Tombstone
"Can you explain to me why there's a freaking tombstone in the middle of my living room?" Hermione asked, pinching the bridge of her nose. "And why does it look so real? Don't tell me that Blaise went robbing the graveyard again."
It was strange living with someone, but usually Theo was more tidy than her, so it came as a surprise to see the huge tombstone by the couch.
"Is just a prop for Scorpius' play, and no, Blaise didn't rob the graveyard. Not that I know of," Theo mumbled under his breath before coming near her.
"Scorpius' play? When this is supposed to happen and why no one told me anything about it?" Hermione asked, crossing her arms and looking at her fiancé. "And why would a children's play use tombstones?"
"Is about Samhain, love, and I bet that you would be receiving an owl from Ginny soon enough," Theo said, pulling Hermione closer to him and kissing her lightly on the lips. "I'm just being a good godfather and helping."
"I thought it was Blaise who brought the tombstone?" Hermione asked with a raised eyebrow, smirking at a flushed Theo. "A tombstone just seems so…dark."
Theo chuckled, "That's purebloods for you, love. But don't worry, our child wouldn't be like that, since I know for a fact we're going to send them into a muggle school."
Hermione blanched. It wasn't like she hadn't imagined having children with Theo—if she fantasizes late at night about a little girl with curly hair and Theo's blue eyes, it wasn't anyone's business—but she had never heard Theo talk about it.
"Our child, huh? You're thinking about our future child already, Mr Nott?" Hermione asked, putting her hands on top of Theo's shoulders.
"I mean, I did ask you to marry me, didn't I?" Theo asked, smiling at the look on Hermione's face. "And I know you get the hots for me when I talk about our imaginary future children."
Blushing, Hermione couldn't stop the smile on her face. It was true that she got horny when Theo talked about the future; she blamed her hormones on it.
"I don't have a clue what you're talking about," Hermione replied, wishing for her blush to go away.
"Sure you don't," Theo deadpanned. "How about I deliver this tombstone to the Malfoys, and while I'm out, I get those chocolate donuts you love so much? And you could be waiting for me in that lovely black nightgown I love?"
Theo knew how to play dirty, Hermione had to give it to him, but she wasn't going to complain. Kissing Theo one more time, Hermione stepped out of his arms.
"Get rid of that tombstone and I'll be waiting for you in our room," Hermione said, winking at Theo and walking towards their room.
She never heard someone calling the Floo so fast as Theo.
