A petite brown haired brown eyed girl, no more than 6 years old sat in her cramped apartment with her drunk mother.
Ord Mantell isn't exactly a safe place of anyone let alone a little girl. But unfortunately she was drug around many worlds while her parents did scum work for just enough credits to put fuel in the 'Tecora', the only "Home" Satele Shan ever really knew, and barely enough food to fill their bellies.
Her mother bitched and moaned to her father constantly, wanting more. More things they couldn't afford. Satele swore if her father wasn't around her mother would sell her off, for the right amount of credits. She hated her mother. Tasiele wasn't a 'loving' mother. A few times Satele got abused by her mother when she'd be drinking.
She never told Satele that she despised her for her being the reason her was exiled from the Jedi.
Even though she was young, Satele never understand why her father would stay with a women like Tasiele. But she was thankfully. Without him, she would probably be a slave somewhere or worse.
Satele and her father had an amazing relationship. He taught her so many things and they went on so many fun adventures.
Ian wished he could give Satele a better life but They were only 17 when she got pregnant with Satele. They were both young and didn't have much money.
Over the years Tasiele became a drunk, mean, selfish woman but Ian couldn't leave her. He couldn't leave Satele, The light and love of his life.
He's thought about taking Satele and leaving but Tasiele was still a force user. He feared that, out of spite, Tasiele would hurt Satele if he every tried to leave.
Some decent paying jobs found them on Ord Mantell. They got a small apartment in Worlport, the capital.
The whole planet was nothing but gambling, spice, sex and drinking. Bounty hunters came and went. They were there for a few weeks when Satele was left under her mothers care when her father went out on a job half way across the planet.
He insured her he would make it back soon. He too hated leaving her alone with her mother. But this job paid well and force knew they needed the credits.
Tasiele started drinking, like always, right after he left. Poor little Satele always found herself in the wrong place at the worse times. She didn't even have to do anything for her mother to rip her up by her arm. Hard. Hard enough to make her yelp and form tears in her little brown eyes.
"Ow, you're hurting me!"
She threw her back to the floor not even bothering with it. Tasiele headed back the the room and Satele ran outside, away from her.
She sat against the wall crying for a few moments before sensing she was being watched. She looked up and two grown men were walking to her. That's when two men came up to her and tried to take her.
Satele tried to run. She ran and ran. Trying to lose them. She ran as fast as her could but found herself corned in a alleyway.
"Come on little girl, we aren't trying to hurt you." One of the men said with a sly grin on his face.
"Yeah, we just play and have some …fun."
Scared, Satele screamed and closed her eyes. Dropping to her knees. Praying to the force they would just go away.
Slowly, creeping closer to grab her, they stopped dead on their tracks.
Seconds later she heard the sound of a vibroblade snap and a grunt. Followed by another.
Shaking, she looked up. she saw the two men laying on the ground bleeding.
Becoming even more scared she looked up higher. A boy. A BOY was standing over them. Like nothing happened.
'He couldn't be much older than me' Satele thought.
Looking down at her shaking with tears flowing down her face. The boy reached a hand out to her to help her up.
"Are you ok? Did they hurt you ?" The young boy asked with a worried tone.
"N-no…I-I'm ok" still shaking Satele wiped her face. "Who are you ? And why do you have a vibroblade? My daddy said those are really dangerous."
"My Master calls me 'Marr' and he's the one who gave me this to protect myself whenever he wasn't around."
"Your master? Are you a slave ? " Satele asked with a puzzled look on her face.
With a laugh Marr replied "No, I'm not a slave. My master is like…a father."
A small smile played across Satele's face "Thank you for saving me Marr."
He smiled at her as she walked around the first body.
"How long have you been here ? Are you with anyone?" Asked Marr.
"Not long and I'm here with my parents. But my father gone on a job so I'm stuck here with my 'mother'." She said with a sour face.
"Something tells me you don't like your mother very much?"
With a sigh "Not really. She probably wouldn't even notice I was gone if those men took me." With a sad face, Satele looked down and started to cry again.
"Hey, pretty girls shouldn't cry." Marr stepped closer to Satele, Wiping her tears, "I won't let anyone take you."
Looking up into the beautiful brown eyes of his, Satele blushed lightly as he cupped her face.
"Where is your master at ? "
Marr stepped back. Trying to remember what is Master told him, he couldn't tell anyone. "He's back at…home."
"Oh"
"He sent me on a mission, that's when I found you here." Then with a small smile Marr added "Thankfully i came at the right time! Those men probably would have done horrible things to you, and sold you!"
His face got red with angry.
"I'm very thankful you saved me. But I'm only 6. I didn't think they would want slaves this young." Satele said with a sad grin.
"Slaves come in all ages, sizes and species. Unfortunately you are a perfect target. Young, pretty and a girl. I hate the slave trade. I'm only 8 so there's not much I can do about it. But my biggest dream when I get older is to stop it."
Moving away from the two dead men. Satele asked "W-would you mind helping me? I-I need to get home soon."
"Of course I'll help you …what did you say your name is?"
"I'm Satele."
On their walk he asked her questions about her parents, why they were here, what she thought of this place.
Half hour later they found the Shan apartment.
Not wanting him to leave or to go inside to the beating she'd probably get.
"Can I see you again…tomorrow?" Marr asked, a little too eagerly. "I really liked talking to you.. I hope we can be friends. I'm not sure how long I'll be here but I'll come back tomorrow?"
Hugging Marr , Satele said "I've never had a friend before!"
Leaving with a smile on his face he headed back to his hidden ship on the outskirts of the capital.
Inside the apartment her mother was passed out on the couch. Satele went to her small room and thought to herself. 'I can't believe he wants to be friends with me! … friends… and his eyes… so pretty.'
Back at his ship, Marr was on a holo with his Master.
"Master, I've picked up a trail that I believe is our best bet at finding it and the man responsible."
"Very good my apprentice. Follow this trail and report back to me any information you find. The Council needs this holocron. " Lord Victoris demanded.
"As you wish, Master." Marr replied with a small head bow.
"oh and Marr… " Marr looked up to his master. "I need you back on Nar Shadaa as soon as you're done."
"Understood Master." Ending the holotransmission . Changing into his light armor and clipping his crimson lightsaber to his belt, Marr left his ship to follow the lead he found earlier.
Before he saved the life on a very pretty young girl. 'Satele' he whispered. 'beautiful and so nice. She was so happy and excited to be friends.. I only had a few friends back at the academy. But she was so different… so…pure. But strong… strong with the force. I bet she doesn't even know it.' thinking to himself with a blush and smile. 'I can't wait to see her tomorrow.'
He cleared his mind and got back to his mission.
The next morning Satele put on her prettiest dress, a light blue one that complemented her pale skin and brown hair that she pulled back into two small braids.
She patiently waited for Marr.
Over the next 8 days Satele and Marr became very close and spent a lot of time together.
They went on adventures and Marr taught her a few tricks with a vibrobalde.
He wanted her to be able to defend herself. He knew he wouldn't be able to when he left.
Tasiele was too drunk to notice her 6 year old was barely home.
Satele was incredibly smart for her age. As well as Marr. Marr could sense her strong and powerful force signature.
He was surprised but thankful the Jedi Order hasn't taken her in yet but he never asked brought it up to her.
Before Marr left Ord Mantell he took Satele to his ship to give her a gift. He made them lunch and gave her a pretty flower "it's not as beautiful as you but it made me think of you." Putting it in her hair.
"You are so sweet." Satele said blushing as he put the flower in her hair.
"Only to you." Marr replied blushing himself. "I have to leave tonight, I've finished my mission here and I must return to my Master." With a sad face Marr said to her.
He could feel her sadness as it was his own. Leaving her would be the hardest thing he's ever done.
"Where are you going ? Will I ever see you again ?" Satele started to cry thinking of her only friend leaving.
"My master is waiting for me on Nar Shadaa but I don't know how long we'll be there. We travel a lot." Marr gave Satele a small smile and continued. "But I have something for you so you'll always remember me."
Reaching into his pocket Marr pulled out a small black box with a locket in it. Handing it to Satele he said "you'll always have me… close to your heart."
Opening the black box Satele start to cry even more. Taking the heart shaped locket out and seeing it was engraved with 'S&M' on the outside and a picture of them on the inside.
Her tears were pouring out at this point.
Marr cupped her face to pull her gaze to him. "It will all be ok Satele, I promise." He pulls her in and gives her a small kiss and hugs her tight. "We'll see each other again, I promise."
"Can I come with you?" She questioned.
"As much as I would love for you to come with me, I can't bring you. You have parents and you know your father will come looking for you. My master most likely won't let you stay with us either." Holding her tight still. "But I promise we'll see each other again. I'm not sure when but we will."
There was a long pause before she was able to look at him and reply .
"Thank you for being my only friend Marr. I pray we see each other again soon." she gives him a small kiss back.
"I know we're young but if I could I would marry you now so we could stay together forever." Marr said with a big smile.
"You would marry me ?"she asked with a puzzled look. Even being so young she still never thought someone would love her enough to marry her.
"Yes I would. Over the time we've spent together I've never felt so close to someone before. I probably never will again…I-I love you and promise you right now. I will find you again. I will marry you and build you that big beautiful house in the country you said you wanted."
"I… I love you too."
"Stay strong and remember You'll always have me… close to your heart." He said putting her locket around her neck. "Let me walk you home."
Marr walks Satele back home and they say their last goodbyes.
"Please don't forget me!"
"Never in a million years sweetheart."
Once on his ship again Marr let go a few tears but tells himself 'I'll find you again one day Satele, I promise. Then nothing will hold us back. just stay strong.' Marr takes off and heads to Nar Shadaa to unite with his Master.
Satele's father comes home and they eventually leave Ord Mantell and a few weeks later she's been taking to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
Satele woke in start. Covered in sweat, Clenching the heart shaped locket that laid on her chest.
'I haven't dreamt of you in years.' She thought.
After regaining her composure She got up and put on her robes. 'meditate… I just need to meditate.' She told herself.
Picking up her double bladed lightsaber as we walked out.
Satele had been stationed with her Master, battlemaster Darach, on a space station above the ancient Sith homeworld Korriban.
Since finding out about her heritage She's struggled with her balance in the force.
The council wasn't too keen on sending her to learn from Darach but let her go anyways.
Darach was an amazing teacher. He was also named battlemaster for a reason.
Though a Master Jedi, Master Darach also learned different ways of the Dark side and of the Sith themselves.
To know ones enemy, he believed you stood a better chance at a defeating them. Which put him at differences with the council and most other Jedi.
However, Satele looked up to and admired her Master. He thought her how to Channel her anger, safely.
She chose a double bladed lightsaber, much like her ancestor, Bastila Shan. She was also incredibly strong with the force. So strong it scared her many times because she wasn't sure how to use or control it yet.
She's been on this Station for 3 years now along side Republic trooper Corporal Jace Malcom. They have befriended each other over time. They trained together often. Ate most meals together in the mess hall.
Satele knew of Jaces feelings toward her but she had told him about the Jedis view on attachments so nothing between them could ever be more than friends. But that wasn't the whole truth.
It's not that she didn't care about him. She did. But her heart belonged to someone else.
Satele has been in love with a boy named Marr since she was 6, a boy she had only spent 10 days with. But that's all it took.
The force works in mysterious ways and she somehow felt like he was apart of her. Though she hasn't seen or heard from him in 12 years, she was still in love with the boy who saved her life all those years ago.
She's never taken off the locket he had giving her and she still prays that he will return to her.
Jedi or not Satele was in love.
The morning after her dream Satele was trying to eat breakfast in the mess hall like always when Jace came and sat with her. He could tell something was wrong.
"Satele…Hey…are you ok?"
"hmm ? Oh, ya…I'm alright."
"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked with a worried smile.
Not really wanting to talk to him about it but she knew he wouldn't leave her alone.
"I… I just had a… a dream last night. A dream I haven't had in years. I'm not sure why all of a sudden I am again." She said while fiddling with the food on her plate.
"Have you talked to Master Darach about it ?"
"No, I'm not sure I want to." Still fiddling with her food.
"Well why not? What was it about?" asking with some concern still on his face.
Putting her fork down with a sigh "if I tell you … please don't judge me ok?" She paused looking at him. He nodded giving her the ok to continue. "I was 6, before I was taken to the order. My parents went to Ord Mantell for work. One day I was out by myself. My mother was passed out inside…drunk and my father was away on a job. These men came up to me and I ran. Eventually I was cornered in an Alleyway. Next thing I knew the men were dead on the ground and this boy was helping me up." She paused, looking back down at her food . With another sign she continue. "we spent days together, going on adventures and stuff…I had alot of fun and I felt safe with him, so much so I wanted to run away with him. I learned alot in those days as well. He was my only friend for years. Even after being in the temple for a while. It's…hard for me to make friends. Especially when people know your family history." Not realizing she was playing with her locket "He gave me this before he left and promised we'd see each other again."
Not knowing what to say. She added "I'm sorry Jace. I didn't mean to …"
"No, I asked what was wrong… I'm happy you told me. You have nothing to be sorry about. You were young." With a smile he said. "I'm mot sure why you would go so long without dreaming about it to now it coming back but I'm sure there's a reason for it. You shouldn't be ashamed of it either. I hope you know we can talk about whatever you want whenever you need you know that?" He waited for her to nod or something to let him know she heard him.
"I would talk to your Master. I'm sure he would have better advice than me… but Satele…" he paused not sure he should continue…
"Jace, he's a friend. He was my first true friend. You know Jedi can't have attachments. Friendship…is about all we are allowed to have according to the high council. He'll always hold a place in my heart but I want you to know that you do too." She said looking at him with a smile."I'm thankful for our friendship. Believe it or not, you've made me a better Jedi. I truly have enjoyed our time together."
Looking at the clock "oh! we better get going if we wanna train before everyone else!"
Both got up and threw away their trash and headed for the training room.
Satele knew she said too much even though Jace asked. She never wanted to hurt his feelings.
If it wasn't for Marr and the Jedi code, she could probably see Jace more than a friend. He's very handsome, tall, strong, one of the best and most loyal soldiers the Republic has. But she was a Jedi and she knew deep down no one could take Marrs place in her heart.
Days, weeks went by and she still couldn't shake this feeling something was going to happen. She wasn't sure why or what it was. Probably didn't help she was so close to a planet strong in the Dark side.
So finally she asked her Master if she could have a word in private with him.
Master Darach and her sat in the meditation room for quite some time before he spoke.
"What is it Satele?" He asked, seeing her discomfort.
"I…I keep having this dream. One haven't had in years and I'm not quite sure why I am again." Satele said unsure how to tell him without getting a lecture.
"Can you tell me about this dream?" Darach asked , semi concerned.
With a subtle sigh Satele began explaining her dream.
"I understand as a Jedi I'm not suppose to have attachments or feelings for others… but I met him before I was a Jedi, my feelings came before I was a Jedi." With a frustrated breathe.
"I never wanted to be a Jedi . I hated that my parents sent me away. Even more when I found out my Mother is an exiled Jedi! The frustration and confusion of finding out I'm the only living descendent of both Revan and Bastila, the two greatest Force users of their time… it's overwhelming. I feel like the council is expecting great things from me but I can tell they are scared of what I'll become." Sighing again. "now with this dream coming back and this uneasy feeling something is going to happen. I just… I just don't know what to do."
Placing a hand on her shoulder "Satele, the force works in ways that sometimes the greatest users never fully understand. You already know that I don't 100% agree with the council. There's a lot of things that I've learned studying both the ancient Sith and Jedi ways. There's no way we can go around not having some type of attachments or feeling towards people it's just in our natures. It's nothing to be ashamed about. I don't exactly know the answer to why you're having these dreams again it could simply because the force is trying to tell you something, Something could've triggered the memory, a smell, a picture of some thing. Could be The force telling you that whoever this boy was is coming back or maybe he's never coming back it. Could be him trying to reach you through the force… there are many possibilities to why this dream to be coming back. I wish I had an answer for you. You're uneasy feeling you're getting I don't know that either. The possibilities that could be making that happen are unlimited. However, I am here to help you try to figure those out, we can meditate on them if you would like?"
Nodding, taking in what her master was saying. He added "can I ask you something?"
"Of course Master." Satele replied.
"Say whoever this person is does come back would you leave the Jedi order or would you stay? before you answer just know I will never judge you or make you feel bad about your decision and regardless of what that may be I am very proud of you Satele and it has and always will be an honor to be your Master." He smiled putting both hands on her shoulders for reassurance.
She gave it a few moments before answering.
"In all honesty, I truly don't know. Part of me wants to say yes, I'll stay because I swore an oath to the Jedi. I somewhat feel responsible to carry on the same path my ancestors were on. The other part of me would leave without hesitation…if it wasn't for this I wouldn't believe he was even real."she said fiddling with the locket around her neck. "I guess it would all just depend on how he comes back and who he is today. Just because I loved the boy who saved my life years ago doesn't mean he is the same man today…I just feel so confused. I would hate to let the council and you, most of all, down but a part of me feels like I'm letting myself down trying to please them. It doesn't help being so close to a planet that is strong the dark side and with Revan and Bastila's blood running through me. I know Revan was a powerful Sith Lord and Bastila even turn to the Darkside for a short time. But I also know there bond and love for each other pulled her back to the light. One of my biggest fears is being pulled to the dark side and not having someone or something fighting to pull me back." Signing loudly.
"I feel so unbalanced. I can feel this Power that I don't believe I should have as a Jedi. It scares me and I don't know what to do with it but forcing it down…it's like fighting the inevitable. I do not want bring devastation to worlds or people like Revan did as The Dark Lord of the Sith. But I feel like I can't be who I am destined to be… Who I feel I need to be by just using the light side and what the Jedi teach. If that makes any sense." Almost in tears, looking up to her master.
"Satele, you will never let me down. I feel you are more like me than you realize. A master Jedi, I may be but I understand what you mean by needing and wanting to use more than just the light side. There has been many times, not just with Revan, where force users use both sides of the force. That doesn't necessarily make them good or bad, Sith or Jedi. That's why I was… I guess you could say excited that you were coming to be my new Padawan. I want help you to learn to balance both sides of the force. Whether you choose to use them both or not. I will try my hardest to help you learn how to control both sides without being corrupted by Dark side. And you are correct, it is in your blood and I do believe you are destined to do great things like both of them did. But remember that they both followed their hearts regardless of what the Jedi code said. Or the Council. I do think we are a bit harsh with our code, not we should not necessarily change the code but stop being so black and white with it." Darach explained to her.
"What do you think i should do ? What would you want me to do? " Satele asked.
With a gentle laugh Master Darach said "The answer that I'm supposed to give you is that no matter what I want you to stay a Jedi, stay in the light but we both know you are a hardheaded stubborn woman just like Bastila and probably wouldn't listen." With a smile he continued. " but you need to follow not only your heart but your mind and gut as well. The council nor myself can give you an answer to what to do. All I can do is help guide you and teach you whenever I can. Ultimately the decision is yours."
" but what if I choose the wrong decision? I'm still so young…how do I know if it's a decision I should be making on my own ?" She asked worried.
"You may be young but you are one of the most intelligent people I have ever met Satele. I believe you'll make the right decision if the time ever comes. But what is life without wrong?"
Darach was trying to ensure her that she is capable of making her own decisions.
"Thank you Master, and thank you for always helping me. I know I am not the easiest Padawan but I am truly and will forever be grateful to have you as a master. " Satele bowed her head in respect to the Master Jedi.
"It has been an honor to be your Master, Padawan Shan. Now come. I feel like having a good sparring match, hmm?" With a mischievous grin.
"Yes, Master. I believe that would do some good." Returned a mischievous grin of her own.
The Master and Padawan set off to the training room. If you were ever lucky enough to catch them training together, it was a sight to see.
You never knew how it would go. Now Master Darach wasn't named battlemaster for no reason. Even watching him go through the forms was like watching water flow down a river.
Perfect. Beautiful.
Satele was also exceptional with her double bladed lightsaber.
For training purposes and safety, they used training staffs, so no one lost an arm or head.
Picking out a longer staff to replicate her lightsaber, she moved towards her Master. Playing offense to start, Satele throws a series of mixed angle blows.
Darach could tell she was using much more of the force this time but sensed no darkness coming from her. He smiled at this. He knew she was a fast learner but always second guessed herself.
Lost in his train of thought be missed a blow from Satele and stumbled backwards. Giving her an opening, though she was fast… she wasn't fast enough for the old Zabrak.
More and more of the Republic soldiers started to gather to watch them.
Finding an opening Darach got Satele in the face. Making her lose balance and dropping her staff.
She had jump and roll out of the way of his attacks. He was coming from all directions.
Right side , lift side, at her feet. He was fast at switching up forms.
She however, was like a bird. Using Acrobatics to maneuver herself.
Satele jumped over her masters head and rolled to her knees behind him and called her staff back to her hands in time to block his over the head blow.
Kicking her foot out she tripped her Master. Spinning up and around in such a quick motion, she was on top on him in seconds. Holding her staff to his neck. She stopped.
"Very good Satele." He laughed.
"Soon they might have to name you the new battlemaster." The zabrak said With a small chuckle and smile. Satele reached down and helped her master up.
Suddenly the group of soldiers that gathered to watch the sparring match, which included Jace, started to cheer for Satele. Since it wasn't often she was the winner.
And let's be honest, she was a sight to see even without sparring with someone.
She was always a little embarrassed when they did this.
She bowed and smiled.
Meeting Jaces face, she rolled her eyes and laughed.
A couple weeks went by and she was still having the same dream every night. But something changed… she now felt his presence during these dreams. Unsure what it meant but kept it to herself. She wasn't exactly in the mood to get into a deep conversation with either Jace or her Master with the lack of sleep she's been getting.
Walking one of the halls with her Master, Corporal Malcom , a fellow soldier of his and a smuggler they just arrested for Smuggling sith artifacts.
Which was against Republic laws and he tried to sneak past them from the surface of Korriban.
Obviously his plan didn't go so well since he was now in Republic forces custody.
While walking Satele suddenly got dizzy and dropped to her knees, holding her head almost in pain. Her master, clearly concerned.
"Satele what is it?"
Looking up and taking his hand to help her regain her balance.
"I sense… a great darkness."
Less than A minute later the Sith armada jumps out of hyperspace.
Alarms start going off , soldiers and staff running to evacuate. The station shakes, sharks fly from different directions.
Knowing the Shields are failing the five of them race back to the hanger bay to the smuggler, Nico's ship. He ensured them his ship was fast enough to get them back to the Republic to inform them the Sith empire has returned.
Master Darach commanders Nico and Jace to get the ship ready as Satele and him fight the two sith that were unloading from their ship. Darth Vindican and his apprentice Malgus.
After a short fight between the four, the ship starts taking off.
"Go Satele, you must walk a different path."
He turns always and start to run at the two sith.
Satele screams "Master." and throws him her lightsaber and runs to jump aboard the ship.
With help from Jace, Satele safety makes it and they retreat the space station.
Helping Jace shoot down sith fighters Satele is overwhelmed as she feels the death of her Master through the force. Moments later they jumped to hyperspace on their way to Coruscant.
Hours away from Coruscant still , Jace can tell something is wrong with Satele. Sitting down next to her he asks "You felt him die, didn't you ?"
Not expecting her reaction he jumps slightly as she throws her arms around his neck to hug him.
"I've never felt someone die through the force before and I never expected it to hurt the way it did." She said crying into Jaces neck.
Wrapping his arms around her waist he softly says "I may not be sensitive to the force but all death hurts, especially with ones your care about."
He lets her cry for a few minutes, still holding her tightly.
Pulling herself back, wiping away her tears she whimpered "Thank you Jace. For everything."
"You're welcome Satele." Pausing a moment, "I know it's against your code and I don't expect you to say anything back but I want… I need you to know that I really like you." He said looking into her already sad eyes.
"I know you do… and if I weren't a Jedi I …" swallowing hard. More tears slowly ran down her face.
"Satele you don't have to explain it to me again. I know how you feel and how you respect your order. I just needed to say it out loud to you for once."
Jace told her with a worried grin. "I feel like with the Sith back… it means war."
"I have a feeling it's not going to be an easy one either. This must be why I've felt uneasy for the last month. It was the Sith."
Finally Nico was able to get ahold of the Jedi temple on Coruscant.
"This is Jedi Master Gnost-Dural."
"Hello Master, this is Padawan Satele Shan. I'm calling to report that the Sith empire has returned and has taken over the Republic space station above Korriban."
A seconds pause "and I also, sadly, report that my master, Kao Cen Darach has been killed. In our attempt to evacuate my master and I encountered two very power Sith. I'm assuming a master and his apprentice. Republic trooper Corporal Jace Malcom and I were able to safely evacuate and are headed back to Coruscant now. I am unaware of how many others safely fled the Sith armada…I have then sensed that this is only the beginning of what they plan to do…Masters… I feel a terrible darkness is coming for us. I believe the Sith are… are back to inflict another war." She said with watery eyes and a sad grin.
Gnost-Dural sadly replies "The council feels this too young Padawan. The attack on the space station was their initiation of war. Unfortunately we have lost Korriban as well."
"We are sorry to here about Master Darach. He will be morned greatly. please report to the council chambers after your arrival."
"Yes Masters." Satele bowed her head and Nico ended the holotransmission for her.
Two hours later they were descending to the temple landing pad. Jace left to report back to the Republic military officers and Satele headed off to the Jedi council's chambers, after thanking Nico for the ride and letting him off with a warning, seeing how he helped them escape alive.
