast the Egyptian goddess with a man who became a Black Panther and then an Egyptian Wolf goddess named Jandra. Both goddesses are among the people around them.

"Taking a piece of vibranium and holding it towards a full moon, she created The Eyes of Jandra, a powerful amulet that can give the wielder wolf-like abilities."

The mist shows Jandra magically taking a piece of vibranium from a meteorite and holding it towards the moon. Then, the vibranium changes into an amulet.

"However, the amulet chooses a host to protect Wakanda and its people no other."

The mist makes the shape of an amulet disappear.

"On earth, a wolf-breeder was looking after her flock when she saw The Eyes fall from the sky. She became Jandra Howler."

The mist makes the shape of a woman surrounded by a flock of wolves. Then, the woman saw what looked like eyes fall from the sky and hit her. The woman suddenly has wolf-like details on her.

"Centuries later, the last known wielder known as 'Atiena Howler' retired for her true love."

The figures disappear and the mist forms into another woman with a man.

"One day, The Eyes of Jandra will pick a new host, and bring harmony to the night."

The mist makes a shape of the amulet that is floating in the sky while glowing as Jandra flies around it

Flashback End

After the end of the story, the mother sees that Tamu and Valentia had drifted off to sleep. Smiling, she brought the blanket to cover them before she slowly stood up from the bed, trying not to wake them up. Then, she left their room and headed to her bedroom. As she came to her room before she went to bed herself, she stopped upon seeing her private chest on the side. The mother came up to the chest and opened it before she took out a special jewellery box. There it contained, The Eyes of Jandra.

"One day…" said the mother. "You'll become a true warrior…my daughter."
