Castiel lands in a forest, it was small but nice. It has been awhile since he has gone onto earth but he couldn't stand Ishim at the moment with his…stalking as humans like to call it and forcing himself on him so this is better.
Castiel has blue eyes, brown hair which is tied back into a ponytail like most male mortals have in this time, he wears a tunic shirt, brown trousers and boots.
He sits on a tree that has fallen over and closes his eyes, wondering if his father could hear his prayer for once.
"Father, what should I do? I can't stand Ishim hurting anymore. Please, give me a sign, show me how to stop him from doing this or send me to a different commander. I just want it…to stop." he said, a sob breaking out.
"Maybe you need to stand up to him."
He looks up to see a man with brown hair which is tied into a ponytail, brown eyes that shows compassion and sympathy, he has a kind smile, he is muscular and lean.
"It's not that simple. Ishim is my commander." he says.
"Perhaps he feels threatened." said the man.
"Perhaps."
"My name is Elijah," he said.
"Castiel." he said, shaking his hand.
Elijah smiles and he shakes his hand, his hand feels cold and he looks to him closely to see that he is a vampire, an ambaition. But…there is something strange about the man.
But Castiel couldn't think of what it is, maybe he can ask Balthazar about this.
"You're a vampire." Castiel said with an edge to his voice.
"And you're an angel. I smelt you a few miles back and wondered what an angel is doing in his lonesome." Elijah says.
"I see," he said.
Elijah gives him a kind smile but Castiel hears Uriel praying out to him, commanding him to come home. He knows he is in trouble with Ishim now, but he doesn't wish to go back home, he'd rather be with this vampire.
"Castiel?" asked Elijah in a worried voice.
"They're calling me, my brothers," said Castiel.
"I see. Well, I better get going too before my father thinks something terrible has happened to me." said Elijah.
"Will…Can I see you again, Elijah?" Castiel asked him.
He is intrigued by the vampire and he would like to know him, as far as vampires go, Elijah seems to be a good person and he would like to know him more.
"Well, if you can come down here again sometime, I suppose you will." said Elijah.
"ELIJAH!"
"Ah, that is my cue. I better go before Niklaus starts to make prastions." said Elijah.
"I hope we meet again," said Castiel.
Castiel walks a good distance from Elijah, he then spreads his giant black feathered wings and returns to Heaven.
That is when their friendship was made, the friendship between an angel and a original vampire.
Castiel keeps on visiting Elijah, getting to know the original nobel vampire, the more he return the more he finds he is having feelings for the original vampire. He had tried to fight his emotions many times but he failed each time.
Then one day…
Castiel falls due to his injury wing as he tries to land in their usual meeting spot, someone had found out about his friendship with Elijah Mikaleson and tried to punish him for it but he had run off with an injury wing and was half naked.
"CAS!"
Elijah….Castiel tries to get up to meet his friend but found himself falling again so he lays there, hoping that Elijah would find him. He then feels a hand on his shoulder.
"Castiel, what happened?" Elijah asked him.
"Ishim, Uriel….they found out, I couldn't…"
"Shh, shh." Elijah says gently. "Don't talk, save your strength. Let me help you, Cas."
He then heaves him up, wrapphing his arm around his shoulders so Elijah could support his weight.
"But…your father…if he…hates lycans, who's to say he'll hate angels?" Castiel asked him.
"I'll tell him you're a vampire who's been experimented on to look like an angel." Elijah said.
"I don't…you shouldn't lie to your father just for me." Castiel said weakly.
Elijah shakes his head. "You are my friend, Cas. That will be enough for Father. Stay with me."
Castiel then passes out but when he wakes up, he sees Elijah watching him as a young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes is jabbing a cloth across his forehead gently.
"Cas?"
"Elijah." he said.
"At least he is aware," said the woman.
"Rebekah." said a man with light brown hair which like Elijah has it tied in a ponytail.
"How did I…?"
"You were hurt, Cas. I brought you home so you could be healed, your wing was broken, we had to reset it, kind of like a bird's wing." said Elijah.
"I…thank you for your assistance, Elijah. But it was unnecessary, I would've healed." Castiel said.
"Unnecessary he says! I wouldn't know about angels healing abilities, but you, my friend. You were pretty much trashed. You were worse than me after our father had beaten the hell out of me." said the light brown hair man.
Castiel blushed. "It was punishment."
"Oh? Why, what did you do?" asked the same man.
"I befriended your brother and to that, to most of heaven's eyes, is a sin. I knew it wouldn't last long before they would find out." Castiel said.
Elijah then takes his hand. "Then stay here with us, with me and I swear to keep you away from them."
"You cannot, not with heaven's power behind them. They can tear me out of my vessel if they chose to so I will return to heaven without any fuss or any deaths from both sides. There is nothing you can do, Eli."
"I don't care."
Castiel looks at him in disbelief, did he hear him right? Elijah doesn't care? What does that even mean?
"Wha…what? I don't understand." Castiel spluttered.
"I don't care if they come down because if they do, I'll kill them all if they hurt you as much. It's bad enough I have to witness Niklaus being beaten by our father but I will not allow you to be hurt like that, I will not." said Elijah.
Castiel's eyes widen as Elijah pushes a strand of his dark hair from his face and cups his face with his hand as he holds the other.
His vessel's heart is beating crazy with something he has never felt before.
"You can't, angels….angels are absolute, they are heaven's most terrifying weapon. They might even just decide to send Michael or Raphael, the archangels." Castiel said, a slight panic to his voice.
Elijah then hugs him, stroking the back of his hair and whispers comforting words, like that is going to make it all better.
Unfortunately, Castiel knows better.
"We're leaving, come with us and I'll protect you. Always and forever." Elijah says holding both of his hands.
"Brother, would you do it before the sweetness does us all in? We all know from you talking about him!" said the light brown hair man.
"Niklaus, not now," he said to him.
So that is Niklaus, the hybrid that Elijah had told him about. Not what he had expected from the hybrid at all but it could be worse, he could've been a nephilim.
"Will you come with me?" Elijah asked.
Castiel bites his lips, he wants more than anything else to go with Elijah, get away from heaven. Don't get him wrong, he'd miss some of his angels brothers and sisters, his friends. But heaven is corrupted, sometimes he thinks they are worse than Lucifer. So he nods and Elijah holds him, stroking his hair softly as Castiel cries.
"Come. We have to hurry." said a strict looking man with brown hair.
In some ways, he reminds him of Raphael if he hasn't become so cruel.
"Let's go. I'll protect you, Cas. Always and forever." he said.
They soon leave for Europe but Castiel should've known that it was too good to be true, they were about to leave for Italy but Castiel never fot to go.
But the day it happened.
"Eli…"
Elijah turns around to face him, smiling at him. "Yes,Cas?"
"I have something to tell you," he said.
"Yes?"
"I…I love you, I have for a long time. But heaven's strict rules had forced me to keep it a secret from you but now I am free from heaven, I have to say it. I understand if you do not return my feelings to me since being with another man is forbidden. But I-"
Then he feels Elijah's lips against his, brushing them lightly and deeply, Castiel close his eyes and returns the kiss, wrapping his arms around his neck, his fingers clutching his hair.
"I never thought I'd see the day, Cas." said Elijah once he parted from him. "I didn't think you'd feel the same as I, I mean, an angel and a vampire together? It would sound so amational to so many small minds."
Castiel shakes his head, this kind of thing has never happened before, sure, an angel falling in love with a human? Sure, that has happened. But this? This has never happened before.
"I don't care about heaven's rules on this matter." said Castiel. "I love you."
"I love you too. Always and Forever." said Elijah.
He nods and then they finish packing for their long trip, he walks into the room to see Niklaus, Finn and Kol smirking, like they knew something.
"So you finally found the courage to tell our brother your secret? How did it go? Well, I hope." said Niklaus.
"I-"
"Please, little blue eyes. It was so obvious for years." said Kol.
"It went well. I love him and he loves me." said Castiel, carefully.
"We know, but if you hurt our brother, we'll kill you. You understand, Cassie?" Niklaus says to him.
"Yes, I understand," said Castiel.
"Now that's out of the way, welcome to the family." Finn said.
He nods, ready to say his thanks when Rebekah hugs him. "I'm so happy for the both of you! I hope one day I will meet my loved one. But your story is more romantic than any Romeo and Juliet I ever heard."
"Thank you, Rebekah." he said.
"Is everyone ready?" Elijah asked.
Castiel nods and takes his hand and they left for the ship, once on the ship, they had their own cabins where they put the coffins.
Elijah took his shirt off as Castiel did the same, he lays on the bed with Elijah on top of him, kissing him deeply and passionately.
He moans as Elijah kisses his neck, leaving nips and a bite mark to let everyone knows that he is his.
Elijah moves down to his chest, leaving a tails of kisses down his chest. He takes his right nipple into his mouth, sucking and licking it. Castiel tightens his grip into his hair as he feels his manhood tighten.
"Eli. I need you…"
"Shh, my love. In a moment." he said.
Elijah then helps him out of his trousers and enters him carefully so he won't hurt him, unlike Ishim, Elijah was careful and kept asking him if he was hurting him.
"No, I'm fine." he said.
After they made love that night, they stayed up watching the stars. But someone called out to Elijah, it is Kol.
"Elijah, we're nearly there. We need to go." said Kol.
"Of course."
He smiles but then he senses something, he turns around to see Uriel with a disgusted look on his face along with Raphael.
"I don't believe you, Castiel. If it had been a human, sure I could understand. But a vampire? You fell for an original vampire? You disgust me, little brother." sneered Raphael.
"You leave them alone, especially Elijah. If you wish to take me back to heaven for punishment or to clip my wings, I'll do it without any complaints. Just don't hurt Elijah or his family." Castiel said.
"Who said we're going to clip your wings? You're coming home to be punished and show the errors of your ways, Castiel." Uriel said.
He flinches at the word, he wants to be with his original nobel vampire, not going home wit them. Elijah is his home, where he feels safe.
"Please." he said, trying to blink back tears. "I love him."
He ends up on the floor after Raphael had backhand him ferociously. "You will not repeat those words, Castiel. Not in my presence. Besides, once Naomi is through with you, you will not even remember this fantasy romance with a vampire."
Raphael then grabs him, as Uriel places a hand on his head, forcing his true form out of his vessel.
"Castiel! What are you doing to him?!" Elijah shouts out.
But it was too late, he and the angels are already back to heaven, he is strapped onto a chair, a woman comes out and puts a sharp object into his eye and Elijah is gone from his mind and his emotions are gone until a certain human wakes his dominate emotions. It wasn't until the final fight with Chuck he recalls Elijah, his vampire lover.
