Batasha watched, unable to do anything, as Brett steered them at full speed into the potato ship.
The next thing she knew, she was inside the potato ship, injured and bleeding but alive.
"Batasha! Are you alright?" Mariposa asked, coming to inspect her wounds.
"Yeah, I'm fine. What happened?" She asked, swatting Mariposa away.
"Uh, well," Mariposa started, but motioned to Camilo to come over.
"You see, I imagine you guys were coming to meet up with us, and I have no idea why but you were suddenly coming straight for us-" Camilo explained, but got interrupted by Batasha because she suddenly remembered what happened.
"Brett. Brett did this, I promise!" She tried to explain, but Mariposa and Camilo just looked at her with a sad expression.
"Why would he do that? Because, well, because Ash is dead." Mariposa finally said, turning away from Bat's confused face.
"What? No, no she can't be!" But the body was there, and the carrot ship was torn to pieces.
"The potato is way stronger than the carrot, so we were unhurt but unfortunately you all weren't."
Batasha only half heard her as she went to Brett and put her deadly widow bite to his heart.
"Any last words?" She asked, and Mariposa and Camilo didn't dare come any closer.
"I didn't want to," Brett said, holding up his hands. "I can't tell you who I work for, unfortunately, the name is tabooed. However, I can tell you that I'm sincerely sorry. I realise now that, well, I loved Ash."
"You should have thought of that earlier," Bat spat, but turned away.
"Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, we need to go back and find Jane and Bully." Bat told Mariposa and Camilo, who were shocked at their nicknames.
"How come we're always the side characters," Camilo groaned, but they set the coordinates for the planet where Jane and Bully were anyway.
The potato ship got them there in one piece, and as they disembarked they saw Jane and Bully Maguire, having a deep conversation that seemed to be an apology.
"Oh my gosh, you guys are back!" Jane exclaimed, and went to hug them. Mariposa was very perplexed at her behaviour.
"You know, I figured that it wasn't your fault." She told Mariposa, who was still confused but took the apology anyway.
"Uh, thanks I guess. So, you two are on good grounds again?" She asked, trying to not get to the topic of Ash.
"Yeah, we apologised and all. Hey, where's Ashley?" Jane asked, looking for the porcupine.
"Uh, well, we had a crash on the way here..." Mariposa tried to say gently, but Bat cut to the chase.
"She died. Brett killed her." She told Jane, and her eyes lit up with the same revenge she had when Bully had died.
"You double crossing chu-"
"Hey, let's all calm down." Mariposa said, stopping Jane. "We need to know where to go now. Any ideas?"
Jane frowned. "Well uh, yes. Gimme a second." She said, and gave Brett a death stare before walking away from the group and calling upon the Giant Space Spider.
"I imagine you're satisfied?" The Spider asked her.
"Yes. Mirahell's dead. But you said we still need to go somewhere?"
"Indeed." The spider replied, and a portal opened up next to them, that led to another multiverse. However, it was shaped like a capybara, which Jane found a little odd.
"Your answers are through that capybara. Find Brunocito. Finish your mission." And with that, the spider was gone.
"Everyone! Come on, it's a portal to where we need to go!" Jane shouted to the others, and in a few seconds they were through the capybara and in another multiverse, surrounded by trees and on the sands of a beach.
"Where are we-" Camilo tried to ask, but a brown-haired boy appeared out of the trees.
"Oh, hi. Who are you?" The boy asked.
"Uh, we're, lawyers." Batasha said, trying to come up with a good lie.
Mariposa sent her a glare, but carried on. "Yep we're lawyers, here to sue, uh, that tree over there." She said, pointing to an innocent palm tree.
"Oh great. Also, remember this," the boy said, "don't ever eat noodles. Lawyers cannot eat noodles, okay?" The group nodded, very confused.
"My name's Eric. Welcome to Jurassic Park." He said, and on cue a dinosaur roared in the distance. "What can I help you lawyers with?"
"Uh," Jane said. "We're looking for someone called Brunocito?"
Everyone else was confused, but Eric seemed to know what she was talking about. "Oh, you know my good pal, Brunocito? Well right this way then, and maybe we can catch one of his telenovelas. They always have amazing plot twists!" Eric explained, and led them to Brunocito while explaining his latest telenovela, where a rat named Dead and another one called And were not even in a secret band.
"We're here! Brunocito, you've got visitors!" Eric called, but nobody came out.
"Oh, nice to meet you all! My name is Brunocito, and uh, I see the future, but it'll be one air conditioner for a prediction." A voice said, but nobody knew where it was coming from until they looked down to see a tiny green dinosaur wearing a bucket and a small cape.
"You're shorter than I expected." Camilo said, and Mariposa shot him a look, not wanting to offend the tiny dinosaur. "What? I once sang about my Bruno, and said he had a seven foot frame, while this guy isn't even one foot?"
"That'll be two air conditioners from you now." The small dinosaur said aggressively, and Camilo put his hands in the air in surrender.
"Well, uh, it's nice to meet you Brunocito. I imagine we want a vision of...?" Mariposa trailed off, looking at Jane for help.
"Our next target." She said dramatically, and Mariposa rolled her eyes but nodded.
"Alright. Everyone sit down, and get ready. My visions are extra special." The dinosaur said, and Eric brought a bunch of noodles and put them in a circle around the group. "Do not eat them!" He told the 'lawyers' again, and Bully took his hand away in disappointment, wanting to eat the delicious looking noodle.
"Okay! Let's make some spaghetti bolognaise!" Brunocito said, and the noodles began to fly up into the air, along with some tomato sauce that Eric had also strewn across the floor, to make spaghetti bolognaise.
"I see..." Brunocito started dramatically, and everyone leaned in to hear. "A man, with no head."
And with that, the spaghetti formed itself into the headless man and the vision was over.
"That's it?" Mariposa asked in frustration. "No directions, no-" Eric put his hand on her shoulder to calm her, which made Camilo huff in jealousy.
"I do know where this man is." Brunocito said. "You," he said, pointing to Brett. "Take two steps back."
The kangaroo did, and nothing happened. "One more," Brunocito said, and as Brett stepped backwards he disappeared, his scream cutting off quickly.
"Alright, when you step where that man did, you shall find the headless man!" Brunocito said, and everyone looked confused but regardless went to where Brett fell and also disappeared as well, until only Eric and Brunocito were left.
"They never gave me any air conditioners..." Brunocito realised, sighing, and Eric nodded.
"Hey, can you tell me about Dead and And now? I'm invested." Eric asked Brunocito, and he sighed but carried on with his telenovela.
