*GASP!*

I opened my eyes wide, staring at the bright blue sky.

I could feel what felt like grass touching the back of my arms and neck. The sun was so bright in my eyes. I could hear birds chirping and bugs buzzing around. The weather was quite ni-

"W-wait! What the…?!" When did I end up outside? Last thing I remembered was winning a Solos match on Fortnite before going to bed.

I quickly got up, confirming that I was indeed outside. Except this wasn't my backyard. Nope! This looked more like a forest. I then moved my legs to stand, only to stop to look at my legs upon closer inspection. I was wearing gray pants with big pockets on both legs, and what looked like light green combat boots on my feet.

"What the hell am I wearing?" I quickly got on my feet to notice hat the clothes on my upper body has changed as well. I was wearing some sort of green vest over a white t-shirt, with the left sleeve torn off. On top of the vest was a black strapping like that had a large pocket bag just below the chest. On the upper left arm was an orange band like cloth tied there. I even noticed that there was an orange scarf around my neck. Both my hands had black fingerless gloves. What got my attention was what was on my right wrist. It was some sort of device with a screen that covered most of the device, and a few buttons to the right side of it.

"Wh-what? What is all this?" I was very scared and confused. I patted myself, trying find anything else that has changed. I noticed that my skin looked light, which shouldn't be possible since my skin is naturally light brown and I recently got a big tan at the beach with my friends just a couple days ago.

"What the hell is…..what the-?!" I began to speak more slowly, my voice was different, yet oddly familiar. Something was obviously wrong with me, that much I can tell. I spoke some more, this was not my voice. I know exactly how I sound and this is not it!

What made me even more confused and shocked was what was on the ground in front of me. I took a few steps back, knowing what it was. It was a silver colored pickaxe with black grip wrappings around the pole itself.

"Oh god… oh no… this cannot be happening!"

I then heard the sound of calm, flowing water. I jogged over, past the trees and into the opening to where I could hear it. When I came to the location, it was a river. It seemed a stupid idea, but I walked over, knelt by the edge, and brought my face up close to the water to see my reflection. Much to my shock, it wasn't my usual Hispanic-American face. This face was white with blonde hair. It was the face, of Jonsey the First. A default skin from Chapter 3!

The truth struck me hard as I came to realize exactly was going on. I've somehow been transported to the Fortnite game! Sweat was coming down my face as fear and anxiety grew inside me, I grabbed my head thinking. How did I get here? Why am I here? Was all of this even real?!

As I was trying to figure out where I was, a holographic screen popped in front of me, much to my surprise. It looked like a map, like in the game, with a blue marker, but something was different. Here was no timer for the storm, no timer at all. Rather there was the time of the day. 10:29 am? It's morning?! When did they add this feature? Day and night would change in a few minutes like it did in the game. There wasn't even a number of players. On the map, the area around me showed green land and a river nearby, but everything around me was all grayed. Not only that, but from what I could see, this didn't look like the Island I know. In fact, as I zoomed out on the screen, I could see the land was getting bigger, and bigger. Soon I could see that not only was this NOT the usual Fortnite island, but the land was also very big. Like a continent BIG. Where the hel-

*SNAP!*

I turned to the sound behind me to see a family of deers. We held our little staring contest for a few more seconds until they dashed off into the forest. Well this further confirms my suspicions. The developers never added deers to the game. Sure, Chapter 2 Season 6 added animals to the game, but what purpose would deers serve, other than meat?

"Okay, if this isn't the Island, then where the hell am I?" I was getting more worried and confused of what was happening right now. I needed answers, and I was not the best thinker in this kind of situation! For one thing, I wasn't hit by a truck, nor was I killed like they did in those Isekai mangas and animes. Although there have been a some who were summoned by Royals, only to be thrown out for being "useless". However, there a few where the main character just shows up in another world with no help from magic or gods. Perhaps that was my situation.

I decided to put that aside and see what I currently had on me at the moment. I looked at the device on my arm, tapped a few of the buttons, and the the big holo screen popped up again. So not only is it controlled by the thoughts, but by this device as well. I guess that would give me less of a headache. I then noticed some other features. In the bottom right was my weapons and stuff that I carry. When I touched the Gold SCAR on the screen, it appears right in my hands.

"Whoa! This is actually pretty cool! I thought this was vaulted after Chapter 3 came out?" I've only held and shot some real guns with my friends at the shooting range, but that was once and this was something else. I took a look at it the rifle in my hands some more until I decided to test it out, just for the heck of it. Held it up and aimed like in the game. Strange thing is that it felt like it came naturally. I pulled the trigger and the bullets flew out. When the gun was empty, my arms suddenly acting on their own by reloading the gun. Where did the clip come from? A mini screen appeared by my right eye, showing the ammo count, only to show that my ammo is infinite.

"Huh… well I'm not complaining." I then tested out the other weapons. My auto shotgun and Sidearm pistol. And other items, like my med kit and small shield potion that I had in my small inventory. Ammo was still infinite and my arms were acting on their own, the last part being very freaky. Not only that, but my mind became more calm as I used the tools I had on me, and it felt natural as well. The shield potion tasted a little weird, like mixing fruit soda and monster energy drink. There was no need to go use the med kit since I was not injured. So I was armed and well protected, now that I consumed my shield potions. What else?

I checked the screen again, wishing I had more weapons than the usual. Suddenly, as if the screen read my mind, it probably did, words popped up above the AR rifle saying "Change Weapon?"

"Huh? Don't I already have a couple more in my inventory?" I thought about it a little longer and decided to give it try, I mean, I'm in no hurry at the moment. I touched the tab and a bigger screen opened up. Boy was I surprised and a little excited as I felt a smile grow on my face. What I saw was every gun that was ever used in the game. Mythic, exotic, legendary, ones from Save the World, even those that are exclusive to certain seasons. Although some of them weren't there, mostly the Marvel items like the super powers.

I lost track of time as I spent a lot of it on shooting every weapon and trying every item I had. I think I was laughing like crazy for a while there too.

"Phew! Okay, so I'm heavily armed and fully equipped to make any escape and healing myself. Guess I won't be needing my health insurance anymore…maybe." I was glad that I managed to take my mind off of my fear, to have it replaced by excitement from this revelation. I checked the screen again and noticed that it was now 12:11 pm. "Huh, I was going on for that long?" From what I understand from the Lore and gaming experience, a storm would usually engulf the island in 22 minutes, but its been longer than that. I thought back to thinking that maybe I am in the game, except I could be either in the Battle Lab or a Creative Map. Then again, how did anyone add deers to the game? They were never mentioned by leakers or anything. And as far as I know and seen, there hasn't been any creative map this big before, unless I missed one.

As I kept pondering about this and browsed the screen some more, I noticed a few tabs at the top with different symbols. The first had the Battle Pass symbol, second looked like a Locker, third was a Dollar symbol that overlapped a shirt and pickaxe, fourth was a Map, and the fifth showed a square with a line attached to another square. The Locker symbol really got my attention the most, it could only mean one thing.

I tapped on the tab and I was right. It was my entire Locker Outfits for the skins that I set up. The only change that I noticed was that there were more slots than before. So far there used to be just a hundred, but as I scrolled down, there papeares to be more and it didn't look like it was going to end. This filled me with much relief as I had hoped that more slots would be made for more skins that would come out. Then it got me thinking… can I change my appearance to a different skin?

"Alrighty then lets see here. So many to choose." I couldn't really decide which one I wanted to try out, there was just so many I wanted to use. It's like trying out the guns, except this was a whole different experience. I finally found the one I wanted to try, MIDAS. The boss of the Agency and the man with the Golden Touch. After a few seconds of hesitation, I tapped on the slot selection and my body was then enveloped in light blue digital lights, much like in the game. It happened so fast, I could feel a cool sensation, yet warm at the same time. Very soon, it was over, and I stood there, silently. I could feel the clothes tight around my upper body and legs. I could feel the wind breezing on the lower side of my head, where there was less hair in that area. I could barley see anything on the right side, it was a little blurry. I looked at my hands, they were covered in gold. To get a better look at myself, I walked towards the river again, and sure enough, I was Midas himself. Same stylish suit, nice haircut, and those badass tattoos.

My mind starting to think off to The Device, the Agency, the agents and henchmen under my command, how to kill someone, my daughter, how to sto- wait! Daughter??? What daughter?! I held my head for a bit, thinking to myself. I then remembered that it was later confirmed back in Chapter 2 that Jules was Midas' daughter. It seems that these characters/skins have SOME of their memories. Probably only those that you get from the Loop/Battle Royale, but nothing else before that. In fact, I even felt more calm and composed, but I still felt like myself, just in another person's body. No more fear or stress. I then looked down and saw a small stick lying on the ground. Deciding to test another theory, I picked it up and it turned into gold, just as I thought. I then remembered my pickaxe that I left behind. I walked back to where it was and it changed from the Default to the Golden King. I even checked the backbling on my back and ti was the same Gold Dagger Pack that I set up for Midas. I picked up the Golden King and decided to give it a swing at the closest tree near me. I managed to cut a chunk of it off quite easily. In fact, I didn't really feel that much resistance from it. So I kept going until the tree fell, but after a few swings, it disappeared. It seems that some of the game mechanics or whatever it is followed through where ever it is that I ended up.

"Hrrmmmm… curious." I groaned as I was thinking. Strange thing was that my voice now sounded more like Ryan Stewart than Matt Mercer.

What an odd predicament I've gotten myself into.

Few hours later…

"Reality Log UK-4. I can now confirm that I am no longer in Fortnite, or at least anything that is connected back to the main servers or anything that connects back to the main game itself. I can still remember my name, Nick Hernandez. I also can't get in contact with the developers, or players, or the Main Mustard Man himself." I spoke as Agent Jones (Jump 88, with the hood down) into a recording device I found in his backpack. "For now at least, I still have a few other supernatural and smart characters I haven't tried yet. Speaking of which, I should mention that the effects seem to apply as they did with Midas. Knowledge, skills, personalities, and memories from the Loops remain. Anything else before that is nowhere to be found. And yet MY memories have stayed with me."

As I was recording, I was going through all my things that I have gathered and laid out before me. "The backblings have also shown that the items on them can be removed and used. Like the extra guns, grenades, rope, the tools, all that stuff. Even when I take them off and change the backblings, they remain behind. Same thing with the pickaxes and skins too. Huh, really convenient. As for other good news so far, Building still works, but not unlimited like my ammo. I'll have to harvest what I can find. Good thing there's a lot of trees and rocks everywhere. No metal though." I then started to pack everything back up.

"So other than that, supplies appear to be unlimited for now. Still need to see if the Creative Maps can be accessed. Still no way home." I then thought back to some of the best quotes by Jim Carrey's recent character acting. "A lesser man would die out here, luckily for me though," I pulled out my Portal Gun, this one looked more stabled. "I should be able to go anywhere I want with this, but…" I placed the gun back in the backpack. "…this is whole new Reality. A new world. Uncharted lands to explore. Part of me says that I should just find a way to get home, while the other outweighs that thought and wants to see more. So then…" I then pull out my sunglasses and put them on. "Let's go exploring!"

I then begin my journey in this new world walking down the hill, this new life of mine. Probably the craziest thing I have ever done in my life. I'm armed, shielded, and fully equipped with everything that I need to survive for now. I can't tell if it's me or Agent Jones' thought process, but I was feeling very excited and a little nervous about this. I wonder if perhaps I'm losing my mind.

I then noticed a small rock the size of a coconut next to me. I don't know what came over me, but I picked up that sucker and chucked it as far as I could.

"Rockonnaissance!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA!!!!"

Maybe I've already lost it…

Yes, this may look familiar because I first wrote this on Wattpad. I'm trying to get peoples' thoughts through different websites. I may even post this on Archiveofourown too. For those who are new, let me explain what this is.

Yep, this is gonna be one of those Isekai/Fortnite/SI/Fantasy/Crossover stories. Let me just say that I have not found a single crossover or Isekai Fortnite fanfiction or anything fan written. Or perhaps it's there, but I'm not looking hard enough. The theme is fantasy because, well, most of these Isekai, transferring to other worlds, and reincarnating are mostly fantasy. This right here is just the beginning/intro of other stories that I am thinking of writing through, like Fire Emblem Fates, Dragalia Lost (Really gonna miss that games), Game of Thrones, you name it. After this, I then go off writing them. But first I need your critique/thoughts about this and fictional fantasy world YOU want him mixed with.

I've already started one with Fire Emblem with two chapters, those will be posted later. I just trying get peoples' opinions through different areas. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
