A Deadly Conspiracy
CHAPTER ONE
It was a humid summer night in Paradigm City. Roger Smith spied the stars from his rooftop.. He loved looking at the stars. He did not know the reason. I twas unknown to him. He never told anybody about it. It was only kept to him.
"Well. It's almost dinnertime. I need a cig." Roger reached into his pants paocket and got aho0ld of his cigarettes. He lit one and continued to look up at the stars. He blew the mellow tabacco smoke out his nose.
"Master Roger." Roger turned towards Norman who had just come onto the Rooftop.
"Yes Norman."
"Dinner is ready." Roger tossed the cigarrete onto the ground.
"Thank You Norman."
At the dinner table candles were lit and his meal was ready.
"So what is it today Norman?" Roger asked as he sat down.
"Roast Duck sir. It is quite exquisite in France. They call it Pato Ala Orange. Roger tasted the magnificent meal.
"Thank You Norman. It's delicous."
"You are welcome Master Roger." Norman turned to Dorothy. "Are you enjoying your tea Miss Dorothy?"
"Yes. Thank you." Dorothy answered in her monotone voice. Dinner was eaten and Roger Smith got ready for bed. It had been a boring day for Roger. No negotiations were made that day. But he was tired. Roger quickly fell asleep.
Roger woke up in the morning to Dorothy's piano playing. He sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes wearily.
"Dorothy." He said as he walked to the dining room. His breakfast was ready. He sat down and enjoyed his breakfast.
"Did you enjoy your breakfast Master Roger."
"Yes. Thank you Norman." Roger replied. He then got up and headed for the shower and got dressed. Today, he was hoping, would be a more busy day.
Roger reached into his pocket for his car keys. Suddenly, Roger felt the cold of a gunpoint.
"Look buddy don't try nothin stupid!"
