" It's over Eggman!" Sonic said with a large grin on his face. After defeating a massive swarm of advanced Badniks." No! How? Those were some of the greatest Badniks I've ever created!" Eggman said more rageful than usual." What's wrong Eggface? Seem more grumpy. You know, more than you normally are." Sonic asked the grin still plastered on his face.
" Shut it. I've had it with you!" Eggman yelled." And my friends have had it with you. Sorry to say it Eggdome, but I'm gonna have to turn you in."
Eggman sat silently in his egg mobile.
"What?" He said with anger growing in his voice." What? Did you think you would get away with all the horrible things you did? After all your crimes?" Sonic said in a slightly more serious tone." I did it for the betterment of this world!" The doctor said, his passion was booming though his voice.
" Sure, eggy."
" I'm not going to stop until I better this world!"
"Last time I checked. A Zombie apocalypse doesn't really better the world."
" Shut it!" Eggman said growing more and more rageful." Just hand yourself in or I'll make you hand yourself in." Sonic said while slowly walking towards the Egg mobile." No. No! I'll never give up! Even if it kills me." Eggman said before speeding off in his Egg mobile." Oh no you don't!" Sonic said before jumping up to Egg mobile. Unfortunately he barely missed and could only watch as Eggman flew off. Sighing to himself, he runs off to a meeting place him and the rest of the group had decided to go.
After minutes of running by the beautiful coasts he arrived at dolphin resort. Stopping by a restaurant he sat down on a bench. He got time to think about what Eggman said." I'll never give up! Even if it kills me." Those words had been echoing in his mind for the whole run here. He had never uttered something like that before. At least not in such a serious tone. It worried Sonic. Looking to his left he can see several blurs moving towards him. All in different colours. One orange, one red and black. It was his friends.
As the blurs skid and slid to a stop. They all greeted him with varying levels of enthusiasm." Hey Sonic!" An orange fox greeted." How's it going Tails?" Sonic replied with wavering confidence." Did you get the doctor?" The black and red hedgehog asked stiffly." I tried to, but he got away." Sonic said to Shadow.
"Great, just perfect." Shadow replied annoyed." Hey, at least I tried this time. Only a matter of time before the old man runs out of places to run." Sonic replied defensively.
"You got that right." A feminine bat replied." If my data is correct. There should only be one or two Eggman bases left." Rouge continued." What about the old ones?" Sonic asked with slight concern." All are being patrolled by some of the best restoration members we have!" A pink hedgehog replied." Great! So Tails, what should our next move be?" Sonic asked the fox." Well, One of the base Eggman could be hiding is at the West most edge of the chemical plant zone." Tails suggested." According to my data. It was recently built. Its defences should be pretty weak." Rouge added.
"All right then! Even if he's not there. It's one more place he can't escape to." Sonic said ready to act. Amy stood silent for a moment. Pondering to herself." I'll go and check on cream's house." She blurted out. The group looked at her confused.
"Why?"
"I'm not sure, I just feel like I should."
"Well, you can go do that. Make sure Gemerl doesn't fall to Eggman's plans. The rest will go raid the chemical plant base!" Sonic said confidently. As the group headed to Eggman's new base and Amy headed to Cream's house. Eggman was sitting in said base ready to pull off one of his most brutal plans yet.
"Metal." Eggman said silently to Sonic's Robotic counterpart. The robot walked up to his creator awaiting orders." Set plan Z into motion." Eggman said blankly staring off to the ocean in front of him. The Metal counterpart stood silent for a few seconds before turning to inact the plan. Metal Sonic walked through the halls of the new base. Its walls were crudely built with hardly any armour or defense. It was a hollow base. One with no equipment nor any tech. It's only purpose is to lure Sonic and friends far away from the target.
Eventually Metal Sonic had made it to plan Z room. The only room with even the slightest amount of technology in it. Walking towards the button in the centre of the room where a single button was located. Moving his metal finger above the button he paused for a few seconds. Staring at the button below. Whether or not he wanted to do this was beyond his decision. He does what he is told with no question asked. Pressing the button, a long period of silence fell on to the room. It may have not sounded or looked like it, but this single button press would lead to a string of horrible disasters.
