Getting home from work, she kicked off her heels and ran upstairs. In her room, she dumped the contents that were inside the bag on her bed. Grabbing the box and making her way into the bathroom.

She sat and she hoped God could hear her pleas.

"Please, oh please say positive", she mumbled.

After she finished, she set it on the counter and washed her hands, her eyes never leaving the test.

Biting her lip and pacing the room, she rang her hands nervously.

He would be so happy, they've been together six years, married for two. He begged her to start trying and she agreed, the only problem was, nothing was happening. She wasn't getting pregnant. Everyone else around her was, it seemed so easy for them, some of them were on their second or third.

"Thea, baby, you upstairs?", Roman shouted.

Should she tell him? The last two times he'd been so disappointed. Could she stand to keep seeing the hurt in his eyes?

"Thea?", he shouted again.

That took her out of her thoughts.

"Yes hunny, I'm just changing", she said.

"Okay. Is everything alright?", he said.

"Um?", how did she answer that.

She walked into her bathroom and looked down at the test. She exhaled softly, tears filling her eyes.

"Roman", she shouted, not being able to take her eyes off of the positive signs.

She heard him run upstairs, his footsteps growing closer.

"What's wrong?", he asked.

She turned to look at him, before lifting the test and showing him. A smile growing, his eyes sparkled.

"Really? I'm going to be a dad?", he asked softly.

"Yeah baby, you are", she said.

He met his wife's eyes before cupping her face in his hands and kissing her deeply.

"You've made me the happiest man alive sweetheart", he whispered against her lips.

She smiled into the kiss.

"Don't cook today, I'll go and pick us up some food from your favorite restaurant. We can eat in bed and make sweet, sweet love all night.", he said.

She laughed softly, he rested his forehead against hers. A smile on his beautiful face.

"Order for us, I'm going to go and take a quick shower, then I'll go and pick it up.", he said.

She nodded and he kissed her one last time. Turning on the shower, Thea walked into their bedroom and opened the mint Oreo cookies she had been craving all day.

Grabbing her phone, she found the number for the restaurant. They told her it would be done in thirty before she hung up.

Roman was humming a happy tune, she smiled and placed her hand on her stomach.

"He's so excited to finally have you. You're going to have the best daddy in the world little one", she whispered.

She placed another cookie in her mouth when she heard a chuckle. Looking up, Roman was standing in the doorway in only a towel. His wet hair loose on his shoulders, drops of water sliding down his chest, she was lucky.

"If you're done ogling me, can I have a cookie?", he asked with a pout.

She rolled her eyes playfully, making him smirk. She tossed him one and he pushed it into his mouth.

"Taste like girl scout cookies, the thin mints", he said, mouth full.

She nodded.

"I was craving them all day, and cookies n cream ice cream", she said.

He smiled, taking note to stop and grab a tub of it for her.

"They said food should be ready in thirty", she said, standing and grabbing a change of clothes.

He nodded and slid the sweats up his legs.

"Are you going to shower?", he asked.

"I thought about it, but if you plan on keeping me in bed till morning, what's the point", she said, winking.

He licked his lips.

"Preview?", he asked.

"Nope. You'll just have to wait", she said.

He groaned and finished putting his shirt on. He walked over to her and kissed her, gently placing his hand on her stomach.

"I love you, Thea Reigns", he said, looking her in the eyes.

He leaned down a bit.

"And you little peanut, so much", he said, before leaving a small kiss.

Thea never thought she could fall even more in love with her husband, till this moment.

"I'll be back as soon as I can", he said, pecking her lips before making his way downstairs.

She heard his keys jingle as they moved. She lifted the covers and turned on the tv. Hearing the front door close as he walked out.

One hour passed. He wasn't back yet.

Two hours. Nothing.

Three. Where are you?

She made her way downstairs, peeking through the blinds. Only her car in the driveway.

Sitting on the couch in the living room and watching the front door.

Her phone ringing, made her stand and quickly make her way up to her room. Grabbing the phone off its charger.

"Hello?", she answered, not recognizing the number.

"Mrs. Reigns, Roman Reigns's wife?", the woman asked.

"This is she", Thea said.

"I'm sorry to inform you, but your husband has been in an accident. He's in surgery now…", Thea cut her off.

"What hospital, Legacy?", Thea asked while finding her shoes.

"Yes ma'am", she said.

"I'll be right there", Thea said.

She tossed her phone beside her as she finished putting her shoes on. Her heart was beating so fast. She stopped for a second and wondered if they called his side of the family. Grabbing her phone she texted Dean, Roman's best friend and adopted brother.

She asked him to inform everyone else, and that if they wanted to meet her at the hospital, it would be okay.

He texted back with an okay. Pushing her phone into her back pocket, she made her way down. Grabbing her car keys and locking up the house.

No one would tell her what's going on. His family was here and so was hers. Her twin sisters tried to comfort her, but she just couldn't relax. Not till she heard some news about Roman.

Thea looked at Dean.

"I'm pregnant. I'm telling you because I know he'd want you to know first", she whispered.

Dean smiled.

"Congrats", Dean said softly.

After waiting all night, Thea could see the sun coming up. She finally stood and went over to the front desk.

"Is there any news on my husband, Roman Reigns?", she asked.

The nurse clicked a few things on her computer.

"They just got him out of surgery and the doctor should be coming to talk to you soon", she said sweetly.

Thea nodded.

"Thank you", she said, before going back over to where she was sitting.

Her brother, Seth, came over to her.

"Want some coffee or something to eat?", he asked.

She shook her head no.

"I actually can't have any", she said.

He looked confused.

"Why?", he asked.

She smiled softly.

"I'm pregnant", she whispered.

He smiled and hugged her, he knew how hard it was, she had talked to him about it. He and Renee already had two kids, twins actually.

Nikki was married to Austin, he was her high school sweetheart. They had three, all under the age of five.

Brie was dating Dean, after she had introduced Roman to her family, he had asked if Brie was single. At the time she wasn't.

"Damn, she would have been perfect for my brother", Roman had said, after she walked him to his car.

She smiled, remembering that. Dean had always been into the crazy and wild women. He had confessed to Roman that he would like to find a good woman, a sweet, compassionate, bring home to mom kind of woman. Dean made a list of what he wanted and as Brie went on and on that night, Roman checked off his brother's list. This was Dean's soulmate, he knew.

After Daniel left her in Africa to run off with volunteer doctor, she came home. She was completely heartbroken, but after Roman suggested they get the two together, she figured why not.

"Trust me when I say babe, they are meant to be together", he had said.

They've been together three years now and Thea saw, that Dean still looked at her like she was everything and more.

"Thea, doctor", Nikki said, standing.

Thea looked up and stood, she met him half way.

"My husband?", she asked.

He sighed. She noticed a police officer approach as well.

"He's in a coma right now. There was swelling in his brain and we waited for a bit to see if maybe it will go down on its own. When he was reaching the danger zone, we took him in. We are watching him closely.", he said.

"In a coma? Is he going to wake up?", his mom asked.

Thea reached over and took her hand, his mom pulled it away from hers. The doctor took a minute to answer.

"We don't know, we'll know more as we monitor him", he said.

One of the police officer walked the doctor away from them. Another approached Thea.

"Mrs. Reigns", he said.

Thea nodded, Seth stayed close.

"I'm officer Orton, I was the first on the scene with your husband.", he said.

She nodded.

"Do you know what happened?", she asked, no one had told her, except that it was a car accident.

He nodded.

"Your husband was stopping at a red light. The car beside him had also stopped, the driver behind that car was I guess in a road rage mood, according to the driver in front of that car.", he explained.

She nodded and so did her brother.

"The light turned green, I guess the driver tried to pass both, the car in front of him and your husband. Pushing his car between both, your husband tried to avoid getting hit, but this guy was determined. Your husband drove off the road and jumped the curb right into a tree. His head slammed against the steering wheel before the airbags had time to stop it", he said.

"And the man responsible?", Seth asked.

"He's in custody, everyone who saw what happened are willing to testify against him.", he said.

"And the other driver?", she asked.

"He's here too. Although not as bad as your husband. He actually pulled him out of his truck", he said.

"What's his name?", she asked softly.

Officer Orton looked from her to his partner, he wasn't allowed to give that information away, but he couldn't help himself.

"Chris Jericho", he said.

Thea nodded.

"If you see him, tell him thank you", she said.

Randy nodded before walking back over to his partner. Seth put his arm around his sister.

A nurse came over to them.

"We can take you to go see your husband", she said.

"Actually, can his mom go first.", she said.

The nurse nodded and Patricia sent her a nod on the way to the room. Thea let everyone see him before her.

Getting to his room, She couldn't stand to see him with all those tubes going into him. A computer was monitoring his brain waves. She sat in the empty chair next to his bed. Taking his hand in hers and squeezing.

"Roman", she said softly.

The nurse has brought her an extra blanket so she could stay the night. Ever since than that chair became her best friend, after work, on the weekends, and every night. Its been almost a month. His family had just about given up, the doctors had said there was no change, but Thea wasn't about to call it quits, even if she had to sleep in that chair for years to come.

She opened her eyes and stretched. Looking towards Roman, his eyes were open and he was looking at her.

"Baby", she said, standing and sitting beside him.

He looked around the room before looking back at her.

"Um, I think you might be mistaken miss", he said.

Her smiled disappeared and he pulled his hand away from her.

"Roman…", was all she could say.

"Do we know each other?", he asked.

She swallowed and stood, finding the doctor. He walked back in with her and checked him over. Roman kept glancing at her, his family had shown up along with hers.

It was quiet in the room right now. They had taken Roman to do some tests.

"So he didn't remember you?", Dean asked.

She shook her head no.

The door opened and a nurse wheeled Roman back in and into bed. He smiled at his family and Dean.

Looking at Thea's family like they were creepy for even being in here when he didn't know them. Dean went over to Roman and hugged him.

"Who are they man?", Roman whispered to Dean.

Dean looked at Thea before looking back at Roman.

"She's your wife, brother", he said.

"You've been married two years, together for six", his mom explained.

Roman shook his head lightly. Thea was trying really hard not to break down. Seth squeezed her shoulder.

She stood and walked over to him.

"We met at the beach fair", she said.

He kept his eyes on her, he didn't remember her. What could he say? Nothing, he couldn't think of anything to say. Should he apologize?

The doctor walked in and said hi to everyone.

"So as I feared, he's lost his memory. I'm not sure how much of it he's lost or if he'll ever get them back. He could or he might never, again we would just have to wait and see", he said.

Thea didn't want to hear that. Her fingers lightly touching her stomach.

"You can also go home Roman, everything else seems to be fine", the doctor said.

Roman nodded, looking at his parents and then Thea.

His family talked with him and hugged him. Her family tried to get in on it, but he seemed to distance himself from them, so they backed away. Thea rubbed her hands on her thighs, afraid to approach.

"Thea, can we have a moment?", his mom asked.

Thea nodded and stood, following his parents out. She glanced back at him, and he sent her a small smile.

Her family stood.

"Sika and I were talking and we think it's a good idea if, maybe he came with us", she said.

"But..", they cut her off.

"I know sweetie, but he doesn't remember you or…", her brother interrupted.

"Then he should go home with her, maybe something will trigger his memory", Seth said.

Thea looked from him to them.

"I would like to try that", she said.

His parents sighed, but nodded. Matt and Dean walked out.

"He's changing", Dean said.

After a few minutes, the door opened and Roman walked out. They took a wheelchair over to him and he sat.

Thea approached him and bent down in front of him. A smile on her face.

"Ready to go home?", she asked.

He looked over her face, hoping to remember her, even for just a second.

"Yeah", he said.

She nodded and Dean wheeled him out to her car.

"If you don't feel comfortable Roman, just call us and your dad will go and get you", his mom said, before kissing his cheek.

He nodded before she closed the door. Thea got in and drove them home. He looked over the house.

"There might be a little mess inside, I haven't had time to fix it up", she said.

He nodded. She got off and helped him out, walking towards the front door. Unlocking it, they walked in. Roman looked around, nothing seemed familiar, he did noticed a pair of men's shoes by the door. Untouched since being placed there.

"Hungry?", she asked.

"Yeah", he said.

She nodded and walked into the kitchen.

"I can make us some turkey sandwiches", she said, pulling things out of the fridge.

"Sounds good", he said, walking in and sitting down.

She fixed his sandwich and took it over to him. He watched it for a second before lifting the bread off. Her back was to him, she knew how he liked his sandwich.

"So, we met at the fair?", he asked.

She finished making hers and walked over to the table. She nodded.

"Yeah, I was with my brother and his wife. There was this shooting game and you beat me, gave me the bear you won", she said.

She poured him some ice tea.

"You and Dean followed me around till finally you asked me for my number and out to dinner. Dean said that if I didn't, you would stalk me home", she said.

Roman was trying really hard to remember. She sat back down.

"Is it okay?", she asked.

He looked down at the sandwich and nodded.

He didn't last a week, he felt bad for it. She was trying so hard and he just couldn't remember anything. Yes, he had to admit, she was beautiful and he could see himself wanting to date her, but now, she was a stranger again.

He didn't feel the same as he did when she knew him. He called his dad to come and get him, she was at work. He packed his things and found a box with his name on it. Opening it, he realized they were pictures of them and their life together. He would take that and hope his memory would come back to him for her.

His dad took the last box as she walked in.

"What's going on?", she asked.

"I'm going to stay with my parents for a bit", he said.

"Did I do something?", she asked.

"No, of course not, you, you've done so much and I hate that I can't remember you.", he said.

She swallowed. He looked at the ring on his finger and removed it, before laying it on the small table by the door.

"I don't deserve that, not till I can come back to you", he said.

Her eyes on the ring. Her bottom lip trembled, eyes filled with tears.

"Please don't go", she said softly.

"I have too", he said.

He walked over to her and kissed her forehead.

"I'm sorry", he whispered.
