Akko, Diana, Lotte and Sucy stood at the foot of the tree, Akko jumped in front of a blast that Diana had shot towards the pupae.
"Diana waits those things are the trees pupae," Akko spoke weakly grabbing hold of the shiny rod
"Akko, I have an idea try casting the spell on the card," Lotte suggested getting a quick nod from the brunette.
"The magic butterfly Pappiliodya give us all hope, Pappilio Inferio Pereus!" Akko chanted a bright blast of green shooting out of the wand and towards all the pupae.
In the matter of seconds all of the previously dead plants sprouted upwards revealing groups of Pappiliodya flying out of them.
"We did it!" Akko cheered hugging onto the closest person next to her
"Yeah, that's great Akko but could you let go now please," Lotte voice was muffled by Akko's body pushing into hers.
Diana wanted to let out a sigh of relief but a linger of magic still remained in the area putting her off, "Just wait a minute Akko before celebrating-"
Suddenly, a ley line portal appeared from the middle of the tree only for nothing to be picked out from it.
"Huh is that what you were so worried about Diana?" Akko questioned snorting in a way that tried to hold her laughter.
"Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttt!" A voice echoed through the ley line becoming increasingly louder
"Is someone screaming?" Lotte questioned out loud
"Maybe were witnessing a murder through the ley line," Sucy suggested a large sharp grin appearing on her face.
"Don't say something so creepy Sucy!" Akko retorted angrily stomping her foot
"SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT!" The voice now much louder boomed as a figure shot out from the portal landing face first on the grass below.
"What the-"
"It's just a boy how boring..." Sucy shrugged about to walk off
"What the hell, one second I'm walking home and the next I get swallowed up by something shit my back hurts," The figure groaned picking his face up from the ground.
"It's a boy and a pretty cute one at that," Akko shrieked out loud smacking her hands over her mouth.
"Ow what are you on about calling me cute can someone explain to me where I am!"
"Honestly can you have some etiquette you've just landed in front of girls and you use such vulgar language," Diana mocked crossing her arms.
"Yeah, you're calling me rude yet I've just landed from out of a portal I would think some kind of explanation would be expected, see you're not the only one who can speak all poshly," The figure argued back jumping up from the floor brushing the dust off his trousers and hoodie.
"We're in the super cool witch school from Luna Nova I'm sure you've heard of witches from back home right they may not be as popular as they used to be but I'm sure you have!" Akko exclaimed speaking with ridiculous speed.
"Can't believe I actually got all of that, so basically this is a witch school where you learn magic am I correct in that?" Each one of the girls gave a quick nod in response.
"Ok so you telling me I've been goddamn Isekaied," He murmured rubbing his forehead in frustration.
"I really can't be dealing with this but I guess I'm gonna have to, after all its every weebs dream to be taken to another world!" He spoke up punching the air.
"Another world I wouldn't really say that we can take you home within a couple minutes so don't go getting comfortable," Diane interrupted his shouting.
"Yeah, about that the girl with the leaf sticking up from her hair said that witches and magic were known back home well witches in my world are just simple fairy tale stories," He explained slyly seeing the annoyed look across Diana's face.
"EH, dammit I've just kicked myself in the foot realizing that how am I supposed to get home then!" He began tugging at his brown hair in fear.
"I wouldn't worry about it with magic anything's possible," Akko told him nonchalantly
"You're saying that Akko but isn't it your fault that he's here you're the one who cast the spell and all," Sucy cut in
"So, you're saying you're the reason I'm here it's your fault then I have school tomorrow, and my mum what's she gonna do if I go missing," He darted towards Akko in anger tightly grabbing onto her shoulders.
"Hey you can't grab someone you've just met especially a girl, who do you think you are!" Akko growled kicking him away.
"Alright I get it look we all started off on the wrong foot especially eel hair over there,"
"W-what did you just call me!" Diana's voice burst out a slight tint of red across her face
"Anyway, my names Kenji Otsuka I look forward to working with you and all that," Kenji introduced himself holding his hands over his head.
"I'm Atsuko Kagari but you can just call me Akko," Holding out her hand she also introduced herself getting no response.
"Hey don't be so rude all you've got to his shake my hand or are you scared of girls!" Akko teased stomping her foot again.
"Alright don't get you pa- yeah probably shouldn't say that nice to meet you Akko leaf hair," Kenji shook her hand.
"Don't call me leaf head!" Akko sent her foot into Kenji's gut sending him slumping to the floor.
"S-She grazed them she's a devil..." Kenji moaned in pain clutching his jewels
"What on earth is going on here!" A voice echoed through the conservatory
"P-Professor Finnelan w-well you see we have a small problem b-but don't worry I'm sure it can be fixed," Diana answered flailing her arms about.
"Can you not talk about me like I'm not here honestly does little miss perfect not want to take the blame," Kenji snickered from behind her.
"What a boy who's this?" Professor Finnelan questioned speed-walking over to the group
"Well, you see we were trying to help the Memorial tree but after we managed to do that a ley line opened up in front of us and this boy popped out," Diana explained flicking her hair over her shoulder.
"Hey don't act like you don't my name you're hurting my feelings eel hair!" Kenji spoke up poking his chest out.
"And you have no reason to call me eel hair my name is Diana Cavendish I come from a family of royals so try to treat me with respect!" Diana fumed her entire face turning red.
"That's enough out of you two, anyway if you're saying he appeared through the ley line then it shouldn't be too much trouble to bring him back," Miss Finnelan deduced getting a quick denial from the rest of the room.
"Sadly, that's not an option I'm not from the world that everyone else came from to get to this school so I'm out of ideas," Kenji admitted defeat slugging his shoulders back.
"Well, this is certainly a surprising development what should we do in this situation Miss Finnelan we can't leave him to go off on his own," Professor Holbrooke spoke up rubbing her chin.
"Why don't we just let him stay here then?" Akko proposed
"Are you insane miss Kagari to let a boy stay at Luna Nova would cause nothing but chaos who knows what kinds of heinous act he could commit," Professor Finnelan argued
"What kind of person do you think I am I'm not some mad pervert I may be rude and obnoxious but I'm still a... semi-decent human being!" Kenji yelled back quickly realizing the faults in his argument.
"I suppose we could have some fairies renovate an empty dorm room on campus for him, and attending magic classes could be a good way for him to learn about something from another world," Miss Holbrooke agreed listing down ideas.
"Heh I'm expecting this to be a lot of fun all the girls are gonna freak out," Sucy chuckled to herself walking back to the dorms.
"What she chuckling about- don't just casually look away from me what that weird girl laughing about!" Kenji demanded an answer getting nothing but whistles.
"Well, we probably should've mentioned it huh but Luna Nova is an all-girls school," Akko explained sheepishly rubbing her cheeks.
"What..."
"COME ON KENJI GET UP!" A voice boomed from behind the door
"Why did we have to be the ones to wake him up?" Another voice groaned
"Well, that goody-two-shoes Diana suggested that we have to show him around to the teachers and she thinks she's better than us," The first voice answered back clearly annoyed.
"I'm coming alright so can all of you shut it!" Kenji through his dorm room door open in a frenzy
"Woah Kenji you're wearing a Luna Nova uniform!" Lotte exclaimed her eyes gleaming through her glasses.
"I think it would've been better if the school gave him a skirt to wear," Sucy commented
"Yeah, I would've actually taken that if I didn't have to deal with that embarrassed blue haired teacher taking my measurements," Kenji shuddered remembering it.
"Do you mean Professor Ursula yeah I can see her being embarrassed by that," Akko snickered
"So why exactly do I need to be shown around the school I think I can get the gist of it if I just walk around," Kenji brought up studying the architecture around the halls.
"Well, that's good I thought we were actually gonna have to walk around the whole campus, we were gonna miss Professor Lukic's lesson," Sucy sighed in relief
"Thanks for taking time out of your day for me Sucy I'm honoured really," Said Kenji putting on a posh accent.
"Well, if we are getting rid of the tour idea all together then we should really get going then since our class starts in a couple minutes," Lotte jumped into the conversation adjusting her glasses.
"Ah your right c'mon Kenji we'll lead the way to victory!" Akko cheered sprinting off
"I wouldn't exactly call getting to class as a victory but alright!" Kenji cheered back following close behind the girls.
"Huh what are you girls doin' here I thought you had to give the new student a tour-" Professor Nelson cut herself seeing Kenji, Sucy, Akko and Lotte slumped over the grass exhausted
"Lead the way to victory my ass I thought Lotte would've known where to go, how the hell where you guys supposed to give me a tour when you couldn't even find your class!" Kenji scolded chopping all three of them over the head in rage.
"Hey we've only been in the school a couple weeks to you know blame Diana for being so stuck up!" Akko retorted standing up in a huff.
"Yeah, if I did that this argument would go on for another 100 words and we can't squeeze this chapter out for that much longer so I'll pass on that excuse," Kenji said dryly walking over to the group.
"That's him the boy who supposedly transferred into Luna Nova," A witch murmured as Kenji walked past.
"Can he even do magic though I mean he is a boy," Another spoke back
"He's probably going to make a fool of himself trying to ride a broom," One of Diana's friends mocked.
"Alright enough talking everyone line up it's time for more broom training, miss Kagari you go and practice you flight some more while the rest of you come with me, "Professor Nelson ordered as everyone split off.
"Uh has everyone already forgotten about me," Kenji pointed out speaking up
"Ah right sorry about that it's just I'm not too sure boys like you can actually use magic you can give a shot if you want," She suggested tossing the brown-haired teen a broom.
"Now to fly, speak a prayer to the broom, imagine flying in the air and say the words Tia Freyre,"
"This'll be good Lotte we'll finally meet someone who's worse at flying a broom than Akko is," Sucy snickered floating next to her friend.
"That's mean Sucy, to Akko and Kenji," Lotte turning her head away from her
"It was a joke Lotte, but let's be honest it'll be difficult for him to fly especially considering he's not even from here," Sucy gazed down at him ready to ride his broom.
"So, I just imagine myself flying and say it ok this is the first obstacle in my new Isekai lifestyle," Kenji repeated the words to himself.
"Tia Freyre!" Kenji bellowed squinting his eyes expecting to float
"As expected," Of course, still on the ground was Kenji having not moved an inch from the floor
"Did he really expect to be able to fly I don't know why Luna Nova stooped so low to let him into this school," Hannah said another snarky comment as she laughed with everyone else.
"Even in another world I can't do anything,"
Kenji was brought out of his thought by the pain of his hands bruising, he'd unconsciously wrapped his hands tightly around his broom.
"And Akko to at least he has a proper reason for not being able to fly but you're a witch and you can't even pick up the most basic magic skill," Barbara added causing an even larger eruption of laughter.
"Well, that's enough, but I think it is decided that Diana's got the top spot for this year's broom relay race," Professor Nelson spoke under her breath watching as a Diana flew around the field with grace and speed.
"Not if I have anything to do with it," Akko grinned from her broom
"Well, that wasn't fun at all man I thought I could take insults but girls are harsh!" Kenji whined from his table.
"Well, that's reality I don't think it would be possible for you to ride a broom in the first place," Sucy mentioned taking a sip from her drink.
"You're a real pep talker Sucy I'll have to book another therapy session with you later," said Kenji slumping over the table lazily eating his food.
"I wonder where Akko is she didn't come in when the lesson was finished," Lotte diverted the subject.
"I don't know knowing her she's probably still screaming Tia Freyre," said Sucy
"Hey guys what are all of you doing moping about let's go!" A familiar voice called out to them running over to the table.
"Ah the great broom rider herself has returned," Kenji joked looking up from the table
"Very funny Kenji but you couldn't ride yours either anyway I was on the way here when I saw Shiny Chariot in a picture as one of the winners of the broom race so I decided..." Akko paused for dramatic effect as she slammed a piece of paper onto the table.
"That were going to win that race and get our picture right next to Chariot's!"
I re-watched Little Witch Academia and I thought writing an Akko x Original Character story would be cool, I'm not going to make the OC a bland one just for the sake of storytelling I'm going to try and emphasis on that to make him feel like an actual person and character in this story, the next chapter will be on the broom race so I hope you enjoy.
